I love the little details of the differences between the two kids. When the body falls out of the closet alone only focuses on the body and crawls away a little, while low ignores the body the moment he notices the umbrella and gets up before her to grab it, kinda implies alone is more focused on potential dangers and might be more scared while low ignores the potential danger and focuses on whatever can get them forward, maybe meaning he focuses on practicality but ignores danger. The soundtrack and the monsters is are some of my favorite parts of the franchise. So far i like the Necropolis ambience. I haven't heard a monster baby theme but i cant wait to the what other monsters they have and there themes.
Damn Supermassive Games are an absolute beast when it comes to horror. I was a bit worried after hearing Tarsier wasn't working on LN3, but seeing the level of care in detail, along with same old LN atmosphere here is very reassuring. Super massive W fr
The Little Nightmares universe is certainly interesting. There's so many questions like where did these monsters come from and why they're so aggressive and volatile towards our protagonists
Some monster are resembling the evil person behind it They were human that abused children and because of that, it makes them entering and trapping them in the nightmare realm. While some monster are.. Pretty confusing how they be there
Well, from what we know the enemies in the game. It all does stem from one thing that those "people" grow "addicted" or "greedy" with what they want. To the obese people that cannot stop eating, to the addiction of the TV screens warping people's faces. Obsession or something like that seems to be transforming them.
Thank you for releasing this so soon! Here's what I got from the trailer: 1- It's good that they are finally planning to allow 2 players coop mode, I was surprised that this wasn't already done in part 2, but better late than never. 2- Adding weapons and gadgets is certainly cool gameplay mechanic, however, it takes away one thing: The element of fear and helplessness which always made LN a scary game, Which was always about using the environment as your biggest weapon. I'm not saying Having a bow with someone and a wrench with someone else isn't nice, it just takes away "some" of the fear factor. 3- The desert usually has a calming effect, there are sands and there is a sun. These calm your nerves rather than stimulating them. Not a bad thing but certainly not the best place for a horror game. I hope there will be other dark areas which would still spice up the environment around you. Finally, I'm guessing Little Nightmares 3 is going to require more Fighting Skills than Problem solving and puzzle skills. Maybe I'm speculating too much for a 15 minute trailer. But who am I kidding? we all know I'm going to buy it as soon as it's released. I only hope that the game will take more than just 5-6 hours to finish.
I’m sorry but how tf does the desert calm your nerves? Tbh if I was a kid there I would be anything but calm. Imagine being stuck in a place with the sun constantly beating down on you and sandstorms constantly throwing debris into your face while your trying not to get turned into stone by the babydoll version of Medusa???? A game does not need to be dark to be scary, and I feel as though the story will make up for any horror lost within the environment. Also I don’t understand how weapons will make the game less scary, we had axes in the second game and it didn’t take away from anything, and from what I can see the weapons are only used for mini enemies, there is no way that lows tiny crossbow and alones wrench is enough to defend ourselves against a literal giant.
The fact the first and only enemy we know of (besides the towns people) is a giant baby doll with a eye that can turn people into stone is crazy. Makes you wonder what else we will encounter.
14:38 -14:43 be thankful that the insects that made the holes aren't spiders or ants or hornets or wasps. Or any other predatory insect that make these kind of nests.
But aren't scarabs just as predatory? Not irl, but in that situation they could eat up a dead bird😅. Yes, those bugs look like scarabs to me😊. I think they burrow too.
@@unknownstranger3646 ah. Idk, I just pieced together desert, scarabs, y'know bc the Necropolis reminds me of Egypt kinda. Hercules beetles live in more temperate if not tropical climates I thought?
I think it’s a small shame that it seems to be a completely new team behind this. I can already feel that’s it’s somewhat different (in a good way) from the first two. Like Low and Alone, while amazing character designs that i’m already obsessed with, feel a lot more.. marketable? and just feel a lot different from Six and Mono. They stand out a lot more to me! Very excited for this new direction. I’m intrigued!! Will say though, hate hate hate the whole “it’s all a dream thing” just not my cup of tea especially becuase of how much this felt like a real world. There was so much wording building and so many complex, interesting locations and for it to be like this, dream world? i’m not a fan, especially with how it effects the plot of 1/2. I wonder what the world they actually live in is?
