I did something similar with my neca protomorph xeno an extracted the balljointed hips from 2020 40th big chap accept I just did cut the dremeled down center joint from balljoint hips glue sob it was tricky and lasted awhile now tweaking it switching over soldering the plastic permit mold into place undo damage mount new t-joint hip joint replacement with just standard one, probably convert old joints over to one of my preds. Great vid btw man! I dig your style.
If you don't mind me asking, will this mod work on McFarlane's Flashpoint Batman, as well? I'd like to try this one on him, so I could convert him into a standard comic book style Batman.
You need to get a tool called a digital caliper (Vernier Scale) so you can measure your diameters EXACT and use the appropriate drill bit, and get a #1-#64 Drill Bit Kit. They would make it possible for you to never make a mistake, I would also suggest a brass punch set and maybe even a set of dividers (you would call it a compass) In total, you buy these on line you are out 60-70 bucks. Considering what you’re doing - it will save you $ in the long run
This worked great on a couple of my customs. Unfortunately when I attempted to disassemble the figure to prep it for painting BOTH of their pegs broke apart! Like completely! Any alternate you could recommend aside from taking apart two more figures?
This is dope dude, totally gonna try this! Didn't you also have a video up somewhere about how to swap the arms?? I saw it somewhere and now I can't find it lol
Found your page from someone sharing your Batman who laughs/ mordo piece. Have had both figures for months but never tried this thank you for the video!
@@KitbashCustoms I believe I can but is it possible do you know? Lol I just ordered some marvel fodder and have never even held any of these figures in my hands so I don't know if the legs attach the same way. 🤔
Hey mate. Recently caught your videos and saw you Gears Of War conversions.... Loving your how to and customs that you make. Keep up the great work mate.
@@waynestanley498 never, they’ll check it off the list soon enough, you’ll learn with customizing ml that hasbro will most certainly make whatever your gonna make at some point.
@@KitbashCustoms Yeah, that's happened to me at least twice. I'm thinking about trying the Marvel/DC crossover Amalgam characters next, no way Hasbro does those.
Hey just a heads up. If you want to keep the pieces from shooting across the room? Get a small bowl of water. Put your nippers where you want to make your cut. Put it in the bowl and squeeze angled down a little. The water absorbs the piece. I've got a small work space and it's how I keep my floor clean. May take a little more work. But I'd rather that then step on a cut peg.
@@KitbashCustoms Yeah true enough. I didn't have any paper towels handy the day I figured it out. I did have a small cub of water for rinsing out my brushes. So I went with what I had. I'll have to try your method out. 👍
Ok this is good but iv never had a dc multiverse figure befor so i dont realy understand y you change the legs isit to fit a legends scale or just better articulation i dont collect 7 inch figures but i do love me some dc
Customs are cool but I don't fuck with McFarlane at all lol I think they're perfectly sculpted and detailed. Not only that but I don't like how all Marvel Legends are the same molds... Just cheaply done. This idea alone tho is dope! Especially how tight that grab was. Cheers!
Lol. Guess if people keep asking me how I did mine I can show them this. minus using nail for support.
It’s you, your the guy! And most def recommend this video especially if it helps alleviate the stress of the constant questions

It should as long as the torso set up is the same
I call you sensei bcuz you
Mastered the style I have used for years and taught me new stuff

Thank you
Truly living up to your name... awesome tutorial man. Need more of these, foreal, coz if there's anyone that CAN do it, it's you
DAYUM!!! I never would've thought of that! Great tutorial
Thank you!
These how-to’s are great man thank you🤟🏽
Thanks dude
Does doing this change the height/make the figure shorter?
Makes it shorter than McFarlane but In scale with legends
@@KitbashCustoms PERFECT! Let me bust out my tools...

Nevermind! I found it on your IG. The thumbnail threw me off
I would love to see a video for the arms, please.
Hey! Did you do tutorial to put the arms? I cannot find it
Once again awesome vid. 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!
Grey video man! Really cool! I didn’t even know what the McFarlane parts look like as I haven’t looked haha
What arms and legs are those on the Superman custom
Easy enough- looks good- thanks for sharing
Welcome
do the trunks go on ok?
Found your page from someone sharing your Batman who laughs/ mordo piece. Have had both figures for months but never tried this thank you for the video!
Welcome man!
Could you fo this to the new batman year 2 figure so I don't have to wing it im nervous about messing it up. Hes too tall needs to be shortened
I think the Superman looks pretty cool with the muscle tee on like that, myself.
Given me and idea for a redhood custom! Love your content thanks for sharing with us
Thanks for watching man! Really means a lot that you guys enjoy the stuff I put out
are the legs 6 inch scale?
Excellent advice man, thanks for sharing
Welcome dude and thank you!
How do I remove the legs from my Marvel Legends movie Venom? I’m trying to repaint the whole figure
Is it possible to put marvel legends figure legs on a GI Joe classified figure?
Anything is possible, if you believe

This cool but have you tried to change the legs on an old Toy Biz fig. with a Hasbro ML fig.?
Lol nah, no point imo

how you give shang Chi boots im Trying To Build me A jedi or Monster Hunter or Mando
Have you done this mod in a while I'm so curious about doing this still, if it's a solid mod I will try it, like has the hip pegs held to even today?
@@Gambitjordan I haven’t done it since this videos I’ve seen it be done tho

Wow, wait does this change its scale? Is it 1/12 now?
It is, but of a bigger scale like the Hyperion mold from hasbro
Can you do a tutorial on how to kitbash old gi joes into the 25th anniversary body.
I don’t collect those unfortunately
This is a great idea Kitbash Customs, Mcfarlane figures look so much better with this level of Marvel Legends style articulation
Thank you, and I think so too
Why do you switch the legs again?
Why not
How do
super dope 🙏🏻👊
Thank you bro
What superman is that??
McFarlane, the first one
Those legs look loose as fuck the pins on lower parts looks like they don't fit
That’s because this is a wip and those are not pins they’re tooth picks genius
