I have a vibration damper on my Quad Lock, but why is this only an iPhone problem? Maybe make phones that aren't so fragile. I say that because Tackform has a warning on their website for iPhones, and only iPhones. I'll stick to Samsung phones which I've run on motorcycles for years without vibration dampers, and I've never had a problem with image stabilization possibly because Korean products are of a higher quality than Chinese products.
I used the Ram Mount for the last 12 years with no issues, the QL failed on me on the first day I got it on my bike. Guess what, it'll never see my handlebar again.
My rokform mount ruined the camera on my phone.
I put a vibration damper and so far no problems.

Shouldn't be an extra to buy. I've used ram mounts and even their quick release charging mount and didn't need to buy an accessory to keep them from vibrating my phone to the point of breaking it. I hate the idea of a thick case with a bump in the back of it too.

I just got a Quad Lock Pixel 8 case. The center plate, you know the one that the entire mounting system depends on, was popped off. It's only held on by 8 tiny little glue points. Such a terrible design. It should have been a molded part of the rest of the mag centerpiece.
Looks like my ride thru Hampden and Somers.

Finally caught a new episode! Really enjoyed it man. I’ve heard bad things about the quad lock ruining the image stabilization. They now have that rubber mount that is supposed to mitigate some of it. Hahah you just mentioned it. Hahaah. I know JP1970 had a video about this. Ride safe brother.
Thanks man! Phone is now fixed but I’m super hesitant to stick another phone mount on my bike. Hondo garage apparently makes a dampener that really works, but the full setup isn’t cheap. Expensive learning experience here for sure. Ride safe dude!