Well in the universe of Little Nightmares there seems to be two realms: the real world and the Nowhere. Children who are troubled in the real world seem to be taken to the Nowhere via dreams and eventually oneself entirely if they submit themselves to it and let the Ferryman "rescue" them. So it's very much real, dreaming is just a way of getting there. In the audio fiction, there are moments where Noone disappears, pops out of existance in thin air because her body is being transported to the other realm and eventually she disappears entirely, letting the Ferryman take her so she wouldn't be tested and experimented on due to Dr. Otto's selfish desires, she also wouldn't be in pain anymore because her pain would vanish in this realm, she even felt more of herself there, she felt whole. It seemed like the more she visited the Nowhere the more she would lose her sense of self in the real world, even mentioning that she was slowly forgetting her parents.
since the children can interact that means it's not a dream to some capacity. the places they're in do exist. I think it's a pretty fresh take on the "it's all a dream" trope, which I'm not a fan of either. I was iffy on it at first too, but I think it's cool after thinking about it
1:23 I did and honestly I feel sorry for the poor girl who had to suffer because of the evil doctor!(as much as the nowhere realm is dangerous for children! But I sometimes think they are better off in nowhere than the counties if they are evil people like the evil doctor out there! By the way Mike you did fantastic reading some of the stories!)
So, a few things that come to mind after watching this demo.... 1.Does anyone else feel like at some point when the full game releases that something bad is going to happen to take away either Low or Alone in the middle of the game, or is it just me😅? I mean, if we look at the motif for LN2, it was the fedora hat; symbolizing the Thin Man of which Mono becomes bc of Six's betrayal. The motif for this seems heavily based on parts of crows or ravens (skulls, bones, feathers), and who has a bird mask on? LOW OF COURSE! So I have a feeling something may happen to either or, but I'm mainly leaning near something happening to Low, making the girl truly "Alone", no pun intended. 2. I love the animation techs that the team used, from the giant scarabs (the bug creatures), to the animation of Low pulling along Alone through trapdoors and whatnot. I also love the personality they added to Low as he genuinely portrays care for Alone, willing to help her off the ground like a gent would. 3. Anybody think that, when the game does release, a collab between Mike and Jacksepticeye would be great? Idk I just think they'd make a great collab dream team but that's just me tbh. Wdy all think?
Wet blanket here. The bugs are the Hercules beetle (Dynastes hercules) a species of rhinoceros beetle native to the rainforests of southern Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Lesser Antilles. It is the longest extant species of beetle in the world and is also one of the largest flying insects in the world. It's completely harmless.
Theory: What if the city Low and Alone are in is the Pale city from Little Nightmares 2 but many years later where the cycle had eventually broken and crumbled the city. If that's the case there's a chance we'll see the tall man or elements of him
While that’s a nice theory, I don’t think they’re the same. You can see that the architecture and style of the city is way different than pale city’s much more “modern” look. I think this city (Necropolis) is simply another location within the nowhere.
@@notheno6388 Fair enough, but there's a chance it can also be the effect of the signal tower, with the way it can shape reality in the city, so I guess we'll find out
Yeah, no. That’s not pale city at all, pale city is long gone, this is a different nightmare world. Thin man is stuck in a loop, left behind alr. Pale city looks nothing like this and it’s much brighter here. I highly doubt this is pale city
1:20 Your summary helps😃. 3:30 Would be nice to see the first person/out of bounds view~ 9:40 Could it be that, the baby is the Pretender's baby form? 16:10 That is so cute.
My only complaint is the animations look stiffer than the last two games. The animations here kinda makes this feel less like there’s weight. (Tho since this is pre-alpha I’ll hold my breath)
I’m being haunted by creepy babies/dolls in video games, and I’m not even gonna ask why. I’m super thrilled for this game to come out, and I hope you can choose which of the kids you want to play as.
At the end, I think they’re still in the nowhere, because if they were in the Counties Psychiatric Institute the bed would be a normal size for a child. and they wouldn’t be that darkness slowly moves to them menacingly.
Why did alone walk straight under the baby’s hand, you would think she would pull a Mono and let low get taken. Also was only low sleeping? It seemed like alone was awake sense she was sitting upright.
