3:45 I think one thing that made this bit particularly horrifying to me is something that I doubt is connected, but is still scarred into my memory. There’s a disease that infects deer and elk, and turns them into something reminiscent of zombies, it’s called Chronic Wasting Disease. Open sores and rot, empty dead eyes despite still technically being alive, and particularly, their messed up bones and joints. The rotting while still alive, the sickening bones cracking, it’s very visceral. While I do love Little Nightmares, I’m just as excited to see ReAnimal, as it covers certain aspects of horror that, while not as easily marketable, is still just as fascinating, especially with the concept of predator and prey (which, I LOVE that the big monster is a scary lamb. It’s not often you see monstrous lambs being a main antagonist, so it’s nice to see!).
Idk why people are already comparing and negative about LN3 when it hasn't even come out yet. Tarsier could have easily just swept LN into their vault of finished series and we could've never gotten to see it again but they passed it on the Super Massive and now we have 2 games to enjoy! Its like getting 2 presents for Christmas and still complaining about it. As a big fan of these types of games i wholeheartedly welcome and am so excited for both Reanimal and LN3 and i will play and enjoy both of them.
I mean personally I’d rather a series stop than have a big drop in quality. I hope LN3 turns out good but from what I’ve seen so far it lacks inspiration. There’s nothing truly new or striking like there was in the previous games trailers, and even the giant baby shares the same gimmick as the eyes from the first game.
If u watched their podcast the carnival episode they built up a character who was very dark and mysterious and his role was very gruesome and he will probably be in the carnival chapter so saying that they are not creative would he a stretch
It’s crazy how everyone was so positive about LM3 with the initial trailer (just check the comments) up until Reanimal got revealed. I still think they both look good. I’m personally more excited for Reanimal because it looks scarier and more mature, but they both look good.
Am I the only one who is getting massive G. Orwell's Animal Farm from this? It could be a twisted world where animals took over but they are also literall monsters
I think the line at the end of the trailer which says "I thought you were dead" is reminiscent to "Pet Sematary" where the characters come back to life but they aren't the same. They could have actually died, but were brought back to life by this evil force.
my theory is that maybe LN3 and RA is working together I thought you was dead what if six and mono meet again in one of the games and six meets mono again and says I thought you was dead to mono

How I see it is, is that Little Nightmares was Tarsier taking a dip in the waters. Their beginning. Reanimal is their magnum opus. Not what other companies have asked for them to do, but THEIR ideas.
I honestly can't wait for both games to come out and see how different and simillar the games are to eachother though of course I'm still going to treat them as two completely seperate games! I'm so glad Tarsier Studio is releasing another game they've been my favourite developers for a long time
Another wonderful trailer analysis as always! I'm highly intrigued by the Reanimal site's description of the game, noting "Fragments of the children's troubled past have been used as inspiration for their character design, and for the monsters that now torment them." I can't wait to play this game and hear more of your thoughts on it! 💜
I was thinking of that boar monster that was used in the scene that inspired the first Breath Of The Wild trailer. same rounded front with no visible face, similar fur pattern, loads of human-like arms, and it even moves similarly from what i could see.
My theory is that the Hunter is connected to Reanimal. Knowing the hunter loves taxidermy, and there is a deformed moose head on his wall. Not to mention the massive moose that was supposed to be in the backgrounds of the woods, that got scrapped. Could the hunter have gotten powers from the thin man, and used them to reanimate dead animals that he has taxidermized? We do know he likes to use taxidermy to bring people "back to life" by putting fake versions of them in different rooms. (the dining room with his family and his mom in the attic) although they werent alive because he didnt have any powers. But maybe, that changed? I'd like to add that the doctor could be related too. He brought mannequins to life. Him and the hunter could have teamed up to bring back dead animals, using the hunters taxidermy and the doctors power to bring things to life.
I know right? It's almost like different studios have different approachs towards the same game and we should reserve our judgement for when we actually get to play it.
