Yessss finally brother its been years Edit: literally sent a screen recording of the intro to 35 people allready 💀 time to find something else haha, been making the cave cricket comment since the earwig was teased
I'm 72 years old and you just CRACK ME UP! I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD! When you showed the "ACTION" in the tank I was dying laughing! Thank you, you are a BRIGHT in my lonely world. Sorry I don't mean to be a Debbie downer. But after my wife passed I don't have many laugh outloud moments and YOU SIR MADE MY DAY
I’d love to see just a basic lizard lure! I think top water would fit it, but I know you’d come up with something good, glad to see more critter creations, keep it up!
I snort laughed so hard I almost choked myself 😂 there was a piece of dust or hair or something on my phone and "fishing" had a "t" in it instead of an "h" 😂😂😂😂😂😂 omg. That was the best laugh I've had in so long. Haha
My wife said her laptop was running slowly, and I said maybe the storage is full, and she said all of her documents are stored on One Drive, and I went “wh-hu-hu-huONE DRIVE” 😂
It’d be cool to see an episode (maybe anniversary special?) with your top 10 … most fish catch’n… yeah; coolest looking.. top 10 best action, etc, etc.
That blowup moment... thats absolute fishing satisfaction... flawless... your own lure... send it there... comment it and seeing it on the camera - BLOW ... and perfect hookup - SUPERB!
Interesting idea I have started using either foam or rubber worm plastic for legs and arms The foam legs are lite and are glued to the plug body For a sinking crawfish plug I made a mold and have been casting the crawfish pinchers out of plastic But I add a strand of stainless wire in the pinchers with a attached #2 single hook I catch a lot of the bass on single hook
If you haven't lived with them, the "fear" seems irrational. They jump at your FACE. Teeth or not, an ugly thing on the floor that jumps at your face is STARTLING! ;)
I built a pretty nifty UV box for finishing the cure on my jigs, 4 60w UV lights and the box has a chrome vinyl on the inside to reflect the light. Cures pretty quick and no worries of debris or bugs 🤙🏻, lights are all wired to one single switch
Looks very nice I love it. My friend and I always watch ur bait videos. We are interested in buy some of ur baits. Anyway ur the best and I want to see u soon cause I'm a major fisherman to. Hahaha. Ur the best and ur creative and very talented on making baits.
Have you heard of a Rainbow Cricket? Their colors are insane. I saw one for the first time in my life out here in Colorado. I know you've now made two cricket lure videos, but you know what they say.. third times a charm!
Hes giving in guys! Me next! Im having to go back to last video everytime to see the amount of videos ive asked for zebra pleco bait! Show us your skills that we love!
Hey brother. I really love your videos. I make baits irregularly. Just finished my first batch in 5 years 😞 😅 but your posts keep me interested in the hobby, and the latest batch are my best by far. I'm sure I absorbed a lot of info from you from my last batch to now so, thank you. I can't remember if you've commented on this before but the line tie on the cricket looked to be pretty far from the lip. The legs on this baby were big but I wonder if moving the line tie right down to the lip would've produced some wobble? 🤷♂️
I hope you can make a wooden (floating) jump frog, wobble frog or bubble frog that we use here in the Philippines and in some other parts of Asia like Thailand and Indonesia. Do it marling baits style. 😁
You should do an old school beer/coke can style lure. I tried making one with props inside that spin to make a noise and some with BBs to make it rattle
Also if you ever revisit. Topwater popper with this shape would be solid. And it would look like a cricket struggling. Especially since the legs keep goin
You should get a polarizer filter for the camera you use to film yourself fishing. It'll remove the water reflections and make it easier to see through the surface.
If u could use that and make a mold for soft plastics in brown. Like i think it would be worth redoing the legs to kinda flap Love ur content bud. Those ponds u go to are insane with food pellets. I been feeding these hubrids for over a year cus their just fighters
I’m gonna need you to make an audiobook on something boring like carburetor data sheets. To fall asleep too. I’m too interested in fishing, but I have fallen asleep to your videos. LOL
I enjoyed the detailed narration about this bug. By the way, I also enjoy the way you speak to the camera. It is unfortunate that you did not use compound eyes on this bug.
This kinda gives me an idea. You should try to make a swim bait with a retractable hook where the hook hides near the end of the tail and when the fish bites, it goes up. Basically a weedless but a hard bait instead of soft bait
Ah yes. The plumbing foreman cricket. They just stare at you while you're under there. They never help. They're not good at ductwork either, but they still sit there and judge you.
Yessss finally brother its been years

That's awesome 👍🏼 congrats on getting a bait shout-out. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
@@nathanhoveyaquatics oh im allready working on it haha

I admire the persistence.

