62TE Pressure Switch Rationality, P083B. Limp Mode - No Stored Codes - Grand Caravan

Intermittent transmission limp mode, 62TE, with pending P083B code - LC Pressure Switch Rationality. Remove Front transmission cover and remove solenoid pack electrical contactor cover. Clean all electrical components with alcohol, replace cheap and accessible parts (mileage/age) and reassemble. Transmission is shifting perfectly and flawlessly for last 2K miles. Repair would be relevant with other stand alone rationality codes.

So I've rewatched this a few times and im still slightly confused did you just clean all the parts or did you replace anything? Also not trying to be rude just genuinely confused! Im having a similar problem where im stuck in third gear but it wont shift even if i try to "manually " shift

Both. I replaced the TCC lockup solenoid and the Transmission Pressure transducer (sensor) based on access to parts and age. The cleaning is what resolved the standalone intermittent code P083B. The P083B would've also been resolved by replacing the entire shift solenoid assembly.

I'm working on a 2013 Chrysler 200 2.4 has the code P083B LC Pressure switch rationality. Runs good for few minutes then gets stuck in 3rd gear, had P0882 and replaced TIPM/fuse box and code cleared with scan tool but transmission going into limp mode with that code coming up (P083B). Should I try to do as the same as you did in this video?

Sorry for delayed response. Did you find a solution to your problem yet? If you have no other codes, but a stand alone P083B it might be worth trying what I did.