You're dumb for thinking that Lmao!!! ReAnimal has no gnomes. So, it's not little nightmares. sweethistorea, get your facts straight. Reanimal woudn't exist without little nightmares. Just because it's not produced by Tarsier doesn't mean it's going to be terrible. SMH Grow up, sweethistotea = 🤡🤡
It's funny how the moment Supermassive Games posted another trailer for Little Nightmares 3, Tarsier Studios here just rushes in and steals their thunder, it's like: Supermassive; Heyy, guys. We were very busy on this game we've had the responsibility of developing, we have a new trailer out, so I hope you like it- Tarsier: Halo! We have new game out! It's about children... Running away from monsters! No, not LIttle Nightmare, what are you talking about? Anyway hope you like! And the fans rush to the Reanimal trailer.
by trailers RA looks better and they probably agreed the chances of them realsing them the same day is very slim and RA wasn't rushed by looking at the trailer
I've seen comments on SuperHorrorBro's video about reanimal and people were saying that the brother was dressed up as a rat or a mouse and I thought that reanimal took inspiration from the Little Nightmares series (for obvious reasons)and Studio Ghibli (sorry for not remembering the last name of the infamous anime studio) but I didn't know that the Little Nightmares series and reanimal was also inspired by horror movies and I didn't know that the Little Nightmares were also inspired by the infamous anime studio
I had a dream that ended with a sheep standing on its hind legs that walked and turned to stare at me and looked at me with a bizarre tongue sticking out and when I saw it I woke up with a gasp. I couldn’t explain why it was so scary but the sheep in this game kind of is a good example of why it scared me
idk i feel like six and mono will meet again because at the end of the RA trailer you hears a girls voice and if you go and listen to sixs ois and what ever in LN2 they sound hella familer so maybe six and mono meet again and six says I thought you was dead and I think reanimal is a secret LN4 but hey those or just some theory
5:13 I feel like the spider-like creature is more of a nod to the cursed boar god in Princess Mononoke, since both have a similar overall look, although the one in Mononoke has those maggot-like curse worms emerging from it. The giant hole makes me think of a hole going all the way down into hell. It kinda reminds me of an old 80s horror movie called The Gate where the protagonists are a bunch of kids who dig up a geode that seems to have been blocking a gate into Hell and have to spend the rest of the movie dealing with demons invading while they try to return the geode and seal the hole. I feel like the trailer is hinting the protagonists set the disaster in motion, possibly by doing something as innocent seeming as dropping the dead body of a lamb that had died on their farm down a deep pit. The girl’s rabbit mask stands out, both because it’s the only mask that seems to have been intended as a mask, and because it reminds me of the Huntress mask from Dead by Daylight. The lamb and pig both symbolically have links to the underworld. The lamb because it is the symbol of Jesus Christ, a character who comes back from the dead, and the pig because of Orcus, the Roman god of the underworld.
I think the “Re-“ in the title Reanimal refers to “return”. Like return to animal more so than being reanimated. I think we will see people devolving into animals.
It's the fact that as soon as everyone saw the Reanimal trailer No one is talking about Little Nightmares anymore Everyone is making Reanimal videos just like Beaver who was a very big fan of the LN franchise
It's normal for people to be excited for something new. Plus the new LN trailer didn't really show off anything that new or exciting. I'm sure when it gets closer to release everyone will be excited for it again.
LN3 looks really "sanitised" for an LN3 game whilst Reanimal doubles down on what made LN1 and ESPECIALLY LN2 so good. From the monster designs, to the sound design and the monsters.
@@Terichothat still doesn’t excuse the sudden switch around just because Reanimal is “more akin” to the first games. It was made by those people. Supermassive is replicating. There’s a huge difference
I did have a theory that this was a prequel to Ln2, but after finding out it's a different franchise I gave up on that. Ln1 felt like it focused more on adrenaline and the horror was having to run for your life. Ln2 felt like it focused more on the horror of isolation, two small children who only have each other in a post apocalyptic world much too big for them. This feels like we're gonna be watching the apocalypse happen, watch the world fall apart around us with no way to stop it. The fear of inevitability like death, since there's a big focus on that with the reanimated animals and there was a guy walking like a zombie.
Rather than that spider beast being a nod to the soots, I think it looks a lot like that demon/tatarigami of the god Nago in the beginning of Princess Mononoke, with the multiple humanoid arms and big furry like body... What do y'all think?
