@@timPA44 old roomie who is a guitar player, didn’t care too much for dave until he was always up on the 60 inch tv in our living room, and then he watched him, and how he played, and became a fan. My old roomie taught me that what he did with his hands was not easy/normal!

I almost fell out of my chair when I found this and saw the set list... and Dave all by himself. His voice sounds great despite his phlegm problem 😉 Got so much love for this man and his love of playing... and playing for us.

its legendary how hes all over the place fucked up and then just jumps in to perfect pitch and multitasking like hes sober or like he pre recorded it!!! Its so amazing just like him!!! the first song I ever herd from him was of the scream sound track back in the day!! The song help my self got me on his music!! my childhood!!!!!!!!!

I still think the Taylor sound better than the Rockbridge? Thoughts?
1000% the best guitar he played over the span of his career. The black chet was unique, cutting, punchy, almost percussive. The Taylor is definitely the all around full package, clean shimmery highs deep lows. The rockbridges sound lackluster imo. They usually just get lost in the mix, save for this year where they had him turned way up; a welcome change imo!

Grandiose. Never seen such a solo performance by Dave before. Two hours of sheer joy... From his pure talent and heart of gold, to his interactions with the (quite uncivilized, I dont hesitate to say) crowd, his genuineness is so palpable and touching. I've litteraly weeped with joy at his concerts...
I remember this show like it was yesterday. I lived 3 blocks away and paid $400 for a ticket. I had to go!!! I drank a bottle of wine and watched him dazzle us.

How does Dave's voice sound better live? I dont think he puts any time at the recording studio...he just ad libs lyrics and beats....a true living legend

Absolutely phenomenal. Favorite version of The Stone, Fool to think, Raven, All Along the Watchtower. Every song is phenomenal live as a solo version by just Dave himself. Can’t thank CCP enough for uploading this in such high quality. If you didn’t, I wouldn’t be able to watch this show as much as I do, let alone know it exists.

I've seen tons of DMB shows, four D&T shows (3 in 2003, 1 much more recently), but I've never been to a Dave solo show. His voice is very striking here...clear as a bell, nuanced, gorgeous. Was it that way all along, or is this a top drawer showcase of his vocal abilities?
He's always been top-notch live. One of the best performers of all time.
He also admits he uses a vocal coach to keep it pristine!!!
Only hearing on channels like these, a few solo live performances , I'm gonna be bold and go with "Top Drawer Showcase " the whole feel of this Rooms acoustics and the selection of songs to perform, this is as good as it gets . I feel....

I've seen Dave a lot and I've noticed he only mentions the current city he's in as being a "cool place" He's never been in Fayettvills NC and mentioned anything about Seatle. Strange since he likes it so much in this video.
