There are a variety of types of mochi filling, such as ice cream, red bean, strawberry, etc. The filling we are going to show you today is whipped cream and fresh mango, which I think is one of the best. In one bite, you can taste the silky cream and the sweet mango, plus the chewy glutinous dough outside, it tastes so good!

🥭 Mango Mochi Printable Recipe 👉bearcusine.com/creamy-mango-mochi/
Pro Tip: To make the cream/mango filling easier to handle, shape cream/mango into balls and freeze for 30 min to one hour. Fresh cream can be frozen and takes 10-15 mins to defrost and turn to its original whipped state. Yummy!
Great idea!! In this way it will be easier to make the mochi bigger 😜
Bear Cusine 100%! Also, make big batches and store in freezer, defrost and WOW it’s like FRESH made! This is a dangerous tip though... mochi dessert is so addictive!! :-)
I made these tonight with my little sister- very good! I made a strawberry version too. I shaped them by wetting the edges of the dough circle, folding it like a potsticker, and then bunching it together and setting it seam side down.
I love your video, understandable, easy to follow instructions and you showed how to steam it in a way that did not use the microwave, which I prefer, plus the instruction on why to tie a towel around the lid was very informative and important. I can't wait to try this, it looks very yummy. Got my mangoes ready!! 😊
Great recipe and great video👍Thanks for showing us how to make it step by step. 💕

Scrumptious Mango Mochi !!! Thanks for the great recipe appreciate the hard work and dedication u put in each an every video. Definitely I will try this yummy creamy mango mochi !!!
Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️
They only serve these mango whipped cream mochi at Chinese dim sum restaurants here. I made the dough just now but I used mango juice instead of water so it would look like the restaurant ones. Had to add extra juice/water to get it to your stirring consistency. The dough itself is so tasty! Can't wait for it to cool down to wrap the mango and whipped cream!
That is a really great idea!!! Thanks for sharing :) will definitely try it next time 😃
How much more juice did you add
I've never seen mango mozzi before. Thank you for sharing the delicious recipe.

Suggest to use a small bowl (3-4 inches diameter) make skill dough one by one. It is easier.

Looks like Japanese moch recipe. Very interesting dear! I watched recipe directions several times. Chewy and tasty!!!
Yes!! I love the chewy dough so much😋😋 I've got the glutinous rice flour from asian market, I think all of the Asian market in US should have this😜

Never knew the skin of mochi too so much work to make. I may just stick with the store bought ones despite it might being, as you say, worth it. My daughter wished you had titled it "Magnificent Mango Mochi" for the alliteration.
Thanks for watching Barry☀️ and please tell your daughter thanks so much for her suggestion❤️we appreciate it! and we will think about it for our next video!!😜😜 I love ice cream mochi from the store, they are so great (except it doesn't have this fresh mango filling in US, so we have to make it at home😂)
Nice recipe 👌 👌👌👍

Thanks for watching 😍
Btw ur meant to put butter in it after u steam it so it won’t stick
سلام این اردی که درماهیتابه تفت داده شد، کجا استفاده کردین. چون ارد اول 1/2کاپ بود که تفت داده شد ولی ارد بعدی که داخل خمیر موچی استفاده شد 1کاپ بود
Hmmm😘👍🏼🌸🌹
Wow an amazing recipe. 👌🏼👌🏼New visitor. Keep in touch.
These look amazing! Do you know how many calories are in one mochi?
Hi, I just calculated. One mochi is about 267 calories.
Hi!! Do you let the mochi completely cool down before you add the cream? lol i tried using cream as a filling but it kept melting 😭 i heard that its more difficult to have the mochi stick together if its not warm
Hi, the Mochi needs to cool down :) it is still sticky if you press the mochi. And always keep the cream cool! 😃
Can i use cooked Glutinous rice flour to make the mochi batter instead of raw Glutinous rice flour?
I never tried it in that way! But if you ever try it, let us know how it turns out :)
@@BearCusine i tried it
And it went not like i expected
It can't use
بالتوفيق👍👉
Wow looks soooo yummy......new subs stay connected my friend
This is the most American way to make mochis
If the rice flour is just rice flour and not glutinous rice flour does it works too?
Hi, thanks for watching! I don’t think rice flour would work🧐
Bear Cusine yup... i did it and it was a disaster lol but than i bought the glutinous one and it worked perfectly! Very delicate and cute dish c: thanks fot the recipe
NYC channel big like 👌 👌 👏 👏
Looks great. I'm sure it tastes heavenly good. If there's one thing I would like to comment, it's the skin of the mochi. It is a little thin. Make the skin thicker and it may be even more delicious.
Did u add oil on your gloves or just water? Mine sticks on the gloves alone :(
Prob oil, but flour your hands too with the cooked flour
Yes! Cooked flour helps😃 you can cover some in your glove before dealing with the dough
Oil in mochi? Why?
nice

wow😍🙏👍🔔73👆👏👏👌❤️😍14
all of the Chinese and Korean Chefs that I watch and that have published cook books have NEVER cooked their rice flour, you Sir, are weird.
Hi, the cooked flour helps prevent the dough from sticking to the glove. Since the Mochi won’t be cooked anymore, it is better to use cooked glutinous flour in this step instead of raw flour
Usually when the mochi has been cooked and is to be formed you use either cooked rice flour or corn starch (I'm not sure about tapioca starch) to prevent it from sticking to everything. The cooked flour doesn't go into the mochi dough but is used for "dusting" the cooked dough. If no one cooked their flour their using starch which wouldn't require it being cooked. At least that's what I've learned from watching videos 😄.
