My two world colliding: Christina and Jeff. They influence me greatly. Because they both sing from a place unknown-they call it the soul, but I think it’s something else. It’s a place of pain and passion. Either way, what comes out of their mouths is bombastic, versatile and just inhuman. I wonder how much of him she actually knows. Not much, I think.
There was one opinion piece on The Guardian that called Jeff “the Christina Aguilera of alternative rock” and I cringed.

@Graham S I can’t tell if you’re being serious. If so, Christina Aguilera is arguably the most famous female pop singer of the last 25 years, next to Mariah Carey. Adam Levine is the lead singer of the band, Maroon 5, who also has had plenty of fame, over the course of the last two decades.
