How can you use livescope in anchor mode? Surely it can only work when trolling and can only show you the direction the motor is facing? Same with the inbuilt GT56, ie. if the spot lock has the motor facing slightly to port there no way to use livescope to starboard, and surely a spinning sidescan is just crazy.
any chance it does active track with fish like the drones do ? so just lock on a fish have a preset distance to keep from it and then let the motor chase the fish ?

I hope that wireless pedal is built better that the last one. We're now in a day and age of $4K trolling motors, so there shouldn't be a DAMN-thing (pardon my French) on these motors that aren't built well. There were problems with the first gen of these. If they got that fixed, this will be the best on the market. *That said, if Minn Kota has re-designed their cheaper lines so much so they're competitive with the elite models, then I think a LOT of weekend-warriors will be opting for those. But, my worry is that the new generation of Minn-kota "affordable" models, will got up in price. I hope that's not the case.* This looks very promising.
I hate that type of deploy/stow. I have a mk terrova and despise it The supposed better gps and anchor lock is the only reason I would even think about this one.
I am sorely disappointed in this new toy. I don't use poles and i don't want to spend another 5K so I can hook them up to my Kraken. I will continue to use Minn Kota Terrova trolling motors for my pontoon boat. If I wanted to use power poles I would not need a trolling motor with anchor technology. My Garmin Force needed improvement in the holding, following a route, and staying on a constant direction before it needed a special place to attach my livescope. I won't use a motor mounted transponder anyway. A beatdown allows you to chose where you are looking instead of letting at the trolling motor decide. In fact, I think it was ill-conceived to make that a selling point. I don't care that you can run the cable for your livescope through the shaft of your new Kraken, I will always use a separate system to operate my livescope. OR maybe switch to Mega 360
you don't have to have any skill, you don't have to know shit, all you got to do is push the easy button. and replace being a knowledgeable fishermen with BIG dollars. AND FOR SURE IT'S GOING TO BREAK!!!

Pretty sure this thing is going to cost more than my boat does
Over priced because Garman need all the money they can get now that nobody buys car GPS systems anymore... Cayman Haswing for me.
About 4k right now if you buy the foot pedal with it. The foot pedal is a separate cost.
@@phil-1115Yep. A little over 4k with the separately sold foot pedal.

Nice!
Great features, sucks it took this long to get this on market. Bass anglers were the brushless beta testers, and us deep v fishers were left behind.
