I love that she doesnt only use crazy expensive makeup. She looks better than most beauty gurus, and the products aren't crazy expensive. Its so nice because i can actually get the products she used
You got me obsessed with your voice :) Your vids are my current addiction. Not forgetting to mention, your marriage to Claudia makes me wana get married to my girlfriend fast. Cheers!
Hahaha, my everyday look is absolutely nothing. Might start filling in my eyebrows, they need it, but i can't stand stuff on my face like that. I'm constantly rubbing and touching my face.
I filmed for my first commercial today and needed to do my own makeup. Thanks for being the only UA-camr to have authentic makeup with whatever search keywords i used!
There’s something so soothing about this video. Her lovely voice, the quiet music, the white room, the line of her dress, and her carefully applying a clean makeup look. I love it! 💄👗👠
I've had a real rollercoaster relationship with make up. In high school I wore LOADS of make up everyday because I felt ugly. Then when I got with my boyfriend and began to feel more comfortable in my skin I wore less and less, until I didn't wear any makeup for about 5 years. Now I know I don't need makeup to look beautiful and I can easily go out without any make up, but I'm now getting into makeup again as just a fun way to express myself - my relationship with makeup is SO much more healthier now. With that said, thank you for this tutorial! I'm definitely going to give it a go ❤️
I literally just made a couple in sims 4 last night that looks exactly like you and your wife. I had to subscribe. you're gorgeous and your content and editing is great. ps: it was so random because I've never seen you two before XD
oh - this might sound silly, but i never connected the dots until watching your video! I also have hooded eyes! lol i've always had a hard time having eyeshadow turn out nice, even after doing a bang up job, it never looks like everyone elses job! thanks for the pointers! Love your videos!
+Mel Campbell you're welcome, glad the tips helped! I'm going to do a video specifically about vintage looks for hooded/monolid eyes so watch out for that... x
Jessica Kellgren-Fozard hi, Jessica. I’m a new subscriber and I’m here to clarify that hooded and monolids are not the same thing. And while yours certainly look like monolids when you have your eyes open, they are not, since I can easily see your crease when you look down. In monolids that crease will never appear. Also your eyeliner shows when you put so much as a thin line. In a monolid, eyeliner wont show until like half an inch has been applied, so your tutorial won’t be very useful to anyone with monolids
I know this is very stupid but I hadn't fully realized up until this video that you were not naturally born with bright red lips lmao they look almost natural on you
I hope this won't make you feel bad in some way but... It's such a pleasure to hear your voice, your perfect diction and your sweet way to express yourself. I'm not English, I'm watching you from Spain, and let me tell you how wonderfully you sound... You are like... well, the perfect listening for an English class. I discovered you two weeks ago and I've seen almost all your videos yet.
absolutely loved it 💛 if you enjoy making these kinds of videos you could try out makeup & hairstyle tutorials from different decades. It would be so cool! For example I would love to see a Daisy (Great Gatsby) inspired 20s look. I always felt overwhelmed when trying out a look from the past because I never knew where to start, but you make it look so easy and I'm so happy you're using drugstore brands because I already have most of these products in my drawer 👍
+Irene Bakola So glad you liked the video and doing make up from different eras is a FABULOUS idea! Maybe taking those very vintage looks and making them wearable today? And of course drugstore brands all the way! X
For my hooded eyes, I use L'Oreal Paris Lineur Intense Brush Tip 790 Carbon Black. It has the same applicator like the liner you use. I'm glad you have hooded eyes. My eyes are similar to yours and I can never seem to do anything besides eyeliner on my eyes. Your makeup method for hooded eyes is very interesting.
I seriously have been binge watching you since Monday. Your voice is so relaxing!!!! You’re absolutely beautiful, you’ve helped me learn so much by watching you sign when talking and more about strong and clear annunciation. Being a southerner in Texas, my accent is thick. It sounds like banjos when. Talk lol I work for an ENT specialist and we see many patients who use hearing aids. I’m also a nursing student so you have helped this girl here, loads! You’re such a beautiful person and you seem very happy and your wife is awesome. Please keep making videos and don’t ever stop being you.