Great video, it sucks they don’t have the rights to little nightmares but if we get a game like this where their ideas can run wild I’m all for it especially if it’s an open world (exploring with boat) as well
I find it crazy that some of the Little Nightmares games took some inspiration from Spirited Away. Little nightmares is my favorite game and Spirited Away is my favorite animated movie, I can’t believe I never connected the dots!! 😂
One of my first thoughts while watching the trailer was how the dude dragging a body inside the cinema looks like one of the TV corrupted people from LN 2, and made my own head Cannon they are in the same universe, but in a very different location from LN 2 and LN 1 Edit: upon further inspection of the trailer the dude dragging the body has a face, unlike the TV people. But i still head cannon it as being in the same universe
Im surprised they re doing a game that is still very similar to LN, dont get me wrong I love that they are doing so, but consider they didnt wanted to continue with LN for me at least was that they just wanted to explore other type of games, but now im assuming its had to be more about their relationship with Bandai on LN might not have been what they wanted and ultimately just not continue with the partnership losing the IP, although they still got another publisher for this game hopefully they made it so they can’t interfere in the development and maybe even keep the IP
@@SilverMere20 what i think is that they purposely handed little nightmare 3 to other company to make the game so that they can make this game at the same time. With the purpose of making it connected and more impactful to the storytelling of the LN universe
Im a bit late to the party but i just love the darker 'little nightmares' cousin. Seeing the trailer and being a huge fan of ghibli movies it seems like reanimal takes some inspirations from "Princess Mononoke" as well. The creature at 5:08 really reminded me of the evil spirit at the start of princess mononoke which overtook an old forest god (a huge boar) and also had several arms and a fleshy almost fur like body. Or you could compare it to angry no face from spirited away. Its really fun to see these types of creatures in a upcoming game im so excited !
I could totally be wrong, but I wonder if the boy in the sack is actually in reference to a cat, not a pig. Like, ‘the cat’s out of the bag,’ which refers to letting a secret slip. The phrase itself is also in reference to a really old practice of (tw, animal cruelty) drowning unwanted cats and kittens by tying them into a bag and tossing it in a river. Bc of the phrase, the themes of death and children, and the importance of water imagery and drowning in Reanimal, I really think the boy in the bag might be intended to look like a cat! (Edit for clarity)
Your Theories are so good, i think that they also got inspired of the Ps2 game ICO and not just Studio Ghibli, in Little Nightmares 2 there was an easter egg about ICO (The Watermelon at the end) and they also escaped with a boat that looks exactly like the boat they travel in Reanimal
I think it is cause all of tarsiers previous games link to little nightmares I can’t imagine with this game being so simolilar it too wouldn’t be also note how the characters in reanimal are dressed like boy and girl in the paintings in the lady’s quarters in game 1 also important to note the kids nightmares reflect fear around them and the voice at the beginning of the trailer is a northern English accent where you would find loads of farm animals even sometimes fields of them in developed areas
6:05 Couldn't it be a sheep, already ? That could explain this dream-like scene. Just like people are told to count sheep to sleep, the sheep could put the child in a semi-sleep-like state (which is made even easier by the presence of a bed).
I genuinely think it's a combination of both. No Face is completely smooth and has a mask, whereas the soot sprites look "furry" and don't really have a face either.
I can't help but think of "sacrificial lamb" in regards to the sheep and wonder what that will symbolize in the game, especially with how prevalent the sheep imagery is. Plus, criminals being hung in a public square often served as a warning to others to stay in line, it's own sacrifice for the greater good and appease authority. Given that the brother reflects this, it makes me think he was to be some kind of sacrifice like the sheep. I'm unsure of any parallels with the rabbit off the top of my head, but the sheep and sacrificial lamb themes are definitely important.
I think when he talks about the underwater part that when something comes out with the water, it’s a human or hammerhead shark because the head looks like a hammer kind of if you look closely
Honestly I’m excited for both games, especially since both games look like they will have co-op in them. My fiancée and I loved Little Nightmares 1 and 2. We took turns in game who was in the “drivers seat”. My fiancée played through the first Little Nightmares, while I played through the second game (I don’t remember which of us played through the first game’s DLC). So I think it will be an awesome full circle moment when these games come out and we can play them together.
