Don't pick a grey undertone If you have dark skin. anyone over a medium tan using grey toned powders on their nose will make it look muddy
thanks for clarifying, this makes sense
Another tip I should add here is that your perfect contour shade should be the same shade as the shadows on your face and neck. Lighter skintones (depending on the undertone) would get greyish shadows hence why they need a grey toned contour. This tip really helped me in finding my contour colour
@@may9725 how do you know what color your shadows are?
Still use a cool undertoned powder, like a cool undertoned brown powder for contour, it almost means the same thing 🤷
Depends on your undertones, if you have a desaturated skin tone it won’t be an issue
I disagree with the second girl's tips. This is not to be pretentious, but to help people with similar noses. If you conter the bridge of your nose to make it looks smaller, you're back to square one. The smaller bridge in comparison to the base of your nose will make the base look big. It doesn't really fix the "issue". It just makes your overall nose look a bit smaller in proportion to your face, but still bulbous. If that's what you're going for, then there is no need to change your routine.
If you want your nose to look less bulbous, put foundation over the bridge of the nose so it blends into the rest of the face. Then use a lighter color on the side of the nose to brighten the sides up. Then you contour only the tip of your nose. Do a very small amount. I like to add blush on the tip after. This way, you get a baby-like button nose. There is no bridge, but your nose looks cute like a little bunny. I'm black so this is what I do. I get a lot of compliments when I do it. I embrace the shape of my nose and try to highlight the cute parts of it. To me, bigger noses look weird when you try to contour the bridge. It makes it look broader and kinda manly.
Can you please do a vid tutorial, pretty pleeeease?
@@amied3260 I'm sorry. I prefer to be private.
No worries 😍 stay safe!
yesss I do this too !!!! I just draw a circle around the tip of my nose with contour, blend, and put blush either right on the tip or underneath. it enhances the natural nose shape really well :)
@@amied3260 Thank you for understanding 🥰
Could you possibly make a vid about best hair colours/ styles for different face shapes and skin tones? Love ur vids!!
Wishtrend has them too!!
The people who do it is also asian
Up
UP UP UP!!!!

I have all of that 6 nose types😂 low root, low bridge, up turned, bulbous, wide bridge, wide wings😂

I have the first five😞 my nose looks too big and this is one of my insecurities
Well ..someone is quite unique... I SEE ..☺️
Never saw a nose like that, your nose is unique bae
pls don't delete this bc this is literally my lifesaver T.T
Can confirm this is life-changing 😩👌
i have a thin nose bridge but bulbous nose, wide alar. so, what i do (it realllllyyyyyy works trust me)
1) my nose bridge is thin, so i have to widen it. shade the area BESIDE the nose bridge (not on the nose bridge itself, the skin at the sides of the nose bridge). this will make your nose bridge wider, which is good for those with too thin nose bridge
note: the ratio of the thickness of my nose tip to nose bridge is 3:1. yes, that’s how horrible it is.
2) i narrow the alar by shading the ‘wings’ of my nose tip.
3) once step 1 and 2 is done, the nose bridge and the alar should look more aligned in thickness. next, fix the bulbous tip of the nose by contouring the sides of the nose tip. NOTE: DO NOT shade your nose tip too thinly. if u do that, it will make your nose tip look even bigger. shade your nose tip so that it matches the same thickness as your nose bridge. (TIP: shade from outside to inside. start shading widely, and then slowly narrow your shading until you’re satisfied
my biggest mistake as a newbie: shading my nose tip too thinly. i always though having a small nose tip = shading thin. NO, you should try shading widely.
thank you so much...my nose tip is wide but nose bridge is thin too and no countouring tips seemed to work-
Wide noses are actually interesting because the give the face a strong and a deeper look that attracts you. Meanwhile thinner nose gives a delicate touch that balance the face and makes you focus on the eyes more . I mean you can feel what I'm saying
Imagine you were drawing 2 parallel rails on your nose every time you contouring.
That is so helpful!
More Asian shapes tutorials!!! Eye shape, lips etc. wonderful!
I’m sure grey is fine if you have porcelain skin, but a lot of Asians don’t 😂
This only applies to east asians ig
literally 😭 why is ALL in caps and it’s only applicable and shows examples of East Asians like
east asians in media are paaale af but a lot of us are naturally olive and/or tan easily. a lot of chinese/korean celebrities aren't even pale in real life, they just cake on white ass foundation (with grey or pink undertone wtf) and use filters lol
Please keep in mind that there are many tones of grey. You wanna stay away from warm undertoned colors for contour
It just means grey undertoned, cool toned colors
THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEEEN NEEDINGG FOR MY ENTIRE LIFEEE
I like how this channel teaches you how to be technical about makeup.
I will forever be grateful. As a big nosed Filipina I really appreciate this.
Idk why but I absolutely love noses with wide bridges, this is insanely beautiful
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Thank you for this!!!
