I love those molds, you’re the reason I got my first one and wrote an email to DO IT to make sure they knew why. So far I have the Icraw and the wave worm, the slick shiner is next. That’s all due to you.
Dude that’s awesome! Thank you for sending that email. That’s really cool that you did that. The slick shiner is my favorite i think. The wave worm gets bit!
Awesome! Thanks for watching and thank you for using the link! Means a lot! Here’s a link to a video I just put out that may help you as well: ua-cam.com/video/sZDQmKM_osQ/v-deo.htmlsi=MasG_Ddi5lvtuCb0
Muy buenas amigo, unos cebos magníficos y los moldes estupendos, mi pregunta es si se podrían adquirir moldes de ese tipo y diferentes modelos ya que aquí en España es imposible conseguirlos. Un saludo
Head over to the Do-It molds site and check out all there molds to get the best one for walleye. I’m not too sure which would be best. Here’s a link to their site: store.do-itmolds.com/?AffId=5
Pretty much all the DoIt molds swimbait molds will work, if i could suggest one, i’d recommend the quakin shad mold. ua-cam.com/video/1-AGK9ilDt4/v-deo.html
Great set up!!!Quick question, can you use Plastisol as a substitute for the Old Mattel Goop? Meaning pouring the plastisol in a flat mold, and cooking it? Thanks, Ive never worked with the stuff
So I'm confused. If you can make the exact same bait in a cheap do it mold than the cnc molds why the huge price difference? What does a 200 dollar mold get you over the same bait but cheaper mold?
The difference is what the molds are made out of. The cost of manufacturing a cnc mold is more than the cast aluminum of the essential series. Both molds have their places. The finish isn’t the same on each bait either. The cnc is a bit more crisp looking than the essential series molds. Personally, I’ve used both types of molds and I don’t think the fish care!
Making your own open pour silicone molds will be cheaper, but if you want a machined mold that makes laminates with this cavity count, I’m unaware of a cheaper way to do. Silicon molds are not even comparable.

I’m going to get into making lures soon. I will make sure to use your link as a thank you for this video

You can make your own mold with your favorite swim bait and “Fix All”. Very easy to do color layering. Not as fast but more satisfying
Like them all. Wave worm was my favorite.
Thanks! That purple came through pretty cool
Love these videos man!
Thank you for watching! Really appreciate it!

Gorgeous baits!!! Love your bait laboratory creations
Thank you!
Absolutely love the baits bro I was wondering have you used the dual injector to make the craw baits with 2 split colors
Thanks. I’m not sure if i have or not with that mold specifically but it’s set up to do it with ease!
I have used a dual for them, they come out great. Off white belly, brown top. very natural looking.
That sounds like a really cool combo!
Any swimbait mold recommendation for striped bass

What is the stuff that you put you glitter in
It’s called plastisol
I love the molds
They make some good ones for sure!
Great set up!!!Quick question, can you use Plastisol as a substitute for the Old Mattel Goop? Meaning pouring the plastisol in a flat mold, and cooking it? Thanks, Ive never worked with the stuff
Not sure what you’re referring to
Late, but yes. On their website you can buy the plastisol. But that’s what he is using in this video
Hey does the Slick Shiner Essential Series - 8 Cavity molds work with 3/8 ounce 4/0 hook jig heads?
You could probably get away with a 4/0 hook. I haven’t tried myself. Typically i use something smaller.
@@MattLunaFishing thanks so much you've earned a sub
You’re welcome! Thanks for the sub! Appreciate it! Hope you enjoy the channel!
Dude, can you do a video on the man cave? I love the look of those shelfs
Yeah i can probably do that!
@@MattLunaFishing Are they the olympias from home depot?
I got them from harbor freight
This looks almost exactly the same as what i have: amzn.to/3SStwYk
@@MattLunaFishing Oh wow. They are on sale for 100 at harbor freight. Nice. Thanks!
What microwave or whatever it’s called because I wanna be like you and make my own fishing baits and what I need to do so
It’s just a standard microwave
Do we get a discount if we use your link
Not a discount, but it lets them know I sent you to their site and I get credit for the sale.

I have a design for a lure to catch tuna in 15 mins. Don't know to start to patent it.
In order to patent it you’ll need an attorney. Most baits aren’t patented
where do you buy the molds
Buy them here: store.do-itmolds.com/?AffId=5
Cnc molds are crazy good too though
Agreed. I have some of those as well. Some people aren’t wanting to sound cnc money, so these are a great option
@@MattLunaFishing I fully agree…I want to see the new katana craw but they gotta go to I cast and tease us for weeks
I’ve been told It’s gonna be available July 19!
Hello how much time need to wait it cold down ?
Few minutes for sure
@@MattLunaFishing i wanna start doing winter bites smaller than 1in, so i just wondering its less that 10 minutes?
Yeah small baits should be plenty cool in less than 10 min. I’ve never timed it for myself but 2-4 minutes should be good
do you sell the mold?
No i get it here: store.do-itmolds.com/?AffId=5
Good video
Thanks
Is it cheaper to make your own?
It can be. There are start up costs though
ok the title is misleading :P , u cant just buy one hehe dope molds , do-it molds has really step up
Haha. Some of the cheapest multi cavity molds out there!
@@MattLunaFishing I own most of them and love them
Right on! Have you gotten any of the new ones? Katana craw, Bushi beetle?
@@MattLunaFishing I got the craw
Awesome
The amount of bubbles are killing me
The ones on top of the plastisol?
How do you get rid of the bubbles?
You can use a vacuum chamber to suck the bubbles out but i thinks that’s not needed in most situations. I rarely have bubbles in the actual bait.
Nicee
Thank you!
Cheapest? I’d have to buy the not-so-cheap mold..
Compared to what? These are some of the cheapest multi cavity molds on the market.
Definitely not the cheapest way. But a lower price version of the overpriced way. Make your own molds. That's the cheapest way😊
Making your own open pour silicone molds will be cheaper, but if you want a machined mold that makes laminates with this cavity count, I’m unaware of a cheaper way to do. Silicon molds are not even comparable.
