Always love a fork service/upgrade video. Air spring and damper upgrades are super easy with the right tools. And yeah, compared to a new fork this is an affordable upgrade.
Great video. Rockshox recommend you grease liberally above the air-spring, as that's where the piston does all the work - also, on the air-spring side again, you should drop in 3mls of 0-30w, on top of the piston, so where the tokens are; the oil will keep the piston/seals lubed. I hope this helps for next time.
This is a really great video! I'm going to upgrade the 150 Yari That came with my Hightower. I'll have this video up and running while I do it. I think you can even find Lyrik decals after the upgrade. Thanks!

Thanks for a great instructional video @RydenDirty! I have a question you could maybe help with: I have a Yari Charger RC I was gonna do the 200 h service to. Now I'm considering upgrading both the damper and air spring - if I go ahead with the upgrade, do I still need to buy the 200 hour service kit for the procedure or am I fine with the Dust Wiper Upgrade Kit? In other words, what seals and o-rings and stuff do I need for the procedure since I'm upgrading AND servicing the fork? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Hey thanks for the kind words. And to answer your question. I don’t think you would need the 200 h kit due to the fact all of your parts will be new. On top of that the new damper is a sealed system. You just drop it in and it’s ready to go. Hope that helps
@@RydenDirty Sorry, due to machine translation, I can’t understand the essence of the answer))) I’ll try again. The Yari fork is 160mm, the minimum pressure I can do is 45psi, but it is still stiff for my child. If I put this stem that you have on the video, will it help me make the fork even softer for the child?! I understand that the update has more negative camera, which allows you to add softness ...
Thinking about doing this to my domain fork, apparently I can turn it I to a zeb ultimate this way Gotta say though I'm not super confident I wouldn't mess this up
Great video. I appreciate the walk through. Just one question. When adding the oil, where does it go? I mean, does it go in where the screws thread into the air spring (at the bottom, so push the lower on all the way) or in-between the lower and where the screw threads into the air spring (so make some space and add the oil)? Thanks again. Great video, I learned a lot.
