I believe that AIT could overtake the Dalek Mod. Just give it sometime to update and intergrade new mobs and planets.

@@DT10 What I am interested in is a companion system like the New Tardis Mod 1.12.2, because you're able to tell them whether or not they should or shouldn't get in the tardis.
Hard to happen, as the creator of the mod specifically wants it to be a TARDIS mod disassociated with Doctor Who in general.

My favorite is, by far, the New TARDIS mod.

As you’ve said, it’s probably because it’s so in depth. The whole experience I had by learning and figuring out the controls was just great for me. You really feel like it’s a living ship that you need to take care of by doing maintenance and memorizing what you need to do for it to actually do what you want it to do. What I also like is that it’s so easy to find. In the other mods, there is a lot of stuff to do for you to get the TARDIS. In this mod, you can get one by just finding a village and simple finding a few bells to feed to it. It’s actually the things the TARDIS needs that are the things that are fairly difficult to get. Like the schematics for the TARDIS interiors and exteriors. Have you ever tried to get into the control room of a Dalek ship? Those pesky Daleks just destroy the floor beneath you and make you fall to your death!
I also understand you by saying that it isn’t well integrated. I mostly used the website of the mod to figure stuff out, and not the game itself. It’s understandable.
@@gamingjo321 yeah, that makes total sense. as i said in the vid, some people prefer more detailed features, its just not really for me. glad you like it though, its a very cool mod!
I love the Dalek Mod it gives so many opportunities for things like a series (like the one I’m doing) and just exploration also love the videos man!

TARDIM actually looks similar to the dalek mod with their exteriors, it's like the box has shrunk down but the doors and walls are fine!

20:40 for the adventures in time mod, using the sonic screwdriver in the scanning mode will tell you if you're in a rift chunk, and it'll also show how much AU is in it!

ooo interesting! the sonic features were relatively new when I did my ait review, so I didn't cover them in too much detail as there wasn't a lot of info out there

Have you seen the Mini Tardis Mod? It's pretty mini and simple.
i really hope that they continue bringing features from the 1.12.2 dalek mod through to 1.16
I imagine they will do, although lots of the main features of 1.12 are already present, and i presume the team will want to go in a bit of a different direction with future updates, adding new stuff as opposed to just re-adding old stuff.
@@DT10 this is true and I think I remember a rumour about a space dimension getting added to 1.12.2 but never happened cuz they updated so maybe we may get that which is exciting, also something to note is the dmu I can’t remember if you mentioned it or not
@@InTheVoid True, we always wanted a space dimension for 1.12.2, with a space station where you could buy stuff. The code for the shops for Sattelite 5 was started on in 1.8 or something, but we never started on the space dimension. I wonder how it'd work with gravity.

It was your face I saw first when I dived into the world of doctor who minecraft lol, also idk if this is possible but maybe there is truly no gravity or very very low but you could create some item which could help you move better like a space suit with a massive backpack that has those tiny air jets to move, just a random idea but anyway hello

i know teab pretty well, so he regularly sends me versions of his mod to playtest and take a look at before they go public. it's a great mod!

while i love the mods that let you grow your tardis i really think you should have to grow them under water since coral requires an aquatic environment to grow

Hi! You're literally the only person, who can help me and who I completely believe in doctor-who way. Soonly i will be playing with my fellas the 1.16 dalek mod, but first time in survival. My favourite TARDIS decoration is the copper one, but, as you may know, it requires lots of orange plastic. How to get plastic? Is it an ore?
I believe all forms of plastic can be crafted! Id recommend getting a mod called 'JEI (just enough items)', which allows you to search for the crafting recipe of any item (including modded ones) :)
@@DT10 hi! Thanks for responding! I know about JEI, i used it to make ingridients list for TARDIS and many times more. Just it says that plastic blocks are made with plastic and plastic is made with plastic blocks
@@siberianmaster pretty sure you have to use an engineering table to craft it - when you click on plastic there should be an option at the top to show its crafting recipe on an engineering table. plastic also drops from autons, so you could try creating a bit of a farm? hope that helps a bit, sorry dont have the recipe off the top of my head lol

Cool video, very helpful, but for me the best tardis mod is still a tardis mod for 1.7.10. So sad it was discontinued. I can't find anything better.
only thing that sucks about any of these mods to me is the fact that almost all of them are on different versions meaning you can't really mix and match if you FX want all of the extra features from the dalek mod but also want one of the more in depth tardis experiences from the other mods.
there is a version of the dalek mod available for 1.19.3, which just adds the daleks themselves - i imagine this would be compatible with tardis refined v1. although yeah i see your point - maybe at some point in the future they'll all be on the same version!
I did really enjoy this video but you need to increase your bitrate in your recording software
thanks! I'm pretty sure the bitrate is fine though... make sure you've got the video set to 1080p on youtube for the best quality. could you get a timestamp of where the quality drops please?

That's an old dalek mod version. He said he's doing 1.16.5+
yeah, I tried to make sure all of these mods are for more recent versions of Minecraft, 1.16.5 being the earliest version
Good video, but it's kind of weird that it's a mod about TARDIS but you don't actually use them in the video...? I know you gave them all an in-depth video but it's a strange decision to not give them at least a minute each of seeing them in action in this video lol.
I figured it would be more beneficial to compare the process of getting the TARDIS, since the actual flight system is fairly similar in lots of the mods, whereas getting a TARDIS is quite a different experience in each one. it's also not just about the TARDIS, it's about doctor who mods as a whole, hence why I showed the kerblam system in the dalek mod :)
@@DT10 Ahhh okay I see, thanks for the explanation. I was recommended your video out of the blue and I have little experience with Minecraft mods and none with Doctor Who mods. So when the Tardis is built and I'm like "Oh boy, it's finally done let's see how it flies!" then it cuts to next mod, I was just a little disappointed LOL.

I know lol, it's a bit mental. It includes the flights both ways and all the accomodation etc, but it's still an insane amount... I'm about half way now with fundraising tho which is good
all of the good ones are either on older versions than 1.20.1 which i like to play most, or fabric 😭
unless you've got other major mods you play with that are forge exclusive, I'd highly recommend using fabric. many mods seem to be switching to it, and it has far better performance mods etc already

i dont know how to dowload dalek mod
sorry for the late reply! I've since included a tutorial for downloading forge in the description of the video, since I just forgot to put it in the actual thing. as for downloading the dalek mod, literally just follow the link in the description and press download on the latest version.
