Those Dracaena's are absolutely BEAUTIFUL :-D and I love the variegation on them, and the Lemon lime is a big beauty and it looks so wonderful in its new pot, thanks so much for sharing the repotting Nell, and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from across the Emerald Isle for a wonderful weekend XXXX
Hi Lyn! Greetings from the insanely hot Sonoran Desert. I love anything with chartreuse so these jazzy Dracaenas are right up my alley. Sending PLANT POWERED hugs to you across the Emerald Isle! XXOOOO Nell
I bought this plant so I searched on UA-cam to find more information about this lovely plant, you explained very well thanks for the info much appreciated.
What a lovely plant and it definitely enjoyed being potted up! Looking forward to the care video 👍
Hi Sylvie - This plant is very happy in its new pot. I'll do a care video, probably in Spring. Nell
I also have a Dracaena and it's about 5/6 feet and I propagated it. It so big I'm going to get somebody to hold it up to see if I see roots. I used regular potting soil miracle-grow and it's done well. The ones I propagated are growing really nice 🙂 I love this plant. Thanks for the tip.
Your videos are always so informative thank you be blessed keep growing
Hi Velvet Satin - You're welcome! My plants are blessings too. Nell
You always inspire me
Well thank you Leeza! Nell
Wonderful video! Thanks so much! Got a new lemon-lime today. My other 4 ft one suffered an accident involving my grandson! (Oh well) lol I wondered if you ever misted yours or thought it was necessary? Thanks!!!
I just purchased a small dracena "white bird" with beautiful dark green & stark white colors. It looks just like the one you are showing. In this video you commented about the lower leaves not being as vibrant colored. My question is: after you repotted this plant, did those lower leaves regain a more vibrant color? I always enjoy your videos. Thanks so much!
Those Dracaena's are absolutely gorgeous 😍 It's so great to see you again. Thank you for sharing this video with us🪴 Can't wait to see an update on the new growth. Have a wonderful day
Thanks, I have one of these, it seems to be a very slow grower. But then I cut it off, but it came back.
Hi Cindy - Mine grows fairly slowly too. It was 3 tiny plants plated in 1 pot years ago. Nell
HI:) I was wondering if you knew how long a fresh cutting of this lemon lime dracenea plant can survive out of soil. And, if it would do ok w/ the base at least in water ... As I am moving across the country & want to take one of the parts of my plant w/ me but it would be w/ me in my car for 4 nights. Do you think it is hearty enough?
Why do you add more compost if fox farm already has alot worm castings, bat poop ect in it?? I'm new to the gardening word so I'm just asking! Would this also be a good soil mixture for pothos and cathea?
Can you do a care review of duranta erecta? I cant find a lot of info on it or a source with comprehensive information on it.
Hi Ash - I've never grown a Sky Flower. They got very big in Santa Barbara where I used to live. I've never seen 1 growing here in Tucson. Nell
Can you please give us the mixing proportions?
So the water will drain through the paper bag at the bottom?
Yes it should, but it won’t let the dirt drain out of the holes in the pot.
would...
Hi Nel, I'm having some issues with my Dracaena lemon lime having yellow spots and brown patches on the leaves and the leaves being wiggly. It also appears that the yellow/white areas of the leaf are separating from the green areas. Is this from too much/too little and inconsistent watering? I live in the UK and struggle to know how often and how much to water, do you have any advice? The plant is potted in a ceramic planter if that makes a difference
I always water my lemon lime when the soil is dry about 2 inches down. Also they don't like tap water at all. I give mine rain water, or if I'm out I'll give them a bottle of room temp spring water.
@@aimeedawn6628 Would room temp water from a Brita filter be OK? Thank you for your response :)
@@Khaatana sure! Anything besides tap water. Its full of salts and minerals. I hope it helps. It really did with mine. :)
Hi Khaatna - Yes, Aimee is right. Dracaenas are sensitive to minerals in tap water. It could also be due to a bacteria or inconsistent watering. Nell
@@aimeedawn6628 Yeah that's what I'm stuck on I've used filtered water since I got it over a year ago, but the brown/yellow spots seem to be getting worse atm. I'm gonna start making sure it's definitely dry 2 inches in and see what happens.
