We have been a recession for a while. We are nearing a depression unless something drastic starts happening soon. I have been buying from Azure Standard for years and it is where a massive amount of our bulk food comes from. We have a "grocery store" room in our home. We have three upright freezers and a massive chest freezer filled to capacity at all times. Also two refrigerators. I home can SO much food. I am in the process of putting up ten bushels of purple hull peas and baby lima beans in the freezer. We keep 12-18 months supply of all food, cleaning supplies, toiletries, first aid, etc. It's just me, my husband and youngest adult child in the home now. We have always lived a life of being prepared and stocked well. We had a whole house back up generator installed about five years ago so I have no concerns of having so much meat/vegetables in several freezers. We buy all of our meat from a local farmer and my husband is a hunter. It's just wise to be prepared for the many things out of our control. As long as the food is stored properly, used, rotated and replaced, it makes sense. It is not foolish and also should not be done out of fear but out of common sense. Only the foolish are not prepared.

I just found your channel and I'm watching all your older videos. I'm in Ohio and I get the biggest laugh when a snow storm is coming and they all rush to the store. I could probably last a couple months with the food in my pantry and freezer. Keep the videos coming, I enjoy watching you and your family.

I’m also with you on the cosmic apples. lol. It’s just my husband and I. We bought a box last month and another is coming next week. They will store for months, if they last that long, in the fridge for me.
