This takes me back, I had one of these conversions on my 2.8 in the 90's. Used to pull it apart regularly as I incrementally upgraded it. A world of fun. 👍
@@retrorust3395 yes I know but I feel it looks like an afterthought by Ford (with that tinny bracket on the front etc) however that bottom end sounds as sweet as a nut buddy and I think you have a real gem on your hands there. I adore Capris, had five (when they were still in production 😊)

Small amount of copper slip always good on bolts
Chuck the viscus fan away mate and put and electric one one..makes the world of differance 😉 less drag on the engine 👍

Can't believe you mixed the epoxy with a snap on screwdriver. I would have used an old flat blade screwdriver mate.