I wondered if I could achieve your porcelain skin look since I don’t have the pale skin that you appeared to be born with. Now I’m excited because I can create your look without being born looking like Snow White. You’re stunning and I’m so grateful you shared your secrets!
Ah, I loved this video! Thanks so much for sharing your daytime make-up routine with us. It always looks gorgeous. Of course I'd love to see your going-out make-up as well!
Hi Jessica, I don't know if you have gotten on well with felt tip eyeliners, but if you have I can strongly recommend both Collection and Bourgeois' offerings, and they're both (from memory) under £6. Keep on inspiring- I'm a trans girl who dresses and lives vintage, which in the community I've found is frowned upon because it's "hyper feminine" and apparently isn't "normal". I don't want to be normal, I don't enjoy jeans and t shirt- ironically the easiest way to be me is to go balls to the walls feminine and glam, and I'm glad to see there are other LGBT people who also partake in vintage! I'm rambling now, terribly sorry :3 Alex
A really good liquid paint on liner is the Razor Sharp liner by Urban Decay. Perversion is the black. It's incredibly easy to put on. I've been quite impressed with it.
im a fan of the kat von d tattoo liquid liner because the felt tip allows precision and its SUPER long lasting keep in mind its applicator is a different shape so it might not be an everyday thing because its not as forgiving as the brush ones
I always watch your videos every once in a while and LOVE them but forget to subscribe then have to rediscover you again and again :") Finally subscribed!!! Love this video and a "going to a ball" look would be fabulous!
i don’t really follow the vintage look (i love the aesthetic but it’s not so accessible to teens lol) but i love your videos! you’re beautiful and your style amazes me!!
I have worn make up three times in my life. All for graduation photo shoots. Yet, I watch all of your videos ... even the make up tutorials ... lol. I really do think it is your enthusiasm and voice ( I add my agreement with so many people in the comments that you should do audio books).
I very highly recommend the 24hr tattoo liner by Nichido (it stays on FOREVER and doesnt budge, and i get very oily whenever i put makeup on which just breaks things down usually but the nichido and the dollywink liquid pen in super black last literally all day and night long (not to mention dollywink's packaging is ADORABLE)
My favorite liquid eyeliner is a pen from eyeko called black magic. It's a little pricey about $22 but I think it's worth it. Very nice and sharp brush end.
Love your look! If you're still looking for a replacement liquid eyeliner try "NYX Matte Liquid Liner" it has a thin brush comes in many colors (personally I cannot stand the felt tip pen applicators) and the color is consistently dark and the product does actually dry to a matte finish. I'm hyper sensitive so I have to change out makeup sooner than the recommended time frame so the best part is this liner runs between 5 to 7 dollars depending on where you get it. So you'll have more money for clothes and other fun bits 😉 Best of luck!
My favourite eyeliner (I wear it everyday) is the Sephora précision eyeliner because it has a brush tip and not a felt tip, and it dries to a matte finish ! I tried several other brands, but since I also have monolid eyes, most of them tend to transfer before drying perfectly...
you are so beautiful!!!! this makeup (and vintage aesthetic in general) suits you very well. red lipstick seems to be your sort of trademark. i love it. also i heard that little "kigo forever" 😂😂 i can relate that was my SHIP
Surprised this wasn't captioned but whatever. Just wanted to say you rock the vintage look, that was my first thought while watching your videos for the first time.
Hi, sorry this isn't captioned, I'm working on having all of my videos captioned but it takes a little while as I can't do it myself. Thank you for the compliment! x
If you have access to the brand essence ( drug store ) I highly recommend the waterproof one with the metallic blue handle and the black bottom ( sorry. The letters are rubbed off due to exzessive use so i can’t tell you the exact name :D). I really love that liner. Normally I’m more of a high end makeup person but that liner is my holy grail. It won’t transfer anywhere even with hooded eyes :)
Wow you don't use high end makeup, rare on UA-cam, however I recommend Kat Von D eye liner, even I can use it and it stays on my watery eyes, I like soap and glory as well.
