Remember kids, THey still charge uber black drivers with "commercial insurance" even though we already have it.
Forensic audit and law suit
Dara belongs in prison 🚔
I'll take a bet with anyone that Uber is getting insurance company kickbacks.
Huge fines for the insurer for that....they are just overcharging and keeping the difference
I can tell you i came from nyc doing black and x and ALL DRIVERS IN NYC HAS TO HAVE A CM INSURANCE SO UBER CANT STEAL THERE….
-uber is taking 22% for cm insurance + 30% for service fee anywhere but non nyc or any uber black market.
IM SURE 100% uber is making almost double what they make from service fee in insurance since they buy in a bulk cheap from insurance companies and charging rider/driver as much as they can without any limits ..
* i saw a statement that uber took $1,250 IN JUST 1 WEEK 7 DAYS FOR “CM INSURANCE WTF?? I USED TO PAY AROUND $550 AT FUCKING MONTH FOR MY CM INSURANCE AND I WAS COVERED ALL PERIOD 1-2-3-4-5 all !!
-now we paying regular insurance + rideshare insurances + EXPENSIVE ASS INSURANCE FROM UBER AND LYFT SEPARATELY AND THEY TAKE WHATEVER AMOUNT THE WANT WTF IS THIS SHIT 💩 ?
*These rideshare companies figure 🤔 mmmm this is a whole new business buying cheap for these idiots and sell it however we want per ride without limits so now we can play with numbers on each ride for cm insurance fee/service fee.
Notice is says "may" maintain, not must or does maintain...
So it is a hypothetical bullshit expense...
And they are charging this hypothetical expense to the customer's fare.
They’ve been inflating for years, figured that out years ago during surge trips amazing how the insurance rates go up!!
My taxi inc. Full cover it cost me 15 dollars a day uber and lyft for each ride stealing money $50 to 60 dollars a day in is airplane onc.
❤❤❤ Evil Dara is Pimping the PLANET!
This is their form of stealing money from the drivers!
Of course come on guys
I am really fortunate that I have found you so early in my driving career. I retired a couple of months ago and I am supplementing my income by using Uber. I highly run the Solo app, even though I’m not sure I know how to use everything that it can do! And snagging a display ride ASAP is also on my quote to do quote list
100% they are... Here in BC insurance fee is about 15% of the fare.... coupled with Ubers 25% service fee it comes out to about 40% of the fare being gone to Uber in my market. If you make 1000 per week you're paying about $7200 per year in insurance alone!!! The great irony is I got rideshare insurance added on so if something happens I can go through my own insurance instead of Uber.. it's only $20 extra for unlimited use PER MONTH!!
Prices have dropped even more in IAD Dulles airport in Virginia they paying as low as they can it use to be 40$ to DC now it’s $15 so disgusting.
Yeah and I want all this bs insurance fees back from uber with interest 💯 if anyone can get it back for drivers Sergio can 🙏thanks for the ev credit you got us all back last year 🙌
I pay 4804 a year for a 2018 Cadillac xt5 for progressive commercial insurance.
hi chris n sergio how many riders look in deep about receipt they just calculate this amount equal to which uber showed to them upon booking۔ Secondly we are rotating arround drivers n riders payments but in news media and vlog some stock brokers are protraiting uber is best buy choice and it wil be jumping to $80 to $90 by end of the year۔ thats why media is not caring for drivers problems but focusing to uber growth and directly or indirectly benefitionary
Again uber will do all they can do to until n unless strong campatitor will emerge which is not insight in near future۔
They are allowing all drivers on the road, refugees, mental cases, i had a customer who said he drove for lyft, he appeared to be developmentally disabled and I was taking him to auto repair shop for the collision he got driving lyft
Uber needs to waive this for all drivers who can show that they have obtained commercial rideshare insurance. Period.
I get about 55%-60%of what the rider pays
It's said it on my taxes
Uber also committing tax fraud
Why arent we get together and do a class action lawsuit????! 🙄
Of course they are. It was always their excuse to hide how much they pocket.
under prop 22, it does not say driver pays for the insurance. Anyone notice this
These assholes have lower our pay and charge way more and we get nothing
Holy crap Uber lied , I cannot believe it LOL
They have to come fleet rates a day for inc .
Yes
And I demand all that money back!
There is legal precedence for 'price optimization' vs Allstate auto insurance:
In May 2024, a federal judge in California approved a $25 million settlement in a class-action lawsuit against Allstate. The lawsuit alleged that Allstate violated California law by using price optimization to inflate premiums based on how much customers were willing to pay. The settlement was reached after the lawsuit was filed in 2015.
9 years later, when comes to companies, takes a decade, anything else 1 year done. wtf justice system is mess up
