    Volvo alarm has also a tilt sensors. This option should be disabled when your Volvo is towed or (in my case) when traveling on a ferry. If you won't disable this option in the menu your car will sound the alarm.

    It should also trigger full alarm activation if you close the bonnet without unlocking first 😁 4:11

    What does the LED indicate?

      Alarm active (blinking slowly), alarm triggered (blinking fast), alarm not active (no blinking) 😁

      @@SteffeL2 are you able to lock the car without the alarm being active?

      @@julianporter5 Should be able to, although it'd be a bit convoluted. Sit in the car, lock the doors manually with the knobs on each door, then lock with the key from outside.
      Could do reduced alarm, but that only turns off the movement sensor afaik.

      @@SteffeL2 so there is really no concept of using the car without the alarm in operation? Not being a youth, alarms are a bit of an optional add on!

      @@julianporter5 Not that I know of, no. It's probably possible to disable via Volvo, but they all come with alarm as standard as far as I know.
