Glad to have you aboard! Pretty jealous of your home lake, lots of double digit bass in those waters

A couple of differences to keep in mind: The Kraken doesn't come with a foot pedal ($300) or the shaft stabilizer ($100). Great information in your video. I'm torn between the Force 57" and the Kraken 63" myself. Both seem like quite nice options for my boat.

I have broken 3 ropes on the Garmin force and it’s not a rope, but it’s a cable. I carry a spare. I’m amazed someone has not had a major injury with this

A lure is not going to get hung up on the force cable

I’m not an expert on the Force, but have had 3. The kraken will be a duplicate of the best force. The force started off shaky, simply because it is almost over-engineered. It’s a great motor , but it has taken a few years to get there

What's the best trolling motor for Excel Catfish Pro 2175 with 150 Yamaha? I'm thinking about Kraken Pivoit.

With that thick rail on the front and wide beam width you could either way, it looks like you don’t need the longer shaft the kraken comes with and to be honest the motor sticking out past the bow on mine kinda sucks having to modify the cover. If the picture of the excel catfish 2172 are like your 2175 I’d probably go with the original scissor type force rather than the kraken so I didn’t have that long shaft to deal with and nothing sticking over the bow when it’s stowed. Just my opinion, have a great day!!
