Yeah whenever I need help custonizing my jeans I go right to your channel. You remind me of when I was younger and eager to create. I have actually got back into this hobby with all the newer fashion styles. I sure wish I made videos of my projects. A lot if these styles and techniques are coming back again. Great work
Este ha Sido el primer video q eh visto customisando ropa, me gusta demasiado este tipo de cosas, espero que la próxima vez q comenté este video sea cuando me convierta en un diseñador famoso
The dremel is cool, but nothing works better than hand sanding with sandpaper. I use everything from 80-180 Grit and I'll even use 200+ fine grit for specific distress patterns. I can distress/destroy a 6×6 area in 20min. I designed a pair that has a cargo pocket made from 2 different color 8×8 pieces of Denim stacked w/ the distressed thread going in an X and then I used Red bonded nylon for the stitch, finished it off with a flap and buckle that went between the layers. Straight 🔥
great video I'm new here but your videos are hella inspirational. Also the spray paint may needed to be diluted with water I came across the same prob so many times but the water slightly helped depending on type of paint, and brand etc.
hey i dont understand the part where you sew the pant sides back together. i feel like im overthinking it but i cant seem to sew it back like the way it looked before i open the pant leg
line up and follow the crease of the original seam. it should still be visible unless you ironed it. sew starting from the hip and work your way downward
I made a pair of distressed jeans in like 30 minutes one day a couple of times I did it when I needed to go somewhere what I do is I Mark the areas off in pin and then I take my scissors and I cut the lines then I'll cut another line where the spaces or maybe an inch wide each line is an inch wide and then I take my Pinchers or eyebrow pluckers whatever you call them and pull the individual little strings out and then you'll have a perfect set of lines
i’m making pants right now and i’m glad you said it takes a while for that distressed look cause i kinda just did that method too for some reason and wasn’t seeing much progress but guess i just gotta go longer. preciate it
Great to see the process, more power to you my guy and much respect... Definitely getting tired of every pair of jeans being distressed nowadays though, they're taking this distressed look way too far and it's starting to just look like a pair of horribly tattered jeans... I miss the days when you can just walk in the store and buy jeans that are nice and clean... No rips, no tears, no bleach, no paint splatter 🤦🏾♂️
Hey what do you mean by using white and black for the stitching instead of just white? Like black for the bobbin and white for the needle?? @5 mins in the video.
I've learned that when distressing jeans, the Dremel is the best method. You have to wash the jeans after you distress them. Another method when it comes to sewing on patches is free arm sew it. Look up videos on that, I may be pronouncing it wrong. But these jeans are so hard🔨🔨🔨
I actually found out after this vid you just have to shake the jeans to remove the excess threads. this project was a learning experience for sure haha
I do this for $ u do decent work. I do recommend looking at a vinyl though so it'd stick for a stencil and u don't get blow out Also, look at a cheap used embroidery machine... And get a sewing machine that can do decorative effects... you'd be amazed at what you can accomplish
You are one of the best creative designer for making distressed jeans. You make it exactly as I would like to wear. 👍👍👍👍

dude the stencil cutter is a must omg!!
dremal was a fire idea man and the pants drape really nice.
This vid needs 1mil more views. By far the best method I've seen thus far. Super time saver and it looks really good
That means a lot truly!! haha
For those who don’t want to use a Dremel, you can use a fish scaler or a cheese grater to get a good distressed look.
Ooh my cheese grater will finally have another use
