      You really want to use Moroccan oil it is a fiber filling oil for mending damage. If your hair air dries frizzy you will need to apply conditioner to wet hair before you shampoo. Less friction while shampooing is important. Coconut oil can damage hair if it’s used too often. It adds a protein and overly adding protein to your hair can create the hair to be full, greasy and look worse:

      @smiledance4933 check out people that have protein sensitivity to their hair. Some girls don't benefit from it. Every so often I get hopeful and try but my hair gets super brittle. I don't know the science behind it. But try and see for yourself 👍

    • @natalya7208
      @natalya7208 8 місяців тому +9

      @@smiledance4933 Personally I find that if you leave coconut oil in your hair when you apply moisturiser on top it doesn’t sink in as the oil has created a barrier. So your hair has slip but feels dry.
      However if you want to leave coconut oil in your hair, moisturise your hair first then apply the coconut oil on top (only a bit as it will thin and spread with the heat off your head, which may start running down your neck as the day goes on). I would focus the coconut oil on the ends of the hair and apply sparingly near the top/ roots of the hair.
      Alternatively you can apply other oils that are more moisturising like hemp oil, avocado, olive oil etc Hope that helps 😊

    Girl, thank you for recommending this oil. I’ve used the argan oil in the same line and didn’t like it but this coconut miracle oil is miracle indeed. My dry brittle ends are nourished the second I put them in. I use this oil towards the end to give my hair TLC after using the Pureology leave in conditioner and heat protectant before blow drying. My hair looks and feel so much better. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars buying the expensive morroconoil argan treatment oil and that really didn’t do nothing for my fine curly hair. Loving this. Keep these videos coming. I’ve bought 3 more bottles at Target and also got a 5 dollars gift card when you buy 4 items in the same line. Win win 😉

      The best thing you can do to protect your hair from chemical treated water like pool water is to get it wet before hand so that the water your hair does absorb does not have chemicals in it. I would be curious if putting oil on your hair after helps but if you go into the pool water, the dry hair, especially damaged hair is porous and your hair acrually absorbs water that contains those chemicals so you want to fill in the porous areas of the sponge with non-chemical water before hand but I bet like if you get your hair wet and then put the oil on over it that might be more protection. There’s a bunch of like dermatology journals that have articles where you can read more about this.

    I bought this because of your recommendation and it is absolutely amazing, I have been trying so many different expensive products after bleach ruined my hair and overnight I could tell the difference when I used this product. I finally have some faith that my hair will start to grow because the frizz becomes less and less each time I use it, it’s got it’s shine back, and it’s more even in the way it absorbs hydration and products (before using it I would wash my hair and the hairs closest to the scalp and ends would dry almost instantly and be frizzy and or dry, and then the middle section of my hair would take forever to dry like it is the only healthy part of my hair).

      I used a prescription cream for a while, then discovered a red reducing cream by avene that worked just as well, so I used that for a couple of years. Then I started layering aloe Vera over the top, then when it was not so bad I used aloe Vera alone. I kept using it for a year or so after the rosacea was gone as it seemed to pop up again if I stopped too soon.
      Apparently sun protection is really important. I didn't know that so didn't wear sunscreen (this was before UA-cam hahaha and Google wasn't what it is today).
      Obviously none of this is medical advice, it's just what worked for me.

    Ummm yeah don’t use real coconut oil not because of how it might make your hair feel dry but because you’ll ruin your drains.
    Once it hardens it can clog your pipes.

    • @sickandtired2023
      @sickandtired2023 Рік тому +9

      Regular coconut oil melts at 76 degrees also after being mixed with shampoo it does not clog anything. Fractionated coconut oil stays liquid, so if you're really worried about clogging use that instead.

      @@lisabanerjee7942 I'm so sorry this has happened to you, I have had this done before as well by bleach being left on too long. I would never go back to the same person again. You can't really repair damage you have to cut it off. You can use products to temporarily bond the hair while you grow the damage out but if you use a bond product you must make sure to heavily condition your hair as well.

      Well she probably knows your porosity hair type because low porosity hair cant take too much protein overload im pretty sure that coconut oil does that to low porosity hair. Try argan oil instead, it works with most hair types, jojoba also. Coconut oil seems to help highly bleached/processed hair tho.

    I love your channel for hair recs! I have an inflammatory scalp condition that is like a blend of seb derm/psoriasis, and piyrosporum folliculitis. It means sebum is overproduced, I have an autoimmune reaction TO the sebum, and fungus grows in the presence of oiling hair products.
    The shampoos I have to use to keep my scalp fungus-free are very drying and harsh on the hair strands themselves, which look like they've been bleach-damaged. Coconut oil is my fungus' FAVORITE food but is in almost all oils and leave-conditioners.
    Are there any products that can protect and condition the hair without oil? I haven't found any so far...
