Does anyone know how to enable object parenting in the decorator? I remember Key adding something like this in the changelog, but i never figured out how the hell it's supposed to work
could you elaborate on what you mean by object parenting? it sounds as if you are referring to the link feature, found right after the color in the "Current Furniture" section in the decorator. This feature allows you to link the colorings of same types of furniture to each other when lit green. as far as i can tell you can only link one color per furniture and cannot link 2 different types of furniture.
I’m trying to make a type 40 Tardis and I’m having trouble with the doors . How do you get the door way the area where you enter the Tardis the type 40 doors how do I put the walls down without running into the doors ? I’m sorry if this is hard to understand.
as Giancarlo put it, the scroll wheel will adjust the pivot point of the parts you wish to move. To elaborate on his answer, whatever part is in front of your mouse when you click the scroll wheel will become the new pivot point, and if you wish to reset the pivot point used either change the method of movement or repress the movement keybind and it will reset.
change the color of the corridor and use link to prevent them all from changing. if two corridors are the same color they link to eachother (not colorlink, teleport link)
as Name-Fo put it, change the color of the teleporters, and when they say use the link function, they mean to change the link button from green to white to disable the linking of the colors.

as somebody else replied, you can use teleporters to transfer players from one corridor to another. as for corners to make corridors turn, im not seeing a built in neon corridor intersection so you would have to make it from scratch that way
@@giancarloparlato4283 they mean that different pieces of furniture have different textures on them to make them look more like wood, metal, or other materials. however the answer to their question is that you sadly cannot change the textures given to furniture already in the game

hey there, you'll find that in the "current furniture" list at the very top there are four things you cannot delete: Console, Exit, Spawn Location, and TARDIS Spot. The last one there is the pad that you can move around and specify where a Tardis may land in yours. If you are still finding that a tardis cannot land in yours, find the red light labelled InnerMaterialization and click on it until it turns green

when you say doors, do you mean ones that function or ones that look good? ones that function are built into the game . the way i got those ones in the office to open the way they do is to turn them sideways. as for ones that look good, they are typically made meticulously with lots of little parts, and the ones you can walk into to go to another room they hide teleporters in the door so that when you walk into it you teleport.
do you mean as an alternative to a private server? cause private servers both keep people out and they prevent you from lagging out the people in other servers as very often opening the decorate menu causes a lot of lag for others in the server since it separates all of the parts and is generally not optimized

teleporters are colour based, so they have to be the same to take it to another teleporter
