Extreme Ballet? Is that what they're calling it now? Awesome Remix my friend, Your series of Classic/Modern/White Space remixes really are Video game OST worthy
Who else notices that the first three levels in 3D Blast mimic the level settings seen in the first 3 levels of the original Sonic? A green, watery plains, some ancient ruins, and an urban place full of spikes and springs - it's the exact same setpieces.
But... Green Grove = Angel Island = Green Hill Rusty Ruin = Marble Garden = Marble Spring Stadium = Carnival Night = Spring Yard Diamond Dust = Ice Cap Volcano Valley = Lava Reef
This remix is really good, but does anybody else think this song could also be reworked into an emerald hunting zone track? Like a hip hop thing with lyrics, because this song also kinda gives me Wild Canyon vibes.
ahbeef um actually this was made by the uploader, these remixes are not in generations, he does them in the style/soundfont of generations, these are not made by sega or sonic team, and i would know because i have generations
ahbeef Instructions on how to cure dissapointment: 1. Download song from a YT2MP3 converter. 2. Put song on Flash Drive (or keep it in your music file of choice if you happen to have the PC version) 3. Put Flash Drive into Console, copy music onto Console's hard drive. (Skip if you have the PC version) 4. Play Sonic Generations. 5. Select Level of choice. 6. Start Level 7. Pause Game, play song's location on Console/PC 8. Unpause Game. 9. ??????? 10. PROFIT!
Man, not a bunch of Sonic games’ zones never really showed up. I mean c’mon Sega, you’re kinda forgetting a few Sonic games you know. Sure, Metal Sonic shown up as a “rival”, but we never truly seen a zone from CD appear in Generations that could’ve actually been a normal level, like Collision Chaos or Palmtree Panic for example. Heck, even seeing a few zones from Knuckles Chaotix or Sonic 3D Blast would’ve been pretty cool too.
I beg to differ, since I enjoyed it a lot if it played like a typical Sonic game, except in an isometric viewpoint that was done much better than say "Sonic Labyrinth" on the Game Gear.
I can honestly say on behalf of everyone who watched the Sonic 3D Blast Demos and saw Diamond Dust Zone got trolled da shit out of by Spring Stadium after beating Rusty Ruins
this is the story about a sonic that lives in the block zone all Day and all night and everything hes sees is those damn flickeys dont run alway from him dammit.
To be honest, the Flickies were not that bothersome to find when they were separated from Sonic because you were not under a time limit like in the other Sonic games, so you'd be able to have plenty of time to explore the levels and find them without having to rush through the level so quickly.
music is all sonic 3d had going for it. the gameplay was empty. was too easy. if you want a hard isometric platformer look for spot goes to hollywood ps1/saturn
Sonic is a ballerina confirmed.
+TheBlueBlur GAMER Yeah, a ballerina that can cut through marble pillars with ease! ;)
+TheBlueBlur GAMER if you think sonic is a ballerina then see mega man with top spin
MightyKid95 Ah, touche! ;)
'Super Sonic Ballet, Super Sonic dance, Super Sonic twirls all the day and night!'
must be because Michael Jackson did a spin before he did his famous toe hop.
"Brings back great memories of fire nicking my flickies as I do extreme ballet through stone pillars." Literally sums up the level in a nutshell.
I love how this remix has a constant powerful energy to it. It's upbeat and full of juice. Makes for a really great workout track.
Sonic 3D blast is such an underappreciated game
I love the Genesis version of Sonic 3D Blast's soundtrack.

...Wait...
This sounds amazing! I totally love the beat in this
Extreme Ballet? Is that what they're calling it now?
Awesome Remix my friend, Your series of Classic/Modern/White Space remixes really are Video game OST worthy
Yes, they're awesome, I'm really thinking about making a game with those musics. It deserves to have a game!
I wish this was in sonic generations
Extreme Ballet may seem fitting how Sonic spins like a ballerina and smashes through roughly damaged pillars!
Genesis had the more upbeat and chiptune-y tracks. Saturn had the higher quality, atmospheric tracks. Happy now?

