So Simon would have to buy into every one of the inter-sectional "victim" groups, lose any humor, become perpetually offended and yet nasty, and identify himself as something other than a white male. Only then would he be considered.

When the cast of the Big Bang Theory renegotiated their contacts recently I was sort of surprised how Simon gets paid roughly half of what the "big 3" get (Kelly, Sheldon, Leonard). I consider the Howard character one of the best on the show.
Yeah! Howard is way better than Leonard. All Leonard does is fidget with his fingers, squints and say awkward lines. And Howard actually has a girlfriend! (Or wife) It's annoying.

Simon is by far the most talented actor on big bang theory. He needs more comedic roles
Lorenzo absolutely true... He was the only comedian and a good one... Also, his character, Howard, was the most unappreciated person out of the group all because he wasn't a Dr. In Science or Medicine... I'd say his field of study and degree as an Engineer is more practicable in every living than the rest of his colleagues of useless philosophers... Without him, their online gaming prowess, robotics, use of certain appliances, etc, would be zero.
Really. He completely out acted everyone in the show. It seemed clear to me he was on a completely different level.
The scene form Vampire's Kiss where Cage recites the alphabet is pure gold. I saw that movie at the theater as a teenager and my friends and I thought it was a hilarious comedy. After a few years and more than a little maturation, we realized it was about a guy who has literally gone crazy, which is actually pretty depressing.
This is funnier than any scene of the big bang theory, ever.

Simon Helberg really is wasted on The Big Bang Theory because ever since I started watching it he always stood out as my favourite, but he is so under utilised as opposed to the sheldon character or leonard.

Kass M I'd honestly say she plays the part well, she isn't all like her character, but she does have the freedom to incorporate herself a lot more than the rest of the cast! Don't forget, she's the only one out of the main characters and most of the recurring that doesn't work in a university or a lab

i like that simon feels the same way i do about cage. he is, not was, so good. sure his movies lately have been just mediocre. Joe was actually really awesome. some of my favorite movies are cage movies, i don't give a fuck what people say
Cage has done some entertaining stuff, but as he entered middle-age and the parts became a little less "choice," everyone basically realized at once that he's a bit of a one-trick pony. Eccentric Guy, Drunk Guy, Southern Guy, Himself. That's his range.
i don't why he's chosen to do shitty movies recently because he's a better actor than those movies. that's like saying artists who only paint one way are one trick ponies when they are probably skilled doing other artwork, but maybe they just want to do that style. maybe nick cage is rich from all what he's done and he doesn't care to make AAA movies like before. but drunk guy, southern guy, himself, eccentric guy, those are more than "one trick." he does comedy well (kick ass, gone in 60 seconds, raising arizona) and drama (adaptation, joe).
I watch Con Air at least once a year.
Nick Cage is neither good, nor bad. His acting goes completely off this scale and explores a whole new world of emotions and thoughts unimaginable to most human beings. Some say he's crazy, others say he's a genius. Maybe he's both, but no one can deny that he is fascinating.
i would say he is a good actor. if we're talking bad actors, i can name bad actors. kristen stewart, jesse eisenberg, ashton kutcher, etc etc. those people just can't act and if they are on screen, they're only good at one particular role (which is whatever role that got them famous), but that still doesn't mean i like them in that role. i still enjoy cage movies to this day. raising arizona, leaving las vegas, adaptation. sure he's made ridiculous movies, but that doesn't devalue the rest of his work. i wouldn't say cage is a brando or eastwood, but he's definitely not a kutcher or stewart.

This is why Big Bang Theory is on top -- every single one of these actors bring so much to the table. It is like eating at Laundry or Per Se with a side of fries handy at all time. Class and fast (quick-witted).
I think Helberg is the only one that is truly funny. The others are mildly entretaining, but not really funny.