I still kinda want this game to end up being completely different from what we've seen so far, new story, new characters, ect. I think it'd be interesting to see
i love the fact that different parts of the other 2 games are in this one like when the trapdoor alerted the hunter this time it alerted this baby and the eye from the first game
Dude you wrote some of This?! That's incredible! I absolutely love this series so much. I ❤ IT!! Alone is my favourite. They both are but such a great team.
I have a theory that Alone is the same girl we saw escape at the beginning of the Secrets Of The Maw dlc. That girl also had a double ponytail. Alone also seems to be the double ponytail girl from the character leak.
Anyone else notice that all four games are directly inspired by studio Ghibli’s movies, in the little nightmares one with Six and the Maw the last place we go is where the guests go to feast and where the The Lady’s headquarters are/is which could simulate spirted away with all of the guest’s going to a nice, lovely, and pleasing atmosphere/resort. In this one when the baby doll detaches the roof from the room that could also simulate The secret world of Arrietty when the grandma detaches the small family’s tiny house.
I feel like the coop is like A Way Out or the We Were Here series, where only one of you will survive... Unless there's another ending where both survives or dies by the end.
at 18:19 i think that black mist could be from six after they eat the lady, we see black mist get sucked out of the guests, and the bed looks like the one's in janitor section. Mybe six used their power to save who she could on the ship?
Maybe low and alone ended up in the hospital and alone got taken away by the doctor and alone is now in a cell and her hair has grown to a pigtails and she found spoons and remembers that she used to have a wrench so she escapes the cell
I just went over to the podcast and its amazing! I love it going back and forth with videos here and to the podcast connecting theories to the series. I commented there but I thought I bring my idea here. It makes me wonder if Low and Alone along with the other kids were victims of Otto slowly being sent to the hand of the Ferryman to Nowhere. Maybe through Low and Alone jumping from world to world in the spiral would lead them to meeting Six or even Mono through the time loop. Creating a group like game facing the world of Nowhere breaking the time loop and control of Nowhere to escape back to reality.
@@BlueMecha Once they enter it yeah, but in a way they have to, to start their own timeline in order to escape back to the real world. Maybe to a future game of the kids facing the main source of the Nowhere which could be them facing their own traumas and fears. Creating a door from out of their fear/nightmare to reality.
@@elizabethbueno5291 but. They can't escape right? If they are already trapped in there, they will be forever there until they grow up and become a distorted version of themselves. Except if they already escape their trauma and abuse in the real world before the ferryman starts to fool these kids with little "promise"
@@BlueMecha True, those who have been there for too long might be too corrupted to return. But going back to the podcast the Ferryman only takes young children who have intense fear/trauma they want to escape from. When giving into his promise they give their control up to the Nowhere. The plunge or push as he says. Making another world in the spiral only for them to possibly be stuck in someone else's world. Basically if they face their trauma the Nowhere would have to kick them out cause they gained back that control by facing their trauma head on. It can't control them anymore thus leading them back to the door to reality. Only for the Nowhere to await for new willing victims to fall into its trap.
I love your videos about little nightmares, I don't have the game so I haven't played it yet, but that makes it even more interesting and fun for me to watch your videos. I hope you will make more videos about little nightmares III and the previous games of little nightmares in the futur. Keep up the good work🤗!
I would also love to see a ‘Coraline-style’ version of LN with its own characters, still in theme with the franchise but utilising the doll, within a dollhouse and Victorian village, complete with dark park and theatre environments. I think that would be really cool.
If little nightmare 2 was a prequel to the first one. Showing Mono stuck in a loop. I wonder what will be the ending of this one. Will these two meet someone or something
Hm, fascinating display, it will be interesting to see how the Full Version will play out. Anyway, it seems like you can Switch between the Characters when playing alone, but I could be wrong about that.
@@gabyxone3542 so, if what you say is true, does that mean you get to decide who to play as in the beginning and just have to stick with that choice for the rest of the Game or is there just one Character who is the Main Playable one.
supermassive has honestly done such a good job, everything from the atmosphere to the animations. I really do love how they one for one copied the animations of ln2. the only thing that worries me is that does this follow on with the little nightmares story? I get six and mono and other iconic characters most likely won't return but surely there'll be some sort of reference or show up.
How I missed this game.... Littles nightmares was one of the foundations for this channel! It was one of the infinity stones for Mike's infinity graulent
I have the first two games and I love them. Is there a specific release date for the 3rd one yet? I know it is not until 2024, but I hope it is closer to the beginning of the year.
