Good question.. With this company we're I'm at has a procedure that we need to follow.. and another thing.. weld a 1/4 rod with my SA-200 gasoline is to aggressive to the motor..
I'll probably have to buy one of those Multifunctional Clamp Meter to tell you exactly what's my amp settings on each pass.. I could tell you that I'm running 3rd gear and 65 for the root pass on my SA-200 but every machine sets differently..
Yes.. both, pipefitting and welding.. Some companies provide pipe fritters, and they are in charge of taking measurements, cut pipe, cleaning the bevel, and fitting process for the welder, in another word the welder just welds, know.. in my case we (welders) have to do everything, take measurements, cut pipe, clean the bevel, fit our own pipe and weld it..
Just curious why you don’t fill and cap that with 1/4” 7018??

Up here if it’s above ground we run 6010-bead 7018hr if it’s below we do that😊
Can you get footage on how you do your buttons at the end of your cap
I'll keep that in mind for next video 😉👍

Is this considered pipefitting/welding?

I only bought the carbon fiber and I fabricated the wood to fit this big lens