Thank you so much for posting this!!! my nose is very round so any time I try to find a nose contour video, the beauty gurus all use the same technique and it never works on me. I am happy that I finally found something that works! :D
Thank you so much for sharing 😭😭❤️❤️ your videos are the best!! I love you guys 🥺😭❤️ like the big sister teaching me makeup that I never had!!!
THIS IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED THANK YOU SM!!
CAN YOU POST A VIDEO ABT FACE SHAPES
This is the best makeup tips UA-cam channel ever for me.
your video's r so useful, I feel so much more confident. Tysm. ur so swagg 😍
This is very helpful, thank you so much!
your channel is a blessing. i’ve just found you 3 days ago, i’ve been testing out the techniques on this channel all weekend. i went out with some friends yesterday and they all complimented my appearance, and my bestfriend asked if i was doing anything different because i looked even prettier than usual. i wasn’t actually expecting anyone to notice anything different!! i followed the high cranial top video and makeup vids for suiting individual face shapes, such as this one. it’s crazy how such small details can make such a big difference.
I love the detailed explanation. Thank you.
doyeon nose is everything 😍
JISOO's face Proportions r so good
She's literally perfect
omg this helped so much and please do a tutorial for japanese makeup its soo pretty and natural T.T
Great tips! currently watching.
More contour bible please!!
Thank you soo much for this! I can never find tips for my wide and bulbous nose!!
I love the “ALL” but then we completely disregard anyone that isn’t an east asain. please don’t use grays etc if u are a east asain watching this video and pay careful attention to your undertones and skin colour
just when I think u don't have every tutorial I need, I find this gem. ur a god💞💞
bruh, im every nose type except for 5...
Oooohhhhh I learned so much!
you’re a miracle!! this video is incredibly informative and helpful for me
this is very useful! thank you for sharing
Been trying to learn how to contour my nose the past 3 yeard and hates it when make up artists contour my nose.... this video saved me oml
Love your vids and explains.
Could you do a video about types of blush and their effects?
As someone with light olive toned skin, grey contour changed my life 😍 I was wondering why orange contours and bronzers made me look awful!!
love your videos
Omggg this channel is my spirit channel.😌🤌
thank you so much ✨✨✨
THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS!!!
Please make a list of matte highlighter products!! ❤
Hey could you make a video about chinese makeup product? Im so curious about their eyeliner.. seems so good.. but i never found it..
this is only for east asians, not all asians, i clicked it thinking it would help my desi nose lol, do u mind changing the title to make it more accurate?
Thank you!!!
You the best
YUJU from GFRIEND is so pretty
Could you possibly make a vid about best hair colours/ styles tysm
Can you make a video about blush placement and face contour?
i have indigenous descent but this vid helped a lot. I guess we have similar nose types
I’m also indigenous but indigenous Mexican
I'm half Asian and half European and have a mixed nose 🥲
I'm just curious to what type of nose I have but never thought about contouring my nose lolll
Im Asian and black and my nose is like none of these 🥲
@@leannemabon8551 ikrrrrr
Sameee I’m half Chinese half European and my nose is like Asian in the front but like Italian/green on the side 😩I have a bulbous nose 🥲
im half hazara (persian mongolian) and half pashtun. my nose bridge is “white” while the tip is “asian” shape and idk what to do 😭
@@bruh-wc1gs honestly just rock the natural nose you've been given I bet it's beautiful anyway 😊
But for makeup I have no idea how to contour noses, maybe I'll learn when I go to cosmetology school lolll
Tip 1: some noses look more prominent because of redness/darkness around the nose wings
Tip 2: not all asians have cool under tones so a grey undertone contour powder might not be the best for everyone
Pimchanok is really pretty
I disagree for only using a gray toned contour. The contour u should be using is the one according to ur undertones, so like for me I have a warm skin tone so I would use brown, but if you have a cooler tone use gray. If you don’t go by these rules your face will look dirty.
What do I do if I'm neutral??
@@honestlywhat6085 The same applies. use a neutral color, but with a more greyed undertone since shadows are grey. When we contour, we are trying to emulate the natural shadow of people with the bone structure we want. If you can't find a neutral color, a grey color will be the next best thing.
Your contour color essentially is just adding grey to ur original skintone since ur shadow is definitely grey. If u r of deeper complexion definitely choose brown but a grey-ish toned brown.
@@deactivateduser9816 I second this.
@@KDbelieves thank you!!
THANK UUU
please do one on bumpy/crooked nose
thank youuuu
Thank you
Can you please make a detailed one for upturned nose as well, I have visible nostrils and it is so hard to contour my nose
My nose is small but very bulbous. It’s cute though I get a lot of compliments on it
It's called a button nose! It's considered very lucky in my culture.