I have bad feeling about low I mean if he can teleport into mirrors that must be a sign that he is mirror man and alone traps him into the mirror and escapes or dies it’s going to be bad ending… I have guts for it
Necropolis...that sounds like a lovely place. It must mean that there are dead things there. But there have always been dead characters in the Little Nightmares series.
Little Nightmares is the one series as soon as you think it's gone it shows up out of nowhere and becomes your life again for like another year or more.

6:13 never heard SHB laugh, this warmth my heart :).
Imagine if Low would die in the final chapter of the game, which means Alone would end up alone, hence the name
That would be so sad :(
Pretty sure that's what's going to happen, we can't have happy stuff in LN.
He would have to die at the very very end cause ya know.. 2 players
They have said that low is alone's best friend
They seem very caring towards each other so it would be really tragic
we know how LN is. We can never expect anything happy as the endings are always usually bad. Wouldn’t be surprised if this happened either
The Little Nightmares universe is certainly interesting. There's so many questions like where did these monsters come from and why they're so aggressive and volatile towards our protagonists
Some monster are resembling the evil person behind it
They were human that abused children and because of that, it makes them entering and trapping them in the nightmare realm.
Didn’t the ferryman said that adults can’t get in nowhere but if they somehow manage to do they turn into monsters
@@Meruniaw they need to be very bad in order to enter that "realm"
We're pleased you're ready to visit again...
How has nobody seen this yet??
Bandai W
Thank you for releasing this so soon! Here's what I got from the trailer:
1- It's good that they are finally planning to allow 2 players coop mode, I was surprised that this wasn't already done in part 2, but better late than never.
I only hope that the game will take more than just 5-6 hours to finish.
oh boy do i hope it takes long to finish
@@aiyanajackson1090 if you ask me, they look like rihnoceros beetle to me. Actually, i just looked it up. And the happen to be called hercules beetles
@@unknownstranger3646 ah. Idk, I just pieced together desert, scarabs, y'know bc the Necropolis reminds me of Egypt kinda. Hercules beetles live in more temperate if not tropical climates I thought?
i thought it ended but im glad there's 3, this came outta nowhere like a surprise, I'm glad you'll be playing it
It has taken 5 years…for one of these kids to FINALLY wear a shoe lmao
It's not really a dream though. It's kinda like the Coraline movie. Can come while dreaming but it's a legit place you can be trapped in
since the children can interact that means it's not a dream to some capacity. the places they're in do exist.
LN1: The Lady
LN2: The Thin Man
LN3: ....The Counsellor 🙏🏾
3:30 Would be nice to see the first person/out of bounds view~
9:40 Could it be that, the baby is the Pretender's baby form? 16:10 That is so cute.
My only complaint is the animations look stiffer than the last two games.
The animations here kinda makes this feel less like there’s weight.
(Tho since this is pre-alpha I’ll hold my breath)
I’m pretty sure they design the chapters first and then the animations
WE MAKING IT OUTA THE PALE CITY WITH THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯💥💥💥
I’m being haunted by creepy babies/dolls in video games, and I’m not even gonna ask why. I’m super thrilled for this game to come out, and I hope you can choose which of the kids you want to play as.
Has anyone else heard that Amanda the adventurer? is actually now getting a sequel!! and has anyone else seen the trailer for it it's pretty wild!
blud is at the wrong fandom 💀💀
Can't wait to meet Monster, baby!
HOWEVER
Since she's the 1st antagonist, I anticipate the last is gonna be the scariest and most powerful! 😨
At the end, I think they’re still in the nowhere, because if they were in the Counties Psychiatric Institute the bed would be a normal size for a child. and they wouldn’t be that darkness slowly moves to them menacingly.
Needed this given all the garbage going on irl. This looks incredible....and horrifying.
I’m soooo ready to grab snacks and binge watch every single video of Mike uploading his play throughs when the game comes out
Why did alone walk straight under the baby’s hand, you would think she would pull a Mono and let low get taken. Also was only low sleeping? It seemed like alone was awake sense she was sitting upright.
I feel like the ending of this gameplay trailer is hinting that we will return to the maw or something connected to it. Also cant wait to see more!
