Love the scriptures in the background. I found a recipe for homemade laundry detergent. I mainly use Free and Clear kinds due to my sensitivity issues but in the stores they are getting too $$. The DIY recipes with the bars of soap with chemicals is messy and time consuming..lol The recipe I found was this: 1/2 cup of Epsom salt (to clean & freshen) 1/4 cup of sea salt ( soften water) 1 1/2 cups of baking soda ( natural softener) 1 1/2 cups of washing soda/soda ash/sodium carbonate ( natural cleaner) 20-25 drops of essential oils such as eucalyptus, mints, or/and citrus flavors ( opt) Mix all ingredients. Store in a glass jar with a lid. Use 1 Tablespoon /load Use 2 Tablespoons for heavily soiled or a larger load. Note: Add powder directly to the clothes and not in the drawer of washing machine. WARNING: Soda Ash has PH11. Do not touch with skin nor inhale it. Use gloves and a face mask in a well ventilated room when mixing. I bought the soda ash from Azure, the epsom salt from Amazon, and the baking soda from Costco. My water here is salty enough living in the South near the water and the private company that filters the water uses salt to soften it up..I digress I calculated in all of my expenses that it costs me $0.05/load.
I like azure. I’ve ordered from them for about a year. We have a milk cow so I make all our cheese at home. The main thing we’re getting from them right now is wheat berries for bread. Costco is also a good source for bulk. I did a video a while back on a shopping trip. Those are fun
Yes you can! I haven’t done it personally but I’ve heard you definitely can. That’s part of the reason I buy the smaller packets of cheese instead of the big log because it doesn’t go bad for awhile as long as you don’t open it.
