That's fair - I'm ok with it; as simple covers go it's nice - and far from being ruined - but it's not a patch on the original. @@humamali10

Please release the performance of “half as good as you” he did that morning. Simply forced me to cry, it was futile to resist the tears. Best live version of that song by far with live choir and would absolutely love to hear it again.
Perfection is a hard thing to achieve , but this comes petty damn close what a fantastic job he did on this great song.

This performance left me feeling alive and happy and when the backing singer sung by themselves i had goosebumps and it was amazing, thank you beautiful so glad Jenna Coleman was late and JLC was such a hoot.

I fell in love with Billy Joel in the late eighties, he was pulling a string within me that was killing me softly. Tom is tugging at the same string. Listening to him playing Pianoman is my personal overkill.

Probably because he couldn't play it. The time and rhythm is all wrong too.
It's probably because they told him to leave it out. They cut the song so it's standard radio length.
A ‘quite good’ performance (thanks to the choir) of a truly great song. Strip the choir away and this would be very average.

You can have your own taste but dreadfully out of tune? I realize this isn't a good day for him and not a great song choice to be honest but come on. He is always passionate and emotional when he sings and that's how he sings.