I still kinda want this game to end up being completely different from what we've seen so far, new story, new characters, ect. I think it'd be interesting to see
the hand of the baby suddenly moving really scared me lol
Wasn’t expecting a new little nightmares game but i am so hype for it, i hope six gets involved in some way
so the Circus, the ocean of the Maw, the spiral... all locations and regions in the Nowhere realm
I am super exited for the release 💜✨️ !!
This game is gonna released in 2024
@@squadsboys2999mid 2024
@@loverofyurigagarin1149 like o saw the stream in little nightmares 3 they add release date of the year this game is gonna released in 2024
Me too! I can't wait till it releases in 2024!
i love the fact that different parts of the other 2 games are in this one like when the trapdoor alerted the hunter this time it alerted this baby and the eye from the first game
F for the statue guy who almost made it around the corner
I'm shocked to be this early, but I'm really excited to see you play little nightmares 3 :)
Nah she’s long gone
could they have woken up in the maw? maybe I'm speculating but it seems like one of the beds in the maw. now THAT would be a plot twist for the ages.
Little Nightmares 1 and 2 were great, looking forward to this one.
Guys, it's happening, I'm getting sucked back into the lore of LM. Can't wait for LM3 to release!
Thanks for more great content keep it up
i just noticed at the end on the bed they held hands cause they were so scared 😭🥰
You noticed low has a bigger eye socket than the other?
Love the little nightmare series I am so happy it still going!
Of course super horror is already on this
SIX Stories in the podcast you say? Interesting choice of words
I think those are chimney sweep brooms, but I've never seen one outside of Mary Poppins, so don't take my word for it.
Maybe low and alone ended up in the hospital and alone got taken away by the doctor and alone is now in a cell and her hair has grown to a pigtails and she found spoons and remembers that she used to have a wrench so she escapes the cell
Little Nightmares is a good series and Happy Halloween!
Wouldn't that break the loop?
THE VISUALS. THE GRAPHICS. THE REALISM.ITS ALL PERFECT.SAME FOR ALL THE GAMES.
so mono becomes thinn man, six possibly becomes the lady, so maybe alone becomes the monster baby girl and low becomes whatever the circus monster is
9:10 is there a Nome on the wall shelf?😳
It is 😮 what achievements would u like to see in this game I ld imagine finding a baby bottle and other baby items for a weird achievement
You always make me happy and always make my day better
Loving this game already! The new mechanics to the new lore we've been given in the podcast is just awesome
If little nightmare 2 was a prequel to the first one. Showing Mono stuck in a loop. I wonder what will be the ending of this one. Will these two meet someone or something
I think this is a sequel but set in a completely different location. This place looks very different from the cool colors of the previous two
Hm, fascinating display, it will be interesting to see how the Full Version will play out.
Anyway, it seems like you can Switch between the Characters when playing alone, but I could be wrong about that.
no u can’t, one is controlled by AI
@@gabyxone3542 I could tell that much, but it felt like the Character Focus Switched during this Presentation.
@@johanstenfelt1206 yeah… maybe it was made just for showing but idk
@@gabyxone3542 so, if what you say is true, does that mean you get to decide who to play as in the beginning and just have to stick with that choice for the rest of the Game or is there just one Character who is the Main Playable one.
Yes co-op!😊 I'm going to ask my mom for this game. I love Alone.
supermassive has honestly done such a good job, everything from the atmosphere to the animations.
“It seems the monster baby has the eye built into its head”
Really? I thought it would be built into the left elbow ngl
I can’t wait to play whenever Chloe comes out
So they both had a “little nightmare.”
F for the rip man
Chase scenes always had my heart racing... this looks so tame... idk
Br0 when this comes out we can probably have so many chances to get good wallpapers/screenshots lol
Fr! I can't wait for that!
OMG I LOVE LN SO MUCH!!! I’m obsessed
The ladder up the wall gives me little nightmare 1 vibes from that one part climbing the cloth rope
This looks Awesome!!
OH MAN I'M SI EXCITED FOR THIS!!!!
The whole necropolis area was in shades of yellow, and the place where they woke up was a bit of greenish, could the areas be colored themed?
Most likely. The funfair has a purple vibe. The pale city is like a blue vibe.
This looks so good, lots of familiar mechanics and some new ones as well, I’m so excited!!!!
