You really want to use Moroccan oil it is a fiber filling oil for mending damage. If your hair air dries frizzy you will need to apply conditioner to wet hair before you shampoo. Less friction while shampooing is important. Coconut oil can damage hair if it’s used too often. It adds a protein and overly adding protein to your hair can create the hair to be full, greasy and look worse:
@smiledance4933 check out people that have protein sensitivity to their hair. Some girls don't benefit from it. Every so often I get hopeful and try but my hair gets super brittle. I don't know the science behind it. But try and see for yourself 👍
@@smiledance4933 Personally I find that if you leave coconut oil in your hair when you apply moisturiser on top it doesn’t sink in as the oil has created a barrier. Alternatively you can apply other oils that are more moisturising like hemp oil, avocado, olive oil etc Hope that helps 😊

Girl, thank you for recommending this oil. I’ve used the argan oil in the same line and didn’t like it but this coconut miracle oil is miracle indeed. My dry brittle ends are nourished the second I put them in. I use this oil towards the end to give my hair TLC after using the Pureology leave in conditioner and heat protectant before blow drying. I find that when I don’t keep it on overnight, it just doesn’t wash out, because it still coating the hair. When I keep it on overnight, my hair has absorbed more of it, and the remainder washes out without a problem.

Ummm yeah don’t use real coconut oil not because of how it might make your hair feel dry but because you’ll ruin your drains. Once it hardens it can clog your pipes.
Regular coconut oil melts at 76 degrees also after being mixed with shampoo it does not clog anything. Fractionated coconut oil stays liquid, so if you're really worried about clogging use that instead.

Hey! Do you have any tips for my hair, I am a preteen and don't have access to fancy oils, tools, and hair products. I only have my leave in conditioner and a shampoo/conditioner combo. (I don't have an allowance and I can't just go shopping.)
I love your channel for hair recs! I have an inflammatory scalp condition that is like a blend of seb derm/psoriasis, and piyrosporum folliculitis. It means sebum is overproduced, I have an autoimmune reaction TO the sebum, and fungus grows in the presence of oiling hair products. The shampoos I have to use to keep my scalp fungus-free are very drying and harsh on the hair strands themselves, which look like they've been bleach-damaged. Coconut oil is my fungus' FAVORITE food but is in almost all oils and leave-conditioners. Are there any products that can protect and condition the hair without oil? I haven't found any so far...
What exactly is this supposed to do for your hair? And if you already have product in your hair like mousses and hairspray, does this do what it is supposed to do? I’m hoping to get an answer.
Yes great question 🙋🏻♀️! Putting the hair oil just before washing, also feels to me that how are you supposed te get the hair spray, leave in conditioner and old oils from tour hair, if it has oil over it?
My hair breaks so easily, so it seems that for me, I’d have to really wash it more than usual to get the oil out, thus breaking my hair more. So confusing.

My scalp used to be so sensitive, especially after washing it, it would hurt for days.. I started oilying my scalp before shampoo and ive never had a problem again.

