His joke deliveries were very weak, like when he said he was gonna have a cuddle party with Randy and immediately took it back, even just a brief pause making eye contact with Randy would have had the audience screaming at that point.
The material about his wife wasn't great to begin with, his delivery was very insecure and that's why he bombed, mystery solved.

This is exactly true. I'm willing to bet that there are many men out there that actually do go for that type of woman as well. I think people are having a hard time understanding Kunal's jokes. He definitely has a British influenced sense of humor, but I'm sure there are Indian qualities to it that aren't getting through to me as my only reference to Middle Eastern and South Asian humor is Maz Jobrani. Either way, I know what he's saying is sarcastic and a bit snarky and that's exactly what he was doing when he mentioned being with a beautiful woman. He knows there's more to a woman than looks, he's just making a joke out of being shallow.

The brilliant author/screenwriter/director is one thing, but without the brilliant actors who fit the roles, the show would never be success. It's a team effort!

My wife is drop dead gorgeous, with a confident and tough personality. I am by no means anywhere near attractive yet she didn't give one fuck about that. Sure there are shallow women out there, just like most of us guys, but when it comes to love and who you marry, it's about how you treat and respect one another. My wife said that what drew her to me was my confidence and my heart, how caring I was towards her. Sure, when I first saw her I was attracted by her looks, but something deep down told me that this is the woman I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. She radiated not just beauty, but it was her self confidence, her intelligence, and how she conducted herself that just drove me wild. It's now been ten incredible years and two children later and we still have the same love we had when we were dating. Love just finds you.

The way I look at it... looks attract but the personality keeps them there forever. Basically the looks starts everything but if the personality just isn't there, it won't work. She's just a pretty face at the end of the day and it doesn't stand the test of time.

Okay, people, calm down! He was probably nervous for his interview so he tried to be funny but most people took it too seriously. He also (probably) mean't that his wife was beautiful for her personality, not just her looks and was also joking when he said to lie about everything. If not, he's a dickhead but otherwise I think he was just nervous and tried to make the audience laugh but they're too stiff and sour to get any of the jokes.
