I have a long beard and i applauded you for everything you said. I at one time had animals and the wall and the pros and cons of hitchhiking all memorized word for word. Great music my friend. I feel like so many bands have been chasing this album for 5 decades now, trying to recreate its depth by wallowing in darkness, but nobody got it quite right like the Floyd did. And even for PF it was lightning in a bottle. Several great albums followed but none quite hit the bullseye like this one did and it also marked the beginning of the erosion of the relationships between the band members.

@@pastghoster The Wall is Roger's daddy issues album using Pink Floyd as his backing band. Good, but not in the same league as DSOTM. I can't listen to the Wall all the way through in one sitting.