I have this and I’m going to try it 😭 thank you so much, my hair is so over processed and thin now. Looks like a 🧹😩
I need to know what you think of the original Moroccan oil
She recomends a product that first ingredient is "Cyclopentasiloxane" which is a plastic that cover the hair shaft preventing nutrients to penetrate, isn't easier for her to just use real coconut oil.
Thank you! So glad you answered this! I was wondering the amount you use and the time you leave it on 🤗🙏
I just tried because i saw your video- and this honestly it works really well ! I got the wonder water too . I get a bit nervous using oils becoming of build up so I used the wonder water after shampoo. My hair feels so soft.
Thank you!
I just tried it and my hair loves it ❤ thank you
I’ve been using the coconut oil ogx oil and it’s so good!
I just did this and it made a huge difference!
Thank you I'm trying this ☺️
Just bought this hair oil at Walmart on your recommendation for a really good price and in about 2 uses my hair is noticeably more sleek and shiny.
❤❤ Coconut Oil ❤❤
Great for hair & a makeup remover
One of my favorite things!
This has been a game changer for me!
Can you please do a similar video for the pureology leave in conditioner? Thank you!
What about olive or avocado oil? I currently dont have coconut oil. Will it give similar benefits?
I’m growing out my natural color and left with bleach on my ends I found this product dries out my bleach BUT their argan oil works great for my ends!
I am a new subscriber as I discovered you on TikTok and I'm really enjoying your content!
I just bought this… they should sponsor you bc it took me FOREVER to find! You got this item sold out everywhere 😂
Should my hair be damp before I put it on?
Do you have a product suggestion that does something similar without the coconut? Us allergy girlies would be so appreciative!
Try jojoba oil it actually mimics the natural oils your scalp already makes !
Is that a boar bristle brush you use? I've read it helps to distribute oils ( natural or coconut).
Yes boar bristle brush is good to brush your hair
INGREDIENT LIST: silicones && dimethicone- do not use on low porosity hair ladies!
Thank you! I have such low porosity hair that nothing penetrates. So I have to use a thin, dry oil on the ends of my hair after blow drying to smooth, but anything too heavy will just sit on top and be a nightmare to wash out.
Would fine hair (& not as much as I used to have!) also rule this product out? I'm thinking it would be too heavy & weigh my hair down.
You still do this even if you have hairspray or other leave-ins on your hair between washes?
Yes! Works just the same
Will this help my hair it's damage bad from getting highlights it's broken bad 😢
it will help smooth it but it won't repair damage.
Thank you! I have a question who’s a fault on my very bad damage hair it’s all fried the whole left side & all my bangs 😢
@@lisabanerjee7942Bleach does damage hair a certain amount. Have you spoken to whoever did your highlights?
@@natmya243 yes! She knows she did it & she’s blaming my hair saying it’s fragile, before this hairstyle she also broken off my hair & she even said it’s her fault & now this hairstyle did it it’s my hair’s fault I’m so upset I feel so ugly my hair is real bad I’m using all the good hair products & also have been to
@@lisabanerjee7942 I'm so sorry this has happened to you, I have had this done before as well by bleach being left on too long. I would never go back to the same person again. You can't really repair damage you have to cut it off. You can use products to temporarily bond the hair while you grow the damage out but if you use a bond product you must make sure to heavily condition your hair as well.
My hair stylist always tells me to stop using coconut oil should I be looking into finding a new stylist and hair salon?
Well she probably knows your porosity hair type because low porosity hair cant take too much protein overload im pretty sure that coconut oil does that to low porosity hair. Try argan oil instead, it works with most hair types, jojoba also. Coconut oil seems to help highly bleached/processed hair tho.
No, I'd ask her why 1st ?
Hi I agree with that comment above and I have low porosity hair and I'm using the Ogx argan of Moroccan oil and my hair loves it.
You are so beautiful ❤
Have you heard of surface awaken hair products? Supposedly they keep hair in the antigen phase for longer hair?
What kind of bristle brush do you recommend? ❤
I tired it but it coated my ends so much they were so greasy and took DAYS to wash out.
Any tips to protect my hair from swimming in the ocean? Could I just apply this oil before I go in the water? It's just going to be in a braid or low bun~
What other brand do you suggest? This one I don't have access to it
Any recommendation for an alternative? This particular product is not easy to find in Romania. Thanks
Great, thank you
Hey! Do you have any tips for my hair, I am a preteen and don't have access to fancy oils, tools, and hair products. I only have my leave in conditioner and a shampoo/conditioner combo. I take hot showers because I HATE being cold. And my hair type is very straight with a slight wave, basically average white girls hair. Any tips on how to keep my hair heathy that I can actually get? (I don't have an allowance and I can't just go shopping.)
Can you please share the link for the brush you are using after oiling ?
I love the coconut oil
What exactly is this supposed to do for your hair? And if you already have product in your hair like mousses and hairspray, does this do what it is supposed to do? I’m hoping to get an answer.
Yes great question 🙋🏻♀️! Putting the hair oil just before washing, also feels to me that how are you supposed te get the hair spray, leave in conditioner and old oils from tour hair, if it has oil over it?
My hair breaks so easily, so it seems that for me, I’d have to really wash it more than usual to get the oil out, thus breaking my hair more. So confusing.
So just from the chin down, not the top....?
What fo girls with pixies and short styles should do? Whatever I use it ends up on my already greasy scalp
Could someone tell me the name and the brand of the product? I’m legally blind so whenAbby shows products without the names I’m not allowed to be on the same page as the rest of you, but I love her recommendations and use a lot of the other products she talks about.
OGX brand
OCX Coconut miracle oil Extra strength
You're legally blind you better not use that s*** it f**** your hair up I'm so pissed off I'm looking for a lawsuit
Do you have a coconut oil rec that doesn’t have silicones? My curly hair does better without them but I’d love to try this!
My scalp used to be so sensitive, especially after washing it, it would hurt for days.. I started oilying my scalp before shampoo and ive never had a problem again.
Does this mean putting shampoo on my ends to then wash it off?
Should I use coconut oil even on low porosity hair? ❤
no as it might make things worse
No!, our hair type hates it! Made mine break bad. Our type porosity is better off with almond or argan oils.
With low porosity hair, thick oils don't like our hair as the previous comment said use Argan oils, and I also have low porosity and I'm using the OGX argan of Moroccan oil and my hair loves it.