What i’ve heard of Reanimal the children are technically in hell, and they are meeting creatures based on their trauma. So this could mean that outside hell they live in a world just like Little Nightmares.
Also in Very Little Nightmares the secret jack in the boxes feature a similar looking girl in a fox mask, and a boy with a sack head like a scarecrow. This is likely an idea they’ve had for a while. Also the monster with hands and babies is likely more a reference to the Demon from Princess Mononoke, and possibly what would happen if you attached the Kodama from the same movie since they have a kinda creepy pale baby look.
@@Tericho I did watch it. Solid vid. I’m just seeing a bunch of other vids like this pop up suggesting there’s a connection somehow and wanted to comment on that in general.
Can’t wait for both of these games, I prefer the darker, more morbid world look of reanimal but I think both worlds are designed masterfully, and LN will always have a special place for me. Great review and theorising as always
Honestly I think that the spider creature looks more like no face during the chase scene in the bath house, especially with how it moves and climbs. Also I think the creature we see tearing the wall at around 6:32 might be the lamb: It seems to have several spindly limbs coming from its back but also human limbs like legs and arms in a more human-esque anatomic structure, similar to the build we see of the lamb around 10:36 it also seems to have a less furry and smoother texture to it in some spots.
11:37 uh did anyone see some of the stitching on the pig burst open and it's intestines start dangling out? also this game kinda gives off zoochosis vibes with these mutant animals loke in zoochosis Edit: 13:30 ok I see why
@@theelementalgriffin2092 this whole monster is basically a mishmash so far, a concept from the art book of the second game, a doll like the bullies and a petrifing eye from the first and on top of that like you said, it's not a deformed human, like seeing how and why the humans are deformed is the best part
@@theelementalgriffin2092 I think the reason it doesn’t work for me is because all the previous enemies have been uncanny through their design and animations, while the baby is just imposing. Being imposing isn’t enough for a good scary design imo
@@christopherlyndsay8611 YES, you’re right, that’s what is missing, I couldn’t pinpoint it, body horror, basically every monster is scary, because it’s a deformed human so the horror comes from the fear that something like this has happened to a fellow human and can happen to you (not literally, but you understand what I mean), that’s why the monsters who doesn’t follow that formula are not the main ones, bullies, living hands etc, by applying this to the main monster the affect of body horror is lost and that has always been what makes LN scary, imposing isn’t enough always, well said
tbh i think the rope around the mc with the bag is symbolic for the animals that are put into bags and drowned in waters (kittens and dogs f.e.). Would also make sense considering water is such an important part in the game.
I think those are not kids, they look more like teenagers due to the more taller bodies they have compared to the Little Nightmares protagonists. I'd love them to be teens cause that would mean the protagonists have matured along with the games, giving us a more "adult" kind of experience. I'm really eager to see this new game and I really hope this dethrones Little Nightmares as my favourite horror game
If I had to guess what REANIMAL was about I would say it is that Animals mutated and humans just plummeted to the bottom of the food chain and that could be cool
I actually think the Brother's hood/mask is actually supposed to be a bear mask, because rabbits and bears have always been associated with one another (and I'm not just talking about Five Nights at Freddy's)
I mean it could be an alternate reality or something, but I do think they’re seperate. However it does seem to be a spiritual successor to Reanimal, in which reflects Tarsier’s true anticipations. If you want to connect them, then I’d say The Nowhere is kind of like a limbo zone, and wherever Reanimal is set, is some type of Hell - since hell is a very emphasised word in the description.
It reminds of a saying where if you kill animals and bugs in this life, they will come back for revenge much larger than you in the next life. Idk where it is from but this is why I didn’t kill spiders growing up. This could definitely be in the same universe just a different nightmarish world based on their real life experiences. I imagine kids who grew up on butcher farms where they saw a lot of cruelty and of course the reference to the book “Animal Farm”
I could test Booth games demos at Gamescom. Little nightmares 3 looked like they just took the city from little nightmare 2 and put new "adults" in it and changed it to a desert... Reanimal had those chase scenes from little nightmare 1 & 2. Yes Booth games are not finished and I saw just a bit (puzzle vs chase scene) but I had a better feeling in reanimal Edit: children in reanimal are also enemies :D
I feel like they took a huge inspiration from the movie, Annihilation. Cuz you can see that the animals have some human features, like having a human arm and you can see a pig standing up like a human. You can sort of see as well that the humans in this game sort of acts like an animal, but you know what I mean
I think that I am more interested in what Tarsier does than what Bandai does with LN.. part of the reason why I’m more excited for Reanimal than LN3 But they both look like incredibly fun games

Oh nice easter egg 😆
nice one
Jawsometastic easter egg Yo yeehaw!
