- Опубліковано 5 вер 2024
- This video shows a typical training session with my 16 week old Belgian Malinois puppy! We are training for the French Ring Sport so this session reflects that. We are working on luring, focus around distractions, Heel, Sit, Down, Stand, Stay, Place, Obedience in bite work, prey drive, full/ hard grip counters, desensitizing to accessories, environmentals and channeling back into obedience right after protection! I've included time stamps to give you an idea of the length of the sessions. STAY TUNED FOR PART 2!!!
I would MUCH APPRECIATE a SUBSCRIBE to help this channel grow!!! Thanks for watching! Leave your comments/ questions!!!
Belgian malinois 😍👑
I've been working with my male Mal puppy but I know I have to get a professional involved before it's too late. He's 16 weeks now (future service dog) and is absolutely terrified of traffic and strangers. He's fine once he gets settled in the library or classroom at the college but otherwise just straight panic whenever we set foot out the door and it's not night time. I'm absolutely calm, so i know he's not also feeding off my emotions. I took him out for a pee earlier using luring and we made a bit of progress. I had to keep putting the food under his nose, but eventually it pulled him away from the fear. (I was also doing it as we were coming down the stairs and out the door.)
He's my very first dog ever in my life so i want to do right by him. He's really good with the marker training indoors, has sit, paw, turn, down, up (then down before he gets the food), and that move between the legs down pat. (Only with "yes or Si", no words yet.)
I just worry about his future. I know I've taken on a massive responsibility and I take it seriously.
I really hope your channel grows.. u deserve it
Thank you 🙏🏼 I will certainly continue to build it 💪🏼
This guy is a awesome dog trainer
Thank you very much 🙏🏼
Thx a lot... Sincerely thx a lot... Pls keep sharing this sort of videos, as furnishing us with really important details of puppy training...
Absolutely 🙏🏼
Good idea to have your child near. The dog will get a positive imagination from the smell of your child. Good work. This brain work will definitely satisfy your dog.
Thanks Andy for sharing this stuff! Tomorrow I am getting a 14 weeks old Belgian M, and a 17 weeks old Dutch Shepherd from Hungary. I am very tuned and I definitely will be able to use some of your ideas. Thanks!
Thank you! You’ll definitely like part 2 of this video. Posting that in the next few days 🙌🏻
Great whorck Broo
Wow so attentive
🙏🏼
Really good video! Thank you for sharing your training methods. I’m glad I ran across your channel.
🙏🏼
Loves to bite!! Lol.
Really like ur approach..
Puppy has a serious advantage- own decoy daddy (that can only help when he competes)..
Decoy daddy can multi- task as well.. look after "assistant " while training..
What's the song?.. totally the right one for this training session
Thank you! 🙏🏼 I actually forget what song this is 😬 But appreciate the feedback 🙌🏻
Fun puppy training!
you have a fueture you and yor dog great training keep doing what you doing coatch
Love your videos would love to see more on explanations like a how to series. Saw you did one or two but would love to hear in this video what your saying to the dog and maybe some brief explanations.
Got it. Thanks for sharing! I can certainly incorporate an idea like that 🙌🏻
i can't believe, you only have 3660 subs
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼 I will keep growing! 💪🏼

Love that the kiddos hanging out in vids ,Very good distraction
🙏🏼
Dang, today thought you were going to explain what you were doing lol
Andy your a great trainer what is the best way to discipline your 6 month old puppy
If you arrange the correct lifestyle and training sessions, no discipline is necessary. If you are having trouble, it’s likely you’ve been setting the puppy up for failure.
For treat, what would you recommend? Some of their main food, like a dry food or cocked chicken breast or the treat should be totally different ? And also, the training sessions should be before the main meal so their stomach is still empty or doesn't really matter?
Thank you !
🔥🔥🔥🔥
💪🏼💪🏼
Very cool. How many parts will be? Who doesn't now what is french ring!!!!🤭🤭🤭🤭🤯
I know right! There will be a part 2 that I will publish in a few days 🙌🏻
@@AndyKrueger cool
I really like your videos. I am always looking for ways to work with my Malinois puppy. I have two questions. First, is it dangerous for you to be the decoy in the bitework, as you are the future handler? My dog wants to play, but when he decides to charge me to engage me, he is a rough customer. How do you contain this? Second, where did you get that cool puppy harness?
Thanks!
I only do ‘bitework’ with my own dog pre teething. After that I have him work with another decoy so there is no conflict/ confusion down the line.
I’m not totally sure where I got that harness! Maybe Amazon 🙏🏼
May I ask what was all those bottles used for is it just to get used to all the sudden noises ?
Yes it is for environmental exposure. Loud noises and unsteady footing gets the pup accustomed to somewhat chaotic conditions 🙌🏻
Hi Andy could you please help me and my partner and our beautiful Belgian malinois. He is 5 months old and we rescued him but we didn't realise how special he is. He was in a bad way when we got him because we both just fell in love with him. I started looking on UA-cam for research and you are the best we have found. Now a lot of people say you should not have this dog as a pet because he was bread to be a working dog but we can't give him up he spent the first 4.months of his life outside he had never ever been in a house so it was all very new to him and he was very timid. He was also very underweight, but we've fed him up and he really is coming on good. But we don't want to do him any unjustis because he has given us so much love and he is amazing with my 3 girls and very protective, like when we are out with him and if anyone comes towards us he is proper on guard and tries to bite. Can you please please help us to keep this beautiful animal happy and healthy. We really hope you read this cause we are fans and love watching you with the dogs
Thank you

