On my last race I got so stuck thinking on a mistake I made at the first corner, that I kind of prevented me from improve. When the race was over the results showed that I was kind of OK. It could be so much better with the focus I usualy have racing.
Try driving one handed in the first training session... Do 5 laps with your left hand and 5 with your right hand only. It's a tip that ryan gave a while ago and worked for me
Hello Ryan, I have recently moved from Rentals to Rotax. I am able to hit the apexes but I tend to carry very low speeds into the corners. What should I do to increase my confidence, trust the grip from the soft tyres and carry more speed through the corners ? I am currently around 1 second off the pace but I am struggling to close this gap! Thanks
As a fellow karter, i'd reccomend (if there's overshoot area) start trusting the soft tires a tiny bit more every few laps. if you miss the apex, don't brake and steer, you'll spin. let off the brake and go through the overshoot. it's better to sacrifice the turn than the kart.
I still struggle a lot in the first laps, specially when I start well in the grid, I really feel pressured in those occasions
I’m new to owning my own kart. It’s a 125 Rotax Max Sr, non-Evo. Wondering about brake set up … pressure by foot only or by leg also? TQ

Hey Ryan, one of my main issues with my driving style has to be my posture. Do you have any tips to help me with it?

most of my opponents look behind before i pass em
6th- Win or lose have a donut 🍩 at the end of the race and move on to the next one, it’s just racing so have fun!
Why do you still use the micron 4?
I’ve heard in the past the exhaust temps read more accurately on the mychron 4 for whatever reason. I don’t know if it’s true or not.
I also heard that other teams could get access to the telemetry remotely on the more modern Mychrons. Not sure if it's true though