His reaction to the action was priceless! I enjoyed it as well.
I'm glad to see another dog on the channel. I do miss old Chip, I've watched his video 50 times by now.
When you open up UA-cam and see a new video from Marling Baits, ya know it's gonna be a good day. Thanks for everything you do Nate! Cheers brother!
I’d love to see just a basic lizard lure! I think top water would fit it, but I know you’d come up with something good, glad to see more critter creations, keep it up!
A green (Carolina) anole would probably be good! Small little guys but very recognizable!
You’re reawakening my fishing addiction. I blame you for all the fun I’ll have

I love that you're teaching your skills to your kids! So great! He's gonna be an O-fish-al baitmaker for sure! Great bait once again.
Oh my God you just made my day. Thank you!
Riverside cooking makes any day amazing.
Wow. You've come so far from where you started. This is a complicated and detailed lure
I started a job in injection moulding last Monday. You're the reason I even know what it is. 👍 Pretty cool.
Awesome work dude! I'd love to see you make a northern pikeminnow, that's usually what I catch on the river here in the pnw
I love crickets for live bait too.
Side note, your voice is soothing and I commonly fall asleep watching your videos 🤣
Stumbled on your panel via a comment on Reddit. You’ve caught a new subscriber
A flounder lure would be dope!Sideways swimming and all haha
Definitely rate the baits every time. Humans like charts. 📊 😂
You should make the michelin man!!!!!!!!!
I just made my first lure and you were my biggest inspiration.
Big cricket is a great idea. You should do a psychedelic frogfish. It would fun to paint.
I never knew a catfish could pounce so hard! That’s awesome!
Superglue baking soda is back! WOUUUUHOUUUU
This is a great birthday present
Interesting idea

As a fellow Marion resident and amateur mycologist, I love mushrooms. Thanks for spreading those spores so well!
Another super awesome bait can't wait for the next video thank you so much
You should make a Golden Scarab Beetle! It would be an interesting FUN FACTS and I think top water lure would work great!
your lures never disappoint!
As soon as I started watching the video, my wife talked about how much they scare her, then that was a fun fact, love it!
If you haven't lived with them, the "fear" seems irrational.
They jump at your FACE.
Teeth or not, an ugly thing on the floor that jumps at your face is STARTLING!

Always a good day when you post!
I’ve caught fish with green toy army men. You said it you can catch fish with anything. Cave cricket looks great.👍
Demo Ranch had cave crickets for days👍🇺🇸
Like the fun facts. A lot of freaky on this bug lol😂
Been watching for a while… appreciate everything you do! I’d love you to make a leaf lure…….. time for a real fishing challenge
Best bait for trout I've ever used
Went fishing today using a storm minnow swimbait and got 3 very aggressive smallies. Came home to this video it is a good day
Looks very nice I love it. My friend and I always watch ur bait videos. We are interested in buy some of ur baits. Anyway ur the best and I want to see u soon cause I'm a major fisherman to. Hahaha. Ur the best and ur creative and very talented on making baits.
You’ve become my new obsession! Awesome stuff, every video! Any plans to make a RoosterTail? I feel like you could own that.
That was COOL! A Cat On A Cricket Lure! 😎👍
its really awesome to se a lure thats a insect
I think a mudskipper bait would be a cool one they have some nice colors
Very well done!!!
Nate your music taste is the same as mine. Ive heard, Colter, Brent Cobb and all the typical culprits. But RHCP just locked in😂
OHHHHH THE PERFECT ENDING FOR TODAY😍
hear me out for a second...... three piece swimming godzilla bait were the dorsil plate stay on top of the water like in the movies
Have you heard of a Rainbow Cricket? Their colors are insane. I saw one for the first time in my life out here in Colorado. I know you've now made two cricket lure videos, but you know what they say.. third times a charm!
its finally here
love the vids also you should make a 5 inch minnow profile glide
These things plague my basement (NY), neat to see how good of a bait they may prove to be.
Hes giving in guys! Me next! Im having to go back to last video everytime to see the amount of videos ive asked for zebra pleco bait! Show us your skills that we love!