+St ooh thanks for the tip! I'll try the Kat Von D eyeliner since my eyes seem to do nothing but water!p ... also I'm a massive softie who cries at adverts! X
Here in Canada 🇨🇦 (& USA) the physicians formula pen liner in ultra black is the best. Cheaper than KVD and works just as well. It’s a brush tip ... but not like a classic brush .... closer to a calligraphy brush.
St i love that she doesnt. She looks better than most beauty gurus, and the products aren't crazy expensive. Its so nice because i can actually get the products she used
Jessica, please can you do another hair roller video as I really enjoy them. I really enjoyed your video. Well done and why are you so amazing at makeup?
I had a tumor removed from my bottom lip, about a 1cm wide segment cut out with an incision that went from just outside my lower lip line to the base of my gum on the inside. As a result most of my bottom lip is... well I'm not sure that it's entirely numb but more like a limb that's asleep. I have to say though, even for something as basic as putting on lipstick, not being able to feel my lip makes applying it much more difficult! I can only imagine having more of my face feel like this. When you said the bit about not feeling your skin on that side I was like YOU'RE MAGIC.
You mention "setting gloss" after applying your lip color. Is there a particular brand? I have Besame lipsticks on the way and don't want to detract from the colors with something too glossy. Yours looks divine!
The brand she used comes with its own setting gloss, maybelline super stay. It's not very glossy but it does add more shine than I like bc I prefer the matte look
I have extremely hooded eyes as well lol how do you put your eyeliner on without your eyes looking so droopy? I can't figure it out and i love the way winged liner looks 😭
I was planning to wear my hair in a vantage 40s look for a wedding but the day before the wedding ended up being family only due to COVID in the wedding party. Found out halfway through rolling. So since last night my hair has been in rollers so I have been wearing rollers Friday night and all day Saturday and will wear my hair vintage for church Sunday instead.
Do you do your makeup every day? A "how to remove your makeup" video might be nice! I don't wear makeup often, partly because removing my eyeshadow is so difficult...
That's a great video idea! I actually have two make up removal routines, depending on how much energy I have by the evening: one has various 'steps' and the other is just "pull out a make up wipe and scrub the hell out of your face as if your life depends on it!" 😂
I really enjoyed the video, 40s 50s do suite you. YOU explained it well... its a good prouduce no 7, subtile works best with your look ..... you know what works.....thanks for video Jessica ;.))
How did I never think to do my eye make up with my eye open before? With the amount of real estate I have on my eyelid this should’ve been a thought that occurred to me.
I love that she doesnt only use crazy expensive makeup. She looks better than most beauty gurus, and the products aren't crazy expensive. Its so nice because i can actually get the products she used
You are very kind, thank you! x
Jessica Kellgren-Fozard no problem at all sweetheart ! i hope you have a LOVELY day, your wife too
You got me obsessed with your voice :) Your vids are my current addiction. Not forgetting to mention, your marriage to Claudia makes me wana get married to my girlfriend fast. Cheers!
+nanaebear ha ha do it- marriage is the best! Glad you're enjoying my videos xxx
Everyday?? It looks gorgeous, but EVERYDAY? Props to you, girl. My everyday look is moisturizer and chapstick. lol
Ha ha, that's my wife's everyday routine as well! I'm one of those people who is either wearing no make up whatsoever or a full face 💋
you and me both! I am always impressed when I do this much makeup for a night out! haha.
Hahaha, my everyday look is absolutely nothing. Might start filling in my eyebrows, they need it, but i can't stand stuff on my face like that. I'm constantly rubbing and touching my face.
