Rolex is the Louis Vuitton of watches. It is not the Hermes, which is more of a Patek Philipe. Which is to say, Rolex is aspirational luxury but not true luxury. This is my fav sports business channel
Now this is a cool video, after reviewing a lot of watches I can definitely agree with your take on it!
Can you do a video on the rise of Hummel? They seem to have come out of nowhere with Everton, Villa and Denmark deals
Its a retro brand like Fila, its always been there somewhere
Out of nowhere? They made some of the most iconic kits when I was a kid in the 80s. Denmark. Tottenham Hotspur, Coventry when they won the FA cup.
@@danpreston564 Yeah fair enough, just in my (short) lifetime I haven’t seen them with many deals at all
I wanna see a business and marketing strategy breakdown of this channel 😂😂😤
I have a better question
Is that your real voice because God it's soo deep and sounds sooo good and part of the reason why I wanna come back and watch your videos every week
instead of an animated watch ticking like it was quartz movement, more subtle and powerful messaging could be conveyed with the animated watch ticking with the sweeping motion of an automatic watch.
Well, after watching F1 for more than five decades I still don't desire to associate myself with the Rolex look-at-me-crowd who couldn't mention three other watch brands if their lives depended on it.
Great video!
Your channel is the heaven for sports lovers like me thank you for what you are doing sir🙏❤️
Thank you!
5:26 Are we going to ignore that goofy ahh salute?
Rolex is the Louis Vuitton of watches. It is not the Hermes, which is more of a Patek Philipe. Which is to say, Rolex is aspirational luxury but not true luxury. It is the most visible brand that ordinary people try and save up to own. It is the first watch people splurge on once they come to acquire some money. In that sense it is a bit of a lesser brand. A new money brand.
This is the only channel where I don't skip the sponsor segment. Its all in his voice and accent.
Outstanding video as always. I didn't know Rolex were not for profit. I'm very impressed by that.
Incidentally, I wear a Lorus in my videos - I'm still waiting for watch sponsorship 😅
its very easy to become a not for profit in switzerland
This channel may be based in Europe, but I wonder if you could attempt to make a video on USA Stadiums and how they are public or privately funded. The new So-Fi Stadium in Los Angeles is a shiny new one that can be a good jump-off point. Keep up the great work. I am very much a fan.
I love that accent so much that I watched the skillshare ad just to listen him narrate it.😂
Same😁
Dd you love because you relate to it more
your animations is just out of this world
Expected videos on Messi and Ronaldo transfers. Would love to watch it. All positive n negative points.
1:56 I'm 15 and i use a watch. Taking my phone out of my pocket, looking at it, and putting it back is much more effort then holding up my wrist and seeing the time.
We don't deserve this level of production for free 🙏🏾
this was absolutely incredibly well made
I love watching this channel because of narrator’s voice!
Great video but the ticking watch transition really bugged me. It glides
I'm a simple man, I see Max Verstappen I click the video
5:27 Never thought I’d see Tango in a Rolex video 🦉
Would you try making a video on how skillshare produces (excellent) youtubers like yourself and many others who in turn benefit skillshare itself?
Man i live this Channel. Real information, great visualisation and enough depth into different topics without overdoing it.
I love how they re strategized to stay relevant through the years and presently still appeal to a generation that hardly uses watches for time keeping. P.s amazing video always A.I
its just like Gucci and other fashion brands, and even apple. it sells you a product that isnt actually worth a fortune but convinces you that it shows to the others that you have so much disposable income that you can squander in something very expensive that you dont actually need or can find much more cheaper, because that apeals to the very human nature of showing of in order to be found more atractive to the eyes of possible mates, in order to pass on your genes to the next generation.
this is just like the european nobility that started to have huge gardens with grass to show that they were so rich that they could have all that land producing only grass.
Excellent Thumbnail couldn't stop myself from Clicking Simple but it Works
Because rollex unlike Footballers don't scream in pain like children anytime someone takes the ball away from them
Amazing quality as always. Would love to share this videos with my dad, but he doesn’t speak English. Would love Spanish subs! Plus, you could have a bigger reach with the Spanish speaking market which is huge!
6:42 They "donate" the rest of the money to launder them. Like most mainstream charities.
Whoever made the intro at 0:08 should be told that on Rolex watches the seconds hand glides and doesn't tick along, just like the one in the background at 0:54. Great video though!
5:35 “sports for the masses” shows a guy doing a Nazi salute with an England flag next to him
"a crown for every achievement", what a great tagline
even though, still i use omega
"Every time I put on my Rolex, it reminds me of those great moments. It also reminds me that if you do not work hard, somebody else will, and they eventually will pass you."
Damn.
You look like the answer to the question: How would Kim Jong Un look if he was thin and part of an unsuccessful K-pop band?
I'm just here for this guys voice ☺️☺️
Football lover cant afford Rolex mostly
you can't afford a rolex too
@FeRoOOo71 So i can just play football..
@@airhog_ita learn English before replying
@@FeRoOOo71 he didn't make any grammatical mistake, did he?
Please do a video on the transfer of Ronaldo from Juventus to Manchester United.
I'm sure it would be a fascinating and informative one.
I'll still take an Omega 😉
Having worked ok both, omega has the better watches these days, no doubt.
I love the Seamasters.
Waiting for the day where I can see your Spotify tab in the video - but with my music on haha
Now that I heard of the business model, I see Rolex as an association that actually knows how to deal with money. Comparing to other associations who only know to ask for donation and are always on the verge of collapsing. This one permit people to work and earn money and still achieve his goal by donating to charity. It produces it's own money where other ones takes money from others work indefinitely
1.25 "It's only watch maker to make the forbs list of most valuable brands"
Dude there is CARTIER right beside Porsche. correct it
I’m a simple man:
I see Roger on a Thumbnail - I click
You look like a good argument for a lesbian woman to remain lesbian
400k ! Underrated Channel.
I remember when my dad told me that you can always tell how a person is refined by the watch they wear... He loves sporting his Rolex lol
Much like most of the people in this comments section, I'm in love with the animations and music. But it's the narration that keeps bringing me back here!
Because Football is the sport of the Peoples, Rolex knows we aint rich.
You even run naked on the field!
Very Cool Channel! I'm a Marketing Professor in Paraguay and I view this channel and his video with my students to shared the knowledge and my love for sports! Thank You!
The 20 dollar waterproof Casio brand digital wrist watch I bought about 8 years ago is still going strong on the same battery that it came with.
And...?
@@iancxy1805 your mom
i love the way you do your videos and produce it every detail! i analyze it always carefully and learn a lot tbh
Thank you, Ibrahim! 🙂
"Spend several thousand on a mass produced watch" - well said. Rolex just shows status, there's are a myriad of better options in the watch industry.
Hey... it's still a Rolex. Maybe go wack off to that handmade brand which no one's ever heard of in your home, right?
You look like a younger version of Pac-Man when he was still balding and going through a hipster phase
