    Excellent Advice ! No worries about the state of the car’s appearance , typical UK weather ☔️. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’ve owned our Volvo V70 , 2,0 litre diesel, 6 speed manual transmission for a year now. I’m now convinced Volvo is one of the best and safest cars in the world. Best regards, M. Svika 🇱🇻

    Great vjdeo! My Volvo 2006 XC70 is one of the most progressive automobiles I have ever owned. The comfort features are boundless.
    Previously I had a newer Cadillac........it was JUNK! countless expensive mechanical problems, no reliability.
    I never drove my car hard. Always kept the vehicle maintained.
    I love my Volvo!

    Press and hold lock/unlock button to close/open all windows. You don't have to hold it all times. But, if you press once again then windows will stop it that moment so you can open windows in half or third...

    I’m no stranger to the old cable pull-to-engage / push-to-disengage manual handbrake in the last century so I find it strange that today’s electronic equivalent of the leaver does the opposite.
    I’m still trying to convince my muscle memory that what was logical for cable action (pull) is actually OFF and ON is (push). LOL!
    My body still think otherwise but as long as I’m in charge - I’ll decide what’s what.

    You need to add the worming up lock and tea part is great just should have added that doing that you void your insurance! If you do that and police see it you void your insurance and thus as you drive off you can get done for driving without insurance!

    My car remote key can be removed from the key slot while the engine is running. It doesn’t have the motor pulling it in the slot so it can be pulled out any time. I do this when I have to run back in the house if I have forgotten something. Handy feature! Sometimes I can pull the key out with the engine off and it will restart without the key too! Not sure why it does that since mine doesn’t have keyless entry/go as far as I’m aware!

    A preheater is the best thing you can add to your car. After 30 minutes ice and snow is melted and the car is warm inside and the engine too. The life span of the engine will be extended too.

    • @danielfreifeldtaisen
      @danielfreifeldtaisen Рік тому

      I agree Preheater. If you turn on your car and go away for your own comfort. I think its quite selfish. It pollutes like HELL and instead of driving of immediately actually using that wasted pollution/energy/heat... How the smoke clouds were big back in the 80'es I still remember those mornings. But its never too late to change. Preheater !!!!! (OR go electric)