SAMEE!!!! but I don’t like it, I wish the tip was just straight 😭
@@honestlywhat6085 yes ahahah a lot of people have called my nose a button nose
@@inhle1688 same but I’m learning to like it because idk if I want a rhinoplasty so I might as well love my nose if I won’t change it
My parents say a round nose means you will have great fortune :)
is there a good way to contour for south asian noses?
Can you make a tutorial for dark asian skin???
I cant use a grey contour cause it looks like mud cause Im a warmer spring color, so I would usually used a peachy or brown (in my case very light) to contour my pale skin
Edit: For all warm spring undertones like me, I suggest to stick to safe contour colors with brown or beige undertones, but use it holistically. Then make sure to use a peachy pink/red or coral blush slightly then very little highlighter on the tip of the nose to highlight your skin and make it look glowy
When she explains it so well, but I can't still identify my nose type because some of these were combination of mine 😭
Wish u could it for other races too.. Ur too good 👍❤
Can u do sunkissed makeup plss
I have bulbous nose ,exactly like Mei Naganoand her r right in all, principally about the bangs, I used to have bangs and my nose always looked more bulbous than when I didn't have bangs!
it’s great we have this tutorial but honestly i sometimes think these are borderline dangerous for pushing extremely eurocentric beauty standards. ethnic noses are so so beautiful and should be celebrated more. the video did say everyone’s noses are great and i am happy it addressed this. girlies pls just be aware of how much u stress about ur nose bc it’s not worth the anxiety or being upset about. ik there are many younger teens out here watching these videos, trust me i’ve been there when i was 15 hating my features but honestly fuck beauty standards they r bullshit anyways.
I have the flattest nose bridge, no amount of shadow or contouring is gonna help me :')
@@bharatresurgence ur natural beauty is having a more prominent nose. I've never seen a natural nose that doesnt sit well on someone's face. think of ppl like adam drive, nina simone and barbara streisand. i'm sure your nose is beautiful the size it is
i have bulbous nose tip, wide nose wing and flat but wide nose bridge .. looks like i’m gonna write down more than 1 tip
Wow I’m not even Asian and this is awesomeeee
Same. I'm black, but I prefer Asain makeup styles. It looks soft and feminine and they match my face better than the insta-baddie trend in the u.s.
I feel like black people easily have the same noses as asians. Ive ssen every nose type in this video on ablack person and found mind. This was quite useful!!!
Finally!!! A channel specifically for Asian girls!! Every makeup tutorial seems to be for White or Black no h8 but I’m just not…
Do you guys have one for foundation?
also please dont forget to use foundation or cushion for base ! ❤️ and bake / use powder 💗
I HAVE ALL OF THE TUPES 😭😭
This contour product works on tan skin? (I’m specifically half okinawan)
6:48 for wide nose bridge, wide nose tip, and wide wings
Plz make video on agyo style plzz on matter how many times i am doing but its not happen seriously
Can we do one for bigger eyes
Will brown contour look better look better on tan Asian skin?
my invisible nose bridge is grateful for thee
I have an upturned + bulbous nose 😁
Really need it, my nose is flat.
who is the 3rd girl (girl with bangs and orange hair) on the title screen? i have never seen anyone else with my nose type before
Wide nose wings
Bulbous nose
Wide nose bridge

omg the concealer on nose wings is genius XD putting shadow there would only increase it hahaha
I have a mix of everything 🙂is that normal?
i'm watching this and I'm like bruh, I already do all this, that's crAZY LOL
I just remember analyzing my face and being like, what can i do to help my face?? I remember realizing I should do more with my eyes to distract from my visible nostrils
I even add a beauty mark because well, I love how those look but also it just adds and also distracts from my nose lol
I ALWAYS wear circle lenses too to help
one of the reasons i got my septum piercing was so i can somewhat fill some space between my nose to my lips bc it felt there's too much space there and also maybe the piercing would give the illusion that my nose is a tiny bit longer maybe, also feels like it distracts from how small and short my nose is
Are we the same person ? 😂
My nose is crazy upturned, I have my septum pierced with a stack to give with nose a little more length. And I love adding a beauty mark
@@EIIy and we both like anime & guns aesthetic, we might be the same person 👁👄👁 LOL
What palette does she use in 6:11 ?
What if u have a flat roof?
My nose has a really flat kinda not existent bridge and then a big tip… how to contour 😖
Why am I binging through makeup tutorials when covid happens n nobody can see my face 😂
I'm not Asian, but my nose is more similar to the girls in this video. I have a bulbous + upturned nose.. I think my mistake was blending the shadow outwards instead of inwards
I'm not Asian but this helps.
I have wide forehead, big nose, and round face but its not advisable to have bangs if u have wide nose what do i do 😭
Jisoo, 😍
does anyone know the palette used at 6:10?
i actually love my nose lol
My nose bridge and root have same width and my nose is super tall, contouring by professionals makes it look too many and sharp which absolutely doesn't suit my face with babyish features.. can anyone help?
what is aygeosal?