Man been askin for years for the lighting bug lure… u teased me with the led eye bait!!! Can’t wait!!!!
Such a cool bait. Do a Palo Verde beetle next. They live here in Arizona and get to be 4+ inches long.
Hello again Nate, day whatever of asking you to come to northern Minnesota and fish here!
The tourretes guy reference was amazing
Maybe try a mole cricket. These things are crazy looking I have them on out garden.. They will eat all the seedling from the roots up.
I hope you can make a wooden (floating) jump frog, wobble frog or bubble frog that we use here in the Philippines and in some other parts of Asia like Thailand and Indonesia. Do it marling baits style. 😁
One of the first 5000 to view 🎉
Love the baits and videos keep rocking it😉
I want the hat lol hell yea it's about time
Loving the content bro
Thank you very much good sir!!! I appreciate it dude.
You should probably make a cicada before the year is out. Seeing as this year is so big for cicadas...
You should do an old school beer/coke can style lure. I tried making one with props inside that spin to make a noise and some with BBs to make it rattle
You should make the Australian Fish, dusky flathead. They have a pretty funny shape which I think would make a great video.
There's also a lot of info for fun facts
its 12 at night in europe, perfect before a good night’s sleep
thankful
Also if you ever revisit. Topwater popper with this shape would be solid. And it would look like a cricket struggling. Especially since the legs keep goin
"even if it looks like it could leave the orbit" 😂😂 thanks Nate, i spit coffee on the floor!! 😂
My man is back!
Marlin love the videos, would you do a wooden wake bait lizard with a soft plastic limbs and swirly tail ?
You should get a polarizer filter for the camera you use to film yourself fishing. It'll remove the water reflections and make it easier to see through the surface.
Watching on my phone. Going to switch this to the big screen on the computer one day
I love the idea of you giving a “_-fishal” rating to each of your new baits, that’s cool!
I’d love to see a copperhead soft plastic now!
Hi love the lures and one day I hope I am as good as you
Nice segmentation 😊😊
*gets UA-cam notification*
*sees Marling Baits* (most exciting thing ever)
*slowly dies from internal fear of cave crickets*
AHHHH BOB SAGET!!!
If u could use that and make a mold for soft plastics in brown. Like i think it would be worth redoing the legs to kinda flap Love ur content bud. Those ponds u go to are insane with food pellets. I been feeding these hubrids for over a year cus their just fighters
Alas , me again . Requesting a bullseye snakehead !!!!! Been at this atleast a year or two now. Since pandemic . I’m not leaving that easy.
i get these in my house from time to time - i prefer them to the regular crickets because they do not chirp but yeah they're pretty alien looking
I’m gonna need you to make an audiobook on something boring like carburetor data sheets.
To fall asleep too. I’m too interested in fishing, but I have fallen asleep to your videos. LOL
Lol, " it's a general human instinct to poke things" . I'm an official member of the " fuck with the fire club"
Hell yes I love fun facts
I enjoyed the detailed narration about this bug.
By the way, I also enjoy the way you speak to the camera.
It is unfortunate that you did not use compound eyes on this bug.
Cool bait none the less and it caught a catfish not just a bass
Also box fans work wonders if ceiling fans start hurting rods to much even make nice closed ceiling fans
The bait was cool but the fungi destruction was epic!🤣
Yay new video
I’m going to need the uncut full build video so I can watch and listen while going to bed lol
When i lived in south Mississippi they were in hour well water shead.
This kinda gives me an idea. You should try to make a swim bait with a retractable hook where the hook hides near the end of the tail and when the fish bites, it goes up. Basically a weedless but a hard bait instead of soft bait
I approve of mushroom fireworks looks like fun
Cave crickets would be one of the scariest looking bugs if they ever became car sized. 😂😂😅😅 They gross me out every time I see one. Lol
I know you don't really fish saltwater, but I would love to see you make a Blue Crab Lipless Crankbait.
👍👍 excelente buen trabajo
Ah yes. The plumbing foreman cricket. They just stare at you while you're under there. They never help. They're not good at ductwork either, but they still sit there and judge you.
