Tbh the “Wild Update” doesn’t really feel like a “Wild update” it feels more like a Swamp and Deep dark update and this mod honestly makes it look like an actual Wild update impressive work
It wasn't even a swamp update because the ususal swamp is still the same, just with frogs. Mangrove is a good new biome tho, but if only they did at least something to the ususal swamp. Like cattails, flowering lillypads and willow trees, these are just normal things a regular temperate swamp should have

This is one of the most vanilla-looking mods I’ve seen and I mean that as a huge compliment. The art style is spot on for both the mobs and the blocks, and the new wood types are just great. The cypress looks so good
This looks great! Something to note: the "dying forest" looks more like a normal healthy forest, since those usually aren't covered in grass and have plenty of fallen trees. A real dying forest would have only a few live trees instead of mostly alive ones and a few dead ones. Besides that, this looks incredible! Probably the best world gen mod I've seen in years
I think the dying forest showed in the video was a small biome crammed between two other and the only trees that were part of the biome were those with little to no leaves. It's probably intended to be a trasition biome like the sparse jungle
Cypress biome is gorgeous! I only wish the trees had "knees" like real cypress do, could just be a grass-like block that spawns occasionally around them
@@LunadeMusic lovely mod! Speaking of biomes maybe something like warm/lush river. Greenish murky water, generates near jungles, cypress wetlands and mangroves. It could have algae floating on surface and ideally crocodiles, although minecraft is against hostile animal mobs, so maybe piranhas as neutral mobs. Just an idea.
@@velvet3784I’m personally against Crocs and Piranhas as well. We do have Warm Rivers, they use sand instead of Dirt in generation and have the Lukewarm Ocean’s color. As for a murky version of that, I’m not entirely sure. It’s something to think about but likely won’t get added as it’ll probably randomly generate in places it won’t make sense.

I am also glad there are icy caves and I think there could be icicles, like dripstone but thinner and maybe semi-transparent. So not just retextured dripstone. Should only be hanging from ceilings but if possible for them to be upwards then it should only naturally appear like this in ice spikes biome. Just an idea if icicles get added but already the caves look really nice
This is what I want with Minecraft. More details. Details are important to make the game feel more alive and unique. It doesn't even have to be big or 100 of them too. A simple mushrooms growing on the trees with some atmospheric fog would do it. It's what is missing in some biomes in the vanilla game. I just love this so much. Also, idk if you take requests, but I have some ideas for future updates. Well, most of them are plants. Red Wood tree, Banyan tree, succulents, Rafflesia Arnoldii, Titan Arum, different types of floating plants, and different types of vines. For new biome/structure it could be giant vertical white tubes on the plains biome where you can enter some of them and in it you can find life there similar to lush cave. This idea is based on the animated tv show about an alien planet called Scavengers Reign. In eps 2, one of the characters found out that the inside of the giant white tubes that she keeps seeing is actually brimming with life. It'd make such a unique structure/biome in the game.
Fantastic work, i love the biomes youve added! Especially the cave ones, if i knew how to mod i would add so much to the game like you have done. Your mod looks amazing❤

Both oaks leaves should be orange, birch yellow and maple red. -Mediterranean biome, we really don't have something like this in game, it can have lavender flowers and fennel, olive trees, occasionally pine and cypress and oaks. Maybe even limestone boulders as light grey stone block. - wooden badlands should have palo Verde tree, truly green planks - temperature variants for beaches and cliffs so their water matches the oceans they are next to and drifwood as stripped logs like fallen trees matching temperatures, nomal-oak, warm - palm/jungle, cold and snowy - spruce/birch/pine drifwood