"I'm never happy."

indeed
Diamond Dust Zone has snow and ice. Snow and ice are just frozen water.
Diamond Dust Zone is just another Labyrinth Zone confirmed
But...
Green Grove = Angel Island = Green Hill
Rusty Ruin = Marble Garden = Marble
Spring Stadium = Carnival Night = Spring Yard
Diamond Dust = Ice Cap
Volcano Valley = Lava Reef
@@sanicmaniac And the remaining two zones are both factories. Like Scrap Brain, Metropolis, and Flying Battery.
I noticed that to me and you think a like
This remix is really good, but does anybody else think this song could also be reworked into an emerald hunting zone track? Like a hip hop thing with lyrics, because this song also kinda gives me Wild Canyon vibes.
I love the genesis version of this game, and this remix of rusty ruin its awesome
Dude your remixes are awesome!
this wasn't made by the uploader, it was a remix made by the composers at sonic team ya clown
ahbeef um actually this was made by the uploader, these remixes are not in generations, he does them in the style/soundfont of generations, these are not made by sega or sonic team, and i would know because i have generations
ahbeef and completed it 100%
well now i'm just disappointed that this isn't in generations :(

The video was uploaded nine years ago. My goodness, why does time fly like a comet in space!?

I honestly think the Sega Saturn version of Rusty Ruin kicked ass
Thank you 😁rusty ruin sounds more adventurous!
The infusion of the inferior Saturn version's atmospheric tone and majesty marries well into the superior Genesis version's rocking/thumping beat~
"inferior?!?!"
OW *Suddenly when listening remix reminds end of the issue Sonic IDW 14*
100000000000000/10. Remixes are amazing.
me encanta...I love it.
YO THIS IS SO AMAZING SO LIT
BRO THIS SONG RIGHT HERE IS MY FUCKING JAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOOOOW AWESOME!!!
this game wasn't all that great, but the songs were lit
So good, it became the basis for many future songs.
That's a problem a fair number of Sonic games have...
That's for sure!
Check out the sonic 3D blast ost on Genesis
The game sucked but the music was lit
Xander Wayne I honestly liked this game. I had it on Sega Saturn. I still have it to this day lol
Sonic 3D Blast is good!
oh yes that's fresh
Good remix! at times it looks like songs from the Rockman x's saga or the title theme of Spyro 1 in 01:16, Thanks!
Oh so catchy
The gameplay wasn't good but the songs were amazing. This one is the best of them!
I beg to differ, since I enjoyed it a lot if it played like a typical Sonic game, except in an isometric viewpoint that was done much better than say "Sonic Labyrinth" on the Game Gear.
I can honestly say on behalf of everyone who watched the Sonic 3D Blast Demos and saw Diamond Dust Zone got trolled da shit out of by Spring Stadium after beating Rusty Ruins
you rusty fricks!
You fusty rricks
something tells me that that description is probably the most game related one
SpEeEeEeEeEeEn
Increible
this is the story about a sonic that lives in the block zone all Day and all night and everything hes sees is those damn flickeys dont run alway from him dammit.
The second act one makes me sad for some reason.
I love this remix very much😃
too bad they didn't put it in the game
Man this sonic is pro
The krusty krab is in ruin.
Sonic is now a ballerina.
Thanks to the frickos at Sega and TT Games for this game and song!
I thought i ordered Crusty pizza in the rusty ruins but the
delivery took to long and i was
puzzled😁🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍹
I'm I the only one who don't want to save the green flickies? It can't just be me. (Also Like if you're watching 2016)
+CheeseinCrackers Nah, like for vegetables
I dont like the jumping flicky
To be honest, the Flickies were not that bothersome to find when they were separated from Sonic because you were not under a time limit like in the other Sonic games, so you'd be able to have plenty of time to explore the levels and find them without having to rush through the level so quickly.
Losing other flickies: go back to where they were
Losing green flickies: just restart the level
Wish you'd also do the Saturn version :)
Superior version
C+
8.8. Too much water.
Best song next to Green Grove, Diamond Dust, and Panic Puppet
Dr. Reverbnik Bro awesome where can we download your beat tapes ?
Wasn't this the version on VGMusic years back?
This kinda reminds me of mother 3
Knuckles Can't Chuckle or Dance.
the saturn version was the better version
This is the only track I like in the game for some reason.
Sonic Forces anyone?
It's a shame you didn't go Volcano Bakery and incorporate both tracks. Act 2's music is so much better IMO
2nd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
music is all sonic 3d had going for it. the gameplay was empty. was too easy. if you want a hard isometric platformer look for spot goes to hollywood ps1/saturn
