My suggestions,
Probably like 2 levels of fall damage animations depending on the height.
And maybe even certain death animations for certain scenarios?
Or maybe even like panicking when the player is on fire?
The horse riding animations remind me of the ones in the LEGO games lol, it’s great!

I suggest giving a little shake when player is pulling the crossbow to make it feel like the player is using a ton of force and btw amazing animations hoping for more!
All i have to say is thank you for making this, i myself make small animations on block bench and i cannot imagine how long this took you, thank you genuinely ❤.
i was originally dismissive with the first video because of how tedious changing pov in bedrock is, but now i'm hooked since theres first person stuff

uhh im not the one making the mod but, facial expressions are hella hard because of every player having different eye colours and forms, and with the mobs, since it would be a texture pack, other texturepacks would glitch mobs.

possible ideas that you may already know xD:
When you fall into the shifting snow, you start to shake and your arms are drawn up as if to protect yourself from the cold.
When poisoned, it could turn greenish, coughing, covering your mouth.
When you burn and run, have your arms up as if desperate
When he falls from a great height, he starts to move his arms and legs and when he hits the ground (hurting himself but not dying), he leans on the ground with one hand as a superhero entrance xD
special death animations perhaps?
These are some of the ideas I thought of when watching the video hahaha

The animation controller must be a mile long! And the math in the actual animation must be, too.

Is it storing variables to track which part of the animation its at, or is it mostly state transitions?
Also, did you get the first person animation preview in Blockbench to work? I haven't been able to get it to, and its really annoying lol
Also, what happens when the player has a shield in their offhand?
took me 2-3 hours to implemetn the crossbow! Btw the shield will be either hidden or a special animation will play, rn im thinking the player with load with their t e e t h
Also I dont use variables that much so the controller is really really long💀

That camera is yours??? Omg you keep doing excellent work with this mod!! I'm torn on the animation mods that we do have, especially player ones, but yours are so lively and unique that i might sincerely add this, it just looks too good not to add!
I suppose my one critique, and it isn't just yours that does it, would be that any forward movement always looks just a little funny because the player model is set too far forward. Their center of gravity is all wonky! Leaning their torso back while letting their lower half lead will make for a more natural movement 😊 check out some references of people running! They always tilt their head back and lead with their hips!
Everything else looks just so good and I love every thought you put into subtleties and minor animations. I'm a big fan of the sneak overhaul x3 Super excited to see what else comes of you!

Have you tested how the animations behave when the player has their speed changed with things like haste, slowness, speed, and mining fatigue? This looks great.

Just a suggestion: don't put it on Marketplace (no offense against console players) but then everyone would have to buy it for minecoins , which not everyone has , u can make it a mcpack and use url booster or make us download pack by watching some ads , which can help u too.
At the end its ur choice on what to do.

yore doing SUCH A GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT JOB, you listened to the slower running thing, but now about other mobs, id be cool to have custom slime animations, if not, thats ok. PD: id like if squeeze animation was kinda more subtile, i think it needs it.

Though I have to ask. How does the bow pull look like with Steve's hand pulling the string? Would it be too much clutter?

im currently working with someone to add additional particle for my pack, if successful i’ll ask him to make custom sound for it