Ngl I didn’t see pig ears they didn’t flop they could be more or less pointy like ears
Sheep is also a symbol of a sacrafice - and that can be a major spoiler to ending and fate of one of the playable characters in my opinion.

Animal Farm from the humans perspective is crazy.
The pig did made me think snowball vibes
I think the line at the end of the trailer which says "I thought you were dead" is reminiscent to "Pet Sematary" where the characters come back to life but they aren't the same. They could have actually died, but were brought back to life by this evil force.

I feel there is some form of multiverse set within a reality connected to narratives like Little Nightmare. A vast dark ocean that has themes tied to one another.
They may not be connected to each other due to companies but their themes are. Then again, that is a fan theory.

How I see it is, is that Little Nightmares was Tarsier taking a dip in the waters. Their beginning. Reanimal is their magnum opus. Not what other companies have asked for them to do, but THEIR ideas.

That spider monster doesnt make me see a soot spirit, it reminds me of no face when he gets all hungry and tries to get Chihiro.
I was thinking of that boar monster that was used in the scene that inspired the first Breath Of The Wild trailer. same rounded front with no visible face, similar fur pattern, loads of human-like arms, and it even moves similarly from what i could see.
@@raptorsuedemondrake4143 Yeah I saw that was well.
Him and the hunter could have teamed up to bring back dead animals, using the hunters taxidermy and the doctors power to bring things to life.
great theory tbh. wouldn’t be surprised if they make an appearance!
Reanimal feels more like Little Nightmares III then the actual Little Nightmares III.
I thought the same thing but it is the original designers/ creators making reanimal so that makes e sense lol
I know right? It's almost like different studios have different approachs towards the same game and we should reserve our judgement for when we actually get to play it.

It's funny how the moment Supermassive Games posted another trailer for Little Nightmares 3, Tarsier Studios here just rushes in and steals their thunder, it's like:
Supermassive; Heyy, guys. We were very busy on this game we've had the responsibility of developing, we have a new trailer out, so I hope you like it-
Tarsier: Halo! We have new game out! It's about children... Running away from monsters! No, not LIttle Nightmare, what are you talking about? Anyway hope you like!
And the fans rush to the Reanimal trailer.

I've just been binge watching your videos ever since I found out about your channel, which was... today...

I couldn’t explain why it was so scary but the sheep in this game kind of is a good example of why it scared me
Whether or not the games are connected, I'm super amped for both of them I can't wait. But Six better be SOMEWHERE I swear
No, she can't... get over it
Why? So they ruin her story? It's better if she doesn't appear
@@СтефаноНачев
Are you talking about Supermassive ruining her story or just LN in general?
@@malekat8539 let’s hope they don’t ruin both
idk i feel like six and mono will meet again because at the end of the RA trailer you hears a girls voice and if you go and listen to sixs ois and what ever in LN2 they sound hella familer so maybe six and mono meet again and six says I thought you was dead and I think reanimal is a secret LN4 but hey those or just some theory
I cannot wait for this game! Tarsier Studios never disappoints. I also think that the team has taken inspiration from George Orwell's "Animal Farm"
Any game coming from them is always convincingly fire.
I think the “Re-“ in the title Reanimal refers to “return”. Like return to animal more so than being reanimated. I think we will see people devolving into animals.
Another Ghibli stable, like the parents in Spirited Away turning into pigs
I'm so excited for this and LN3, they both look incredible.
It's the fact that as soon as everyone saw the Reanimal trailer
No one is talking about Little Nightmares anymore
Everyone is making Reanimal videos just like Beaver who was a very big fan of the LN franchise
It's normal for people to be excited for something new. Plus the new LN trailer didn't really show off anything that new or exciting. I'm sure when it gets closer to release everyone will be excited for it again.