His tail must be tiring 😁

🙌🏻
what training treats are you using?
How often do you train with a puppy? And should I do everything in a session that is needed for French ring? Or do it piece by piece?
Really helpful video I always enjoy watching your content. When you do bitework and the dog always pulling instead of pushing, how do you fix that ?
I will tag you in a video that may help explain 👍🏻
Watch the ‘Puppy protection training/ 13 week old Belgian Malinois’ video. This may help explain. As soon as the puppy bites, flip them around and hold in between your legs. Then make them push into the grip on the ground
@@AndyKrueger thanks Andy I've already watched all your videos several times cause they're really helpful.
I kinda ment if any dog bigger breed or grown dog that doesn't know you and pulls excessively, how do you fix that and make the dog more comfortable on the bite
@@akisalaib6844 I understand. I would start by teaching the push in behavior on a tug. I’d use a harness and apply back pressure then release tension when I wanted dog to drive in. At this time also gently push the back of the dogs head into the bite, then reward by letting them win the tug as soon as they drive in. Once that’s good, switch to pillow, then sleeve, then ultimately the decoy
@@AndyKrueger that's exactly what I'm doing lol. I also do steps backwards when the dog tries to get a full grip and I try to keep the head of the dog kinda down to feel more like it's he's possession and feel more comfortable.. thanks for all the value Andy really appreciate it 🤜🏻🤛🏻
donyou feed your dog before training?
Sometimes a little, yes.
Perrazos!!! Una pregunta que te pones en la mano para premiarlo en los ejercicios?
Pollo 👍🏻
@@AndyKrueger va gracias esq nose nota q tubieras nada. Por si usabas alguna pasta o liquido
How do i get to view your training videos in order?
Hi Andy, I feed my dog fresh not kibble, with that being said, what do you recommend I use to train my pit, 15 months old. I’ve been using liver treats.
Liver treats are good!
@@AndyKrueger thanks Andy!
Hi I was wondering if you have a Seller I was looking into starting my own yard and asking if you can point me in the right Direction of a Quality Belgian Malinois.
Sorry I do not
Hi I was looking into building my own yard I was asking can you point me into the right Direction into the quality Belgian Malinois
Sorry I do not recommend breeders
@@AndyKrueger then what do you recommend we do to get a dog? Maybe your just too greedy to share...
@@sv8313 I’d recommend doing extensive research on breeders and upcoming litters, then select which breeder and type of dog is best for you. Unless I know the client well and personally, I can not make an assessment what lines will suite them best. Good luck though and I wish you the best in your search 🙏🏼
Were are you from. I want a belgian malinois. and how many Price 6 month train dog
I feel bad for misunderstood dogs
Agreed
Why the harness man?
In case I need to clip on a leash 👍🏻
@@AndyKrueger 😂 I’ve just heard not to use harnesses on my dog. Just trying to soak up info man. Love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for the incredible videos.
@@johnny41315 I understand. Harnesses are NOT good for training Heel or developing ‘leash manners’. I use when they’re a puppy so they can pull and explore without unnecessary pressure on their neck. Then also it’s built into their foundation and I can later use the harness for bitework and tug play 👍🏻
She's a malinois but she keeps jumping up shoving her toys in ya face n barkin when ya tell her down
An untrained Malinois puppy living as a pet isn’t behaving exactly how you’d like??
I’m shocked!!! 😂🤦🏻♂️
You need to hire a professional trainer ASAP! A good one costs several thousand dollars. This is the only chance you will have at success. If not, you will be another owner who mishandles this breed and contributes to the mess. Please do the right thing and do not blame the dog 🙏🏼
Si vas a mostrar a esa niña en cada video ni para q verlo solo distrae y no apresiamos bien tu trabajo
