When I was trapping rats in Viet-nam, we were careful to catch them in live traps and then drown them in a 55 howitzer case (the box the artillery shells came in). We had to put some oil with the water so that when we removed the live trap from the water, the oil would coat the fur of the rat and the lice and vermin would be trapped in the oil. then we burned the carcasses. This was the method we used to prevent the troops from getting the plague. I hadn't thought of this for a long time until I saw your video.
That is a pretty cool trap, looks like it works great. Thanks for sharing Tyler Have you thought about doing another live stream sometime. I think that would be fun. Have a good week and merry Christmas.
Have a safe & happy holiday Wow that trap is pretty efficient pretty humane way too and I'm sure healthy for the environment Love the content love the channel God-bless
Good morning to Farmer Tyler Ranch and all others too. Thanks for showing a heart full of love/care for your family, farm, and animals. Great video as always 😃see you next time on Farmer Tyler Ranch😍😍😍Hugs and Prayers Merry Christmas everyone stay safe😃😃😍
I like the fact you dont have to keep setting it like a regular trap please keep us updated on how the trap is working i know mice and rats are smart and they will not go near traps after a while
Good your using that instead of poison. Poison makes rats die a slow death and a dog or cat will eat the rat then die from poison. The rats are easily caught after poisoned because they stagger around sick . Thanks for another good video . Keep on living the good country life young man !
Cool trap. I can't stand to touch mice. I'd have to carry a long handled broom with a long handled dust pan. Glad your getting rid of them with out the poison. Have a great day.
We used to get roof rats in our attic and I thought I should put some water right next to the bait, we’ll that was a bad idea because they ate the bait then drank the water and some of them slid down into the walls, and some went underneath the house and quite a few of them got into the duct work and died! It was one of the worst experiences of my life. We finally found where they were getting into the house and blocked everywhere that could have possibly been an entry point for them. Well I’m glad to say after a couple of months and I don’t know how many dollars they were finally all gone. Good luck evicting yours FT.
I've heard really good things about those traps. My husband has one at his workplace. It took out a big ground squirrel one day. Sometimes squirrels and rats will flop around after they've taken a fatal injury, by trap or by projectile. Nerves firing. If I was in the vicinity, I'd offer some crazy hunting kittens. They are from a line of superlative hunters that have murdered every rodent within 150 yards of my house, including gophers, rats, ground squirrels, and mice. They are always hungry for more. They have some Bengal blood in them, making them a bit more keyed-up than a regular cat, but they're awesome.
Crazy thing.... I can't find a single mouse/rat in my big ole garden now. However, I haven't gotten a bite on the A24 - I think I have some highly educated rodents. Seeing my A24, they packed up and moved out. 🤣 (on a serious note, I'm going to move it to another location to see if I can get a few vacationing rodents).
Omg you’re so funny! Loved the ending music with the traps! Those things are pretty darn cool! Glad you got yourself one. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Yu made my day with the ending song and trap strikes. Hope all works out well for you and the rodents. I have a squirrel issue and I am investigating solutions, great video.
I see what you did there at the end... synchronizing the beat of your outtro music with the trap going off! Good on you! I was tapping along with a smile on my face! Haha!
You know that old saying “ a better mousetrap.” Wow to the wow, this thing is brilliant :-) :-) Has to be the most effective trap for small rodent I have ever seen. No chemical, no complicated resetting. Great job- well done and I hope you’re lucky with the rodent control. Happy Christmas, wishing you all a great new year.
Good Morning, Tyler! Rat\Mouse traps! The Cat is at work! Those traps are cool looking! Good Morning, Callie! Trail Cam! A Mouse! Another Mouse! A Third and Fourth Mice! Old Rat! Down and Dead! Second Rat! A Ton of Mice! Good Nature Traps! Thank-you! Great Video! Merry Christmas!
Nicely done. Seems that trap is very efficient in terminating the rodents for you. Like you…very impressed with the two rats that it terminated. Very effective on the job it did on those larger rodents!
Those GoodNature A24 traps have been on the market for years. They work well, but cost a lot of Money like hundreds of $$. In protected areas like shops and barns I like the Victor Muti-catch electric traps.
Have you seen the 5gal bucket rodent traps. reusable and catches upto 40 mice at one time. Go to walmart and look for 5 gallon mouse trap. They even sell them. Check out youtube for a video of how they work.
Great job Tyler, but one thing, cats don't eat rats or mice, they kill them for fun. A cat must be really well fed to kill rats. We have a house cat and every morning we he is let out he goes hunting in the hedges and always catches a mouse, brings it back to the door and plays with it until it dies, then he just leaves it and goes and gets another.
Seems like a pretty darned effective trap for sure...I dont need one where I live...If I do I just use some sticky traps and toss it away when it catches one.
Thanks for showing the kills. I'm glad I saw that before buying it. I have two policies I try to follow. If I catch mice/rats in a workshop/barn/elsewhere outside I try to be humane. It seems to me that mice really don't fit as it crushes their butt instead of head, that probably isn't quick kill. So I'm not sure about this trap. Anyway, once some mouse/rat gets inside, anything goes. I have some really smart rat indoor that evades everything I put in its way. Either steals bait or avoids the trap completely. I tried almost every trap available. I usually have very good success with owltra electric traps. Only downside is that it does not empty itself, so I have to check it regularly. Also, not sure if it's a regional difference but I was never able to catch any mouse/rat with peanut butter (tried several brands), only walnut, salami or bacon.