@@Tericho yeah...I hope they're just hiding the real horror in LN3 which will probably scar us for life

@@JoksterFox "excuse" no one gotta pretend to show appreciation over another game to keep people from being bad
I’d love to see some huge aquatic animals. Like crabs fish and lobsters. Also maybe the second spider breaking through the wall is a type of crab?
Rather than that spider beast being a nod to the soots, I think it looks a lot like that demon/tatarigami of the god Nago in the beginning of Princess Mononoke, with the multiple humanoid arms and big furry like body... What do y'all think?
If they don't use a horse as the water enemy they missed a huge opportunity to run with the kelpie vibe
"Hey are you a wolf sheep's clothing or a human wearing a sheep costume?"
"Nah, Reanimal."
"What?..."
So happy to see a you covering this; loved your theories on the Little Nightmares universe and now we get LN3 and Reanimal and I am so excited!
Had no idea about REANIMAL, so thank goodness I've been on a binge of all things LN. I can't wait for this release!
I still need you to do some theories and explore the sounds of nightmares
Great video, it sucks they don’t have the rights to little nightmares but if we get a game like this where their ideas can run wild I’m all for it especially if it’s an open world (exploring with boat) as well
I find it crazy that some of the Little Nightmares games took some inspiration from Spirited Away. Little nightmares is my favorite game and Spirited Away is my favorite animated movie, I can’t believe I never connected the dots!! 😂
The "spider" creature gives me huge No Face vibes when he's chasing Chihiro around the bath house in Spirited Away. So cool! This game looks awesome
The Smiling man holding a resemblance to the Pale City attire tho.
One of my first thoughts while watching the trailer was how the dude dragging a body inside the cinema looks like one of the TV corrupted people from LN 2, and made my own head Cannon they are in the same universe, but in a very different location from LN 2 and LN 1
Edit: upon further inspection of the trailer the dude dragging the body has a face, unlike the TV people.
Imagine finding six in reanimal
That would be absolute banger than the LN3 itself
To be honest LN universe is so interesting so I wish reanimal is in the same universe
@@SilverMere20 what i think is that they purposely handed little nightmare 3 to other company to make the game so that they can make this game at the same time. With the purpose of making it connected and more impactful to the storytelling of the LN universe
Why are people still going with the idea that the 2 games are connected somehow. They aren't Tarsier specifically mentioned this being in a NEW world.
@@malekat8539idk, we saw a sinema in the trailer, meanwhile the Tvs in LN are first generation, obviously the same universe
And then a couple hours later after this video came out, we got a trailer for Little Nightmares 3 on IGN.
I wonder if the lamb would be a former childhood pet of the siblings?
I am more excited for Reanimal than Little Nightmares, despite loving the first two titles from Tarsier
It could be! I think it's definitely made to look like an animal of some kind!
I like your theory though.
"New world. Emphasize on NEW." Y'all don't listen 😭😭😭
And you didn't watch the video. I clear this up in the literal intro.
I’ve watched your vids and realized how much I’ve missed this type of content on my yt timeline
6:05 Couldn't it be a sheep, already ? That could explain this dream-like scene. Just like people are told to count sheep to sleep, the sheep could put the child in a semi-sleep-like state (which is made even easier by the presence of a bed).
I think that spider monster represents No Face when he was in his food coma ahh form than the little soot sprites 😭
I genuinely think it's a combination of both. No Face is completely smooth and has a mask, whereas the soot sprites look "furry" and don't really have a face either.
@@Tericho I didn’t think of it that way!!
If you look behind the snake like skin you can notice there is a snack like creature with a human head coming up behind them
I can't help but think of "sacrificial lamb" in regards to the sheep and wonder what that will symbolize in the game, especially with how prevalent the sheep imagery is.
10:10 you know what this big table reminds me.... alice in wonderland tea party with the mad hatter and other characters
I think when he talks about the underwater part that when something comes out with the water, it’s a human or hammerhead shark because the head looks like a hammer kind of if you look closely
HELL YES! I am SO here for this! It has been such a good year for horror! So glad horror is getting clever and mysterious again!!!
honestly i’m excited for both LN3 and reanimal, these both have potential

It could be the prequel to the events of little nightmares just like prometheus was to the Alien movies
@@onlyacomentarynothingspeci2419 it’s not in the same universe, the devs confirmed it
Honestly I’m excited for both games, especially since both games look like they will have co-op in them.
