Movies back then were absolutely magical, in storytelling and scope. The beautiful scores were final icing on the cake 🎂. There's no magic or inspiration anymore 😢, seems to be all be political and personal agendas and corporate profit. I've noticed that most movies scores sounds very generic with "NO" heart or emotions. I really want to bringing the back those types of movies that I grew up with ever since I was toddler and younger ages in 2000s era with more "Absolutely Magical", "Storytelling" and "Scope". Even more "Heart and Emotion".

@@iandanielcassidy8126 every word you wrote here is 100% fact. I don't watch movies nowadays, last watched movies back in 2011-12. But even back then I used to watch movies made in 1990s or older or even from early 2000s. Those movies had stories in them, morals which u need to know for how life works. Every movie had some reality in them. Those weren't for everyone like u said, but those were meaningful. It's really sad how nowadays we can't find them. And I am very happy that people really are understanding what kind of propaganda they are running. Just hoping they get their lesson. But I am afraid we might not get those days again, as now everything has to be politically checked, or have to have vulgarity in them to sell the show. I just looked at the trailer of 2022 remake of pinocchio, that had a bald, black lady as a fairy. Like really, it doesn't even match te original story. They just put a black lady there for the sack of diversity crap. And me myself is from South Asia, that's how I feel about it.
2D animation will never die off. In fact, in recent years, it has only gotten more popular than CGI animation. There is a way to save Disney, but it requires patience and determination to take back the magic of the company. I hope I can succeed in the end.
I know why I know never to give up and keep dreaming. It's because of this movie. This movie taught me that it's okay to have big dreams, because if you work hard, they might come true. Watching this and many other Disney films also helped me realize what I want to do when I'm older, so I'm grateful for all the wonderful movies.

I certainly hope that when Pinocchio is released on the Platinum DVD line (it's been planned for it for a long time), it gets a MUCH longer "making-of" documentary than this one, like say one clocking in at least half an hour.
Does anyone realize that there are many portions of Mark Elliot's narration in this that originally had been said by Robby Benson in a 1992 Theatrical Re-Release Documentary for Pinocchio when the movie had been released then?
Elabari...Snow White is a fairy tale that has versions in almost all European countires. The Brothers Grimm pieced together their definitve tale based on bits and pieces from them. Carlo Collodi originally wrote Pinocchio (late 1800's). Disney adapted each of the stories to make them better suited for animation.
Tell me about it. We must be really glad that Walt had a reputation for enforcing rationally strict wholesome standards upon the company so that CLASSY teens and young adults that are easily shunned these days can enjoy them too!
I wonder how this all-too-short special will stack up against the seemingly more solid look at the movie coming out on the upcoming Platinum DVD? That one will beat this one handily, I'll bet.
