Thank you to ESR for making this CES coverage possible. Check out their brand new wireless chargers! We do. (Not employed by tesla but a master’s student in robotics) we use stereo camera to sense the depth but the problem with a stereo setup is that the depth information is only accurate up to a few meters (2-5m) whilst in lidars we can go up to 100m and RADAR we can go to Km range. But there does some downside with Lidars and Radars the Information density is lower further we get Think of torch light getting dimmer (hence less photons) as you get farther from the source. Hence fusion between high density low range (cameras), medium range and density (LiDARs) and high range low density (RADARs)
that little scoop, will be a deal breaker in its self.. not for the function, bu its stupied on the roof.,.. So wired that it can´t be behind the front sheild. cheaper to change the front shield, that a galss on a LIDAR unit.

Thanks for giving us the best coverage of CES!
Microvision is the most necessary booth to visit regarding LiDAR
*💥Joshua, this video is really great💥*
5:10 love the star roof )
4D lidar will win
If one can put lidar in ipad then definitely can put it in cars too. Moltivision is good for cars.
Microvision is even better
aWEsome!! 😎😎😎
Nice CES video
2:47 why not just use binocular cameras, like the human eyes? I wonder if that is what Tesla uses?

super insightful!
@@JoshuaChang Omg big fan! Love the quality of the videos very well paced will love to see you grow in the coming years
1:33 concept*
It’s still their brand-new vehicle, tho, regardless of it being a concept.

I was the 62nd like... thought I'd wait till 69 ...sad