Also the monster with hands and babies is likely more a reference to the Demon from Princess Mononoke, and possibly what would happen if you attached the Kodama from the same movie since they have a kinda creepy pale baby look.
the creature at 5.01 looks quite similar to nagos demon form from princess mononoke.
nago being the boar that attacks ashitakas village.
Bandai isn’t publishing reanimal. There may be Easter eggs but there’s gonna be huge legal issues if they tried to make a direct connection. 🤷🏻♂️

11:54 the big fuzzy spider just looks like the other half of the big lamb's body was taken off
Can’t wait for both of these games, I prefer the darker, more morbid world look of reanimal but I think both worlds are designed masterfully, and LN will always have a special place for me. Great review and theorising as always
7:04 that pig really reminds me of little nightmares 2 concept art
Honestly I think that the spider creature looks more like no face during the chase scene in the bath house, especially with how it moves and climbs.
Also I think the creature we see tearing the wall at around 6:32 might be the lamb: It seems to have several spindly limbs coming from its back but also human limbs like legs and arms in a more human-esque anatomic structure, similar to the build we see of the lamb around 10:36 it also seems to have a less furry and smoother texture to it in some spots.
5:47 from what I can see, that creature has a deer skull, I think. There’s empty spaces and gapping that remind me of that kind of skull
11:37 uh did anyone see some of the stitching on the pig burst open and it's intestines start dangling out?
also this game kinda gives off zoochosis vibes with these mutant animals loke in zoochosis
Edit: 13:30 ok I see why
I’ve been pretty disappointed in what I’ve seen of LN3 so far, but Reanimal seems to fill that void perfectly
Thank you! I lowkey hate the fact we’re basically getting a giant porcelain baby as the main threat instead of deformed looking humanoid monsters.
@@theelementalgriffin2092 this whole monster is basically a mishmash so far, a concept from the art book of the second game, a doll like the bullies and a petrifing eye from the first and on top of that like you said, it's not a deformed human, like seeing how and why the humans are deformed is the best part
@@СтефаноНачев I also remember the trailer also teasing humanoid background characters/potential enemies too.
Super hyped for this game and all the analysis videos :D
5:12 I would say it closer resembles No Face from Spirited Away when he gobbles up all the food and some of the people in the bath house
I just love the uncanny valley of prey animals acting like predators
I'm probably more excited for this than Little Nightmares III tbh
the guy on the bike reminds me of the guy in the wheelchair in very little nightmares
the man on the tricycle reminds me a lot of the cycling man from the City of Metronome
Love your videos! Your content is something I look forward too
It reminds of a saying where if you kill animals and bugs in this life, they will come back for revenge much larger than you in the next life. Idk where it is from but this is why I didn’t kill spiders growing up. This could definitely be in the same universe just a different nightmarish world based on their real life experiences. I imagine kids who grew up on butcher farms where they saw a lot of cruelty and of course the reference to the book “Animal Farm”
7:30 the orangutan on a tricycle chasing a girl feels alot different now does it?"
Tericho make a video about sounds of nightmares please 😌
I could test Booth games demos at Gamescom. Little nightmares 3 looked like they just took the city from little nightmare 2 and put new "adults" in it and changed it to a desert...
Reanimal had those chase scenes from little nightmare 1 & 2.
Yes Booth games are not finished and I saw just a bit (puzzle vs chase scene) but I had a better feeling in reanimal
Edit: children in reanimal are also enemies :D
Can we please just let Tarsier break off from LN and make something original 😭😭
I feel like they took a huge inspiration from the movie, Annihilation. Cuz you can see that the animals have some human features, like having a human arm and you can see a pig standing up like a human. You can sort of see as well that the humans in this game sort of acts like an animal, but you know what I mean
I think that I am more interested in what Tarsier does than what Bandai does with LN.. part of the reason why I’m more excited for Reanimal than LN3
But they both look like incredibly fun games
