I have built 4 rods and broke 4 blanks. Mostly my fault. Do you have a video that recommends what blanks to buy? I live at Clear Lake and mostly fish for bass and fish some tournaments. I am interested in both durability and sensitivity. For all the work that goes into a custom rod I feel I might as well build a high end rod that will make a difference in my fishing.

Im looking at getting some cfx carbon grips trim rings what would work with them. Also whats the best way to measure the winding checks im looking at getting the dimpled Aluminum