What a great non poisonous trap…and oh so needed. Moving it around is easy and needed to catch those little buggers!! Good job and thanks for sharing.
I like the way you edited the trap going off in time with the closing music 👍🏻
I laughed out loud! You are having way too much fun editing or you have a lot of spare time on your hands this winter! 😂 A killer video!
👍
Lol literally a "killer" video😉
Those traps work great. I hope that you and your Family have a wonderful Christmas!

Spot-on, nice video
Always issues to address - May you all have a Merry Merry Christmas !!!
At the end of your video suppressing that "Gothcha!" grin almost looked painful. LOL
Thanks for sharing farmer tyler ranch I enjoyed the video
I'm glad you moved away from poison. I've read that it can spread to predators like birds. Hopefully that cat can help too.

Thanks for another good video .

Love how the music at the end is insinc with the firing of the trap!
I love the outro. That is a fantastic trap, and very entertaining. I want to wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas.
Cool trap. I can't stand to touch mice. I'd have to carry a long handled broom with a long handled dust pan.
Glad your getting rid of them with out the poison.

Nicely done. May you and your family have a Merry Christmas FT.

I'm about to set up my first GoodNature A24 trap.
Good luck!
How did it go ?

You’re really getting good at this Tyler … 😎!
Nicely done. Seems that trap is very efficient in terminating the rodents for you. Like you…very impressed with the two rats that it terminated. Very effective on the job it did on those larger rodents!
What a great way to handle rodent pressure without using poison. Might be kind of savage, but it looks like it works pretty effectively.
WOW impressive for sure!! Wish they had them for skunks!! Great product review FTR!!
Good machine for good ranchers like you
Kindly share with us the progress on the cow carrying " cargo".
NEAT!! RAT ZAPPER!!
This was really helpful. Thanks!
5gal bucket, half full with water and black sunflower seeds. Youll have more mice than youll know what to do with in a night.
What a awesome trap!!! Seams like you have a new toy!!! Hope it gets rid of your rodent problems.
Cool device. I saw it on AliExpress and was wondering how effective they were
I got a pretty good laugh at that mouse that got popped going into the trap then as he started to slide back out it popped him again. 🤣🤣🤣
Those GoodNature A24 traps have been on the market for years. They work well, but cost a lot of Money like hundreds of $$. In protected areas like shops and barns I like the Victor Muti-catch electric traps.

What fun, ridding yourself of pests nature's way! Proud you're not using poison anymore!

you enjoyed that entirely to much LOL, have a Merry Christmas
very satisfying sound thaaap
Congrats to your friend's mousetrap company!
You could make this a few more episodes please.
Use flour and baking soda. Supposed to really while them out I’ve never used it. I guess it just plugs them up .
That's a cool trap!
Seems like a pretty darned effective trap for sure...I dont need one where I live...If I do I just use some sticky traps and toss it away when it catches one.
Great way to keep destructive pests out of important areas
Excellent. Never seen one of those.. Much prefer that than poison. 👍👍👍🚜🚜👍👍👍
Laughed pretty hard at the ending credits.