@@kristinowens899 same just lipstick and moisturizer
I filmed for my first commercial today and needed to do my own makeup. Thanks for being the only UA-camr to have authentic makeup with whatever search keywords i used!

That's amazing! I actually have Sims versions of us too... 😏
AriSoConfused that’s so cute man

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner works amazing for me. Long lasting with a great brush tip.
I just loved watching this.... your such a classic beauty. I loved all your products. Stunning finished look 😘😘😘
Thank you so much! Really glad you liked the look and the video x

so true she makes her tutorials look easy
I have just watched four of your videos in a row. You really are a charming person. I shall watch more.
ELF liquid eyeliner, nice brush and very good pigmented plus affordable.
Been looking for a vintage look that isn't expensive and labour intensive. Will deffo be giving this a try!
that sponge dog photobombing is everything 😍
I LOVE your vintage style, from you hair to your makeup to your clothes. It suits you and your personality and your elegant voice so well!
For my hooded eyes, I use L'Oreal Paris Lineur Intense Brush Tip 790 Carbon Black. It has the same applicator like the liner you use.

Nobody can physically stop you babe. Do what you want. Who cares?
You're so pretty! This tutorial is awesome! I've been looking for a good vintage tutorial and this is perfect! :)
Lovely and delightful ❤️
I have hooded eyes too. So uneasy to put shadows…
I loved seeing you in this dress so much I bought one for myself for a Christmas party I'm going to next Saturday 😁
A really good liquid paint on liner is the Razor Sharp liner by Urban Decay. Perversion is the black. It's incredibly easy to put on. I've been quite impressed with it.
Would you consider doing a video where you cover the technical aspect of how you do eye shadow for hooded eyes?
Kat von d eyeliners, and stila felt tip eyeliner pens work so amazing for me. They do not drag and they tend to be waterproof
im a fan of the kat von d tattoo liquid liner because the felt tip allows precision and its SUPER long lasting
keep in mind its applicator is a different shape so it might not be an everyday thing because its not as forgiving as the brush ones
I always watch your videos every once in a while and LOVE them but forget to subscribe then have to rediscover you again and again :") Finally subscribed!!! Love this video and a "going to a ball" look would be fabulous!

I truly love your videos, your so charming and a real (relaxing) thrill to listen to :)
all in all you have a wonderful channel

You are such a classic beauty! Just found your channel, and I love your sense humor. Subscribeeeed!
Thaaanks 💐
My favourite eyeliner is the Stay All Day Liquid Liner by Stila. It's the BEST! x
The MAC brush stroke liner is really good, its like a felt tip, but its a brush and doesn’t have the wand
Your so pretty and your voice is so sweet! I love your videos. I just found your channel and your already my favorite youtuber!
Yay one for team monolid!
Mentions of watercolors in makeup videos made my day. or....night? it's nearly midnight here.
GOODNESS ME you are absolutely delightful, so glad I found you and your lovely videos!
Thank you 🌸
I love your style. I've been into 1950s style lately . In doing s 1950s style for Halloween
Wow, I just discovered your channel, and I am amazed by how wholesome your tutorials are! Keep up this awesome work, and you're rocking that style!
Love your look! If you're still looking for a replacement liquid eyeliner try "NYX Matte Liquid Liner" it has a thin brush comes in many colors (personally I cannot stand the felt tip pen applicators) and the color is consistently dark and the product does actually dry to a matte finish. I don’t know if you listen to podcasts, but if you do, I feel like you would love “You Must Remember This.” Great video.
You're my favorite! You're so delightfully cheery and fun! Love your videos :)
+Maddy Moore thank you lovely 😊
Really recommend Revolution make-up, you can get it in Superdrug and it's cruelty free (unlike Maybelline and maxfactor)
I'm obsessed watching your videos. You're beautiful and so lovely. I could listen to you all day. You have a gorgeous voice.
