i superglued a suede panel on one of my jeans and when i washed it, it gave a distressed look, it's super sick. also, if you don't own a sewing machine, take some skinny/slim fit denim to a cleaners/alteration store and tell them to add a zipper lining on the inner-bottom of the denim that way you can adjust the flare to your liking. this look is best for distressed denim.
just tried this on one leg because i accidentally ripped the inseam on the other leg but this tutorial is very helpful and well explained. happy i found your channel, now i can create my own garments !!
Great videos… My son wants to start a custom jean brand and I found your videos for him to use as tutorials. Very well produced and explained. Is there any way or chance u will make any videos on how to make stacked jeans and reverse stacked jeans? We absolutely plan to learn from your flare and panel videos as well as the painter jeans tutorials. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more educational videos 💯🙏🏾
I came back to try this . But when you start talkin my math I get confused af lol . I’m tryna use a Tye for the flare space . Lol Ima wing though . YOU GOATED BRO !
Question. Ive got a baggy carpenters jeans but i want it to taper so i can wear it comfortable. But i dont want to remove its pockets in both sides(carpenters jeans, not a cargo jeans) is there a way that i can retain the pockets on its side? Coz that is the only thing that makes the jeans special.
Everybody who wants a new well explained "How to make flared jeans/pants" tutorial, Like this comment :) (I want it myself, but this video was also good)
Hi Julius discovered your channel yesterday and have watched almost every video of yours. Please make embroidered jeans for men too, not the flowery type but simple designs like skulls aur feathers etc
wow, so i over complicated the fuck out of this and made it my own way, it took me the whole day to do one leg and to figure out my step moms sewing machine. i couldn’t figure out the bobbin thread for a minute but at least i learned how to thread the needle in under 30 seconds 😂 i remember doing a sewing thing when i was in elementary so im kind of familiar wit the machine
@@Julius_Nathvn regular hot glue man. & then i went over it with glue that they sell specifically for denim & other materials. that shit still working like a charm DEFINITELY MACHINE WASHABLE 4 WHOEVER WANTS TO TRY IT !
I can't be the only one that don't k what's going on, lol this literally showed me nothing you didn't explain how you pinned the flare panel and you cut the clips so many times in the most important parts to where I lost track, you never fully went in depth for this to be a tut.
Guess He didn’t break it down to the point where someone whose never stitched in there life would understand but if uve tried tapering jeans normally this was pretty easy to get. U line up the edge of your jeans with the slanted line u drew (face to face), stitch it then do the same on the other side. The jeans both being face to face allows u to follow the old stitch line while sewing as u can see at 5:25 and u can pin anyway u like( to the right, left or straight down where you’ll be stitching ) Not sure exactly where you guys are getting confused but willing to try and help but there’s not much to go in depth with as it’s Like 2 real stitching steps

good tutorial although since you used the same color jeans as flare I was unable to tell the most crucial part
specifically 4:36 and on, theres no real explanation behind pinning the flare panel to the actual inside of the jeans
Thats where im a bit lost right now too. It looks like it was initially pinned to the wrong side and then switched? idk
So correct I can’t even tell what’s going on at that part
Same!!
defo wanna create some personals from these tutorials !!! happy i found this video
Another fire video. I’d love to see a tapestry sweater tutorial video from you.
noted 👍
What’s up Julius , love your videos bro. How did you learn how to sew ? Interested in customizing my own pieces but need to learn a lot of the basics.
Yooo! I’m late sorry lol but I just learned by myself, watching vids on UA-cam and experimenting. Best way to learn is to just do it
Thanks for the new addition to my clothing brand I cut and sew also with my actual brand . Thank you man you help a lot

OMG!!!!! i just found your channel, TOP!!!!!! thank you
any tips on the top of the triangle ? mine look crazy with a hole at the top😭
and do you know to change the flare jeans to normal jeans?
im confused as to how not to sew the leg to itself if that makes sense
what if i just cut the outside seams a bit and dont do all the sewing
what pants are these called
for some reason, the flares on my right side sit where the flare falls in the front, not on the side. any advice ?
Good one.
thx

Might have to cop an embroidery machine for this one unless I can find the right embroideries on other clothes. I’ll save this for the future fasho

Can we use a glue gun instead of a sewing machine ? Will we get the same results?
never tried hot gluing fabric before. maybe itll work but it wont be as secure. also idk if you can wash it.
Nigga said glue lmfao wtf there’s levels to this shit . Get a fuckin sewing machine

just cut inside of ur leg a lil bit easy af
Gotta stop cutting so many clips I keep getting lost when the clip randomly change
Looks like a lot of work.. I’ll just buy them
idk if it’s just me but, shits confusing
i’m so confused
Cutting your clips too much and could’ve used two different color pants to make the tutorial easier
