Ok ok....so green hill and marble are on the outskirts of the city....and when you beat the spring yard boss the floor below you collapses because they were building over a crater into labyrinth zone so when you follow eggman out you are in starlight zone then you get to the center of the city wich is scrap brain and the third act you go directly below scrap brain and onto the final boss! *gasp* any....questions?

I met a similar fate with Sonic & Knuckles. No shit, there I was with no rings, no lives and no continues remaining. I was on the last section of Lava Reef Zone Act 2. Knuckles had just knocked my ass below the bridge and onto the section where I'd be side-scrolling my way toward Robotik. The Death Egg ignites the screen, the platform I'm standing on crumbles and I hit lava. I die...game over. Back to the start screen :'( Today's generation will never understand what we went through in the 90s lol
The first time I played this zone I thought it was too easy after labyrinth. Then I ran into the dropping floor traps to the bottom of the level where you die. Still my favorite zone, even act 3.

I like this remix the best it’s more true to the level design as it sound much more industrial and dystopian wonder, especially in the beginning first half of the song. All the other remixes I’ve heard have too much orchestra and fanfare sounding tones in it.

No, it was because the "W" character wasn't programmed into the game yet.