My favourite eyeliner (I wear it everyday) is the Sephora précision eyeliner because it has a brush tip and not a felt tip, and it dries to a matte finish ! I tried several other brands, but since I also have monolid eyes, most of them tend to transfer before drying perfectly...
Thanks for the tip!
I find that the urban decay liquid eye liner has the nicest brush.
your style is so... omg you make me feel in the 20s and i love it
I totally love your style! You look so beautiful
the nyx eyeliner is amaaaazing try it out
you are so beautiful!!!! this makeup (and vintage aesthetic in general) suits you very well. red lipstick seems to be your sort of trademark. i love it.
also i heard that little "kigo forever" 😂😂 i can relate that was my SHIP
I just discovered your channel and I am in love with it!!
NYX liquid eyeliner is really good
Great video, I subscribed to your channel. I organize a vintage New Year Party and searched for makeup tips, I will try this look.
Eyeliner tip: kat von d tatoo liner! Took a bit to get the hang of it but it is so perfect. Plus it’s vegan and cruelty free 😊. Very pretty look!!
Oh my god you look gorgeous without makeup!! First time watching your videos, I am in love😂
your smile is everythiiing!!
Surprised this wasn't captioned but whatever. Just wanted to say you rock the vintage look, that was my first thought while watching your videos for the first time.
Hi, sorry this isn't captioned, I'm working on having all of my videos captioned but it takes a little while as I can't do it myself. Thank you for the compliment! x
I think Shego from Kim Possible was the reason I discovered I fancied girls as well when I was young, did you like her, too? 😹
Same!
I swear everyone did😂
So pretty!
Totally get the hooded eye problem. I have exactly the same ☹️
If you have access to the brand essence ( drug store ) I highly recommend the waterproof one with the metallic blue handle and the black bottom ( sorry.
Oh thank you, I'm looking forward to make loads more of hair and make up videos!
Who told you... you are allowed to be so got damn pretty... your hair, your lips. You look gorgeous! I love your videos!
where is your wonderful dress from? great video xx
From here! ua-cam.com/video/zhYPQwBMHBA/v-deo.html x
Omg i love your style soooo much 💕💗
Editing must be so hard and I respect you so much for it
I had a tumor removed from my bottom lip, about a 1cm wide segment cut out with an incision that went from just outside my lower lip line to the base of my gum on the inside.
I can't find THAT lipstick anywhere! My complexion is very similar to yours and I also hair red hair...but green eyes, I REALLY want that lipstick!
I wish i looked that radiant without make up!!!
You are such a beauty!!!
BYS has a really good eyeliner
I was planning to wear my hair in a vantage 40s look for a wedding but the day before the wedding ended up being family only due to COVID in the wedding party. Found out halfway through rolling. So since last night my hair has been in rollers so I have been wearing rollers Friday night and all day Saturday and will wear my hair vintage for church Sunday instead.
Cool now for the skincare routine
I use the Makeup forever for red undertones. Have you tried this before?
So beautiful ! Where did you get that dress
kat von d tattoo liner is the best if you love liquid
Can you do different makup looks from different eras like what they would ware during that time period
Please can you do a video on how you maintain your makeup during the day
Do you do your makeup every day?
A "how to remove your makeup" video might be nice! I don't wear makeup often, partly because removing my eyeshadow is so difficult...
That's a great video idea! I actually have two make up removal routines, depending on how much energy I have by the evening: one has various 'steps' and the other is just "pull out a make up wipe and scrub the hell out of your face as if your life depends on it!" 😂
That dress!! I'm Dead??
I NEED that dress
I really enjoyed the video, 40s 50s do suite you. YOU explained it well... its a good prouduce no 7, subtile works best with your look ..... you know what works.....thanks for video Jessica ;.))
Very glad you enjoyed it x
;.) yes I did you explaine it well ... its allways a pleasure to watch Jessica ;.)
Beautiful!
Very wholesome video :)
How did I never think to do my eye make up with my eye open before? With the amount of real estate I have on my eyelid this should’ve been a thought that occurred to me.
