There are plenty other vids out there actuslly accurate. Can't think of any deftones song that actually sounds like this.its not bad and could certainly help some people make some music, but this isnt anything like deftones. Guitar isn't groovy or moving enough its boring. Drums arent groovy or mocing enough, its boring. Bass isnt intricate and creative like deftones, instead, its boring. The vocals dont follow chinos structure rather something gothic, and they are also, boring. Overall this is entirely, boring. Comapred to deftones that is. Deftones is more upbeat and interesting, even in their slow songs. The drums def need more groove, the guitars dont need to be technical bit this is def way too simple, the bass isnt interesting, and the drums arent grooving also the snare is waaaay too quiet, listen to a deftones mix youll come to find snare is the second loudest element of the mix. Deftones doesnt bury their drums at all, their one of the lead elements. The guitar js way too loud, and the bass isnt mixed correctly so it sounds muddy, instead of split toned and having some distorted twang. The vocals... Well... Entirely off and the effect doesnt sound good. In any rock or metal mix, unless its a small piece, slamming the effects like that sounds terrible. Maybe if you turned the phaser/delay here down to like 2% output, its just way too much man. Not even mixing opinion wise, like talking comparative to deftones. Idk. Can't help but feel none of this was considered before thar being said. This isnt accurate at all.
