I don’t who said “sarcasm is lowest form of wit”, but I think they were on to something.!
He has managed to acquire this sort of legendary cheesy status but the fact is that Rick has a phenomenal voice. His tone is rich with tremendous depth and soul. I’m a fan and I think he just gets better as he gets older. I think he’s certainly more relaxed and confident than he was when he actually came on to the music scene.
I feel as if he has a lot of fun doing this type of stuff and it shows when he does performances. I believe the long break he took after he made a proverbial boat load of money really helped his disposition at this time in his life.
He was just 21 when he broke so it's easy to see why. He's always had a great voice though. If he wasn't a pop singer he'd be able to show it a lot more.
George Ezra of the 80s. Imagine 30 years from now, we will remember George as the kid with the deep voice. Just like how our parents remembered Rick.
