Buy a KTM if you can afford customising it for your liking. FuelX to solve low end torque, cintered brake pads and a memory foam seat. Regarding KTMs 12v socket 😂. Bhai what about tyre inflators. Type c inflators? And the KTM guy is so wrong. Its not just the TFT when it comes to tech. Where's the lean sensitive cornering abs? No KTM hater will ever talk about that. Scrambler is a superb bike to ride. Bajaj is very clever. They know that KTM wont bring a Retro Scrambler ever. So they ventured into that space to fill the void. KTMs for ADVs and modern Street, Huskies for unconventional roadsters and Triumph for retro bikes. Tummy full.
bro it was expected from you guys to make a video for clear confusions. and here, you both are confused yourself. so what is the point for making this videos!!!
As i have riden both,.. Ul neva get the adv 390 cmfrt in scram x... Adv is just soo easy light weight, sitting position is sooo cmfrtble.. Ofcourse both the bikes are different breed.. Adv is a proper adventure and scram is an allrounder... My pik is anyday ktm adv 390 a jack of all trades!..
I got the new KTM390 Rally and the low end issues are fixed, added fuelx pro for much smoother engine and 10 setting+ its the only true premium all rounder bike, most fun on offroads with fully adjustable suspensions, electronics loaded for safety, truly no comparisons for its price, no other option makes it a winner
Nice video. The main difference is that Adv390 can be a perfect second bike. It is a specialist bike which you will hate in the city but highway touring, high speed cruising ~120 kmph is excellent. Scrambler 400x is an all rounder and can be the only bike in your garage. Lovely in city and if you are ok with cruising on highways at between 80 and 100 kmph speeds, it is perfect.
the video is good but the guy defending the Triumph was speaking like an Immature rider totaly oblivious of the facts and calling KTM riders chappri is not an Argument. If you are making a review you should be unbiased and know that not all KTM riders are chappri. chappri can and do ride all sorts of bikes including superbikes. be more professional with the reviews, as an ADV owner lookinng to buy a Scrambler 400X, calling the KTM Rider chappri isnt doing any favours to the bike.
❤ for Amit (ktm guy), atleast he talks unbiased facts. Ultimately, if u can afford just go for KTM and change sprocket for better low end. Better service network. And already established its reliabilty. Bike lovers know that person riding could be chapri not the bike ✅
Ktm adv any day better on highways, stiff suspension is definitely much better at high speed stability above 90kmph, also much better for handling, with a taller windscreen it is unbeatable for long journeys and seat is definitely better than thag triumph, Triumph definitely better for overall all use if you travel very infrequently and stay mostly within city but if you are buying a bike to mainly travel forget it dont even think go for adv and wait for the 2025 adv
So buy a KTM and keep adjusting yourself for multiple things like breaks, seats, fit and finish, daily commute etc. This doesn’t justify for what you pay. I think it’s better pay for a Triumph and not “adjust” yourself for what is supposed to be functional on a motorcycle.
Frankly, Scrambler X competes with adventure X considering the price and Features offered. I have ridden both. My Verdict - Scrambler X if you ride primarily in city traffic and ocassional Highway touring/ riding. Buy KTM Adventure X - If ride/Tour mostly on Highway. It will do city traffic but will need little extra effort than Scrambler X.
Scrambler looks nice on paper but this should be actually compared to the ADV 390X. There's lot of things that need to be fix on Scrambler. Mainly the placement of coolant reservoir. That bugs me out, one serious hit to the bash-plate and you're Doomed.
Thanks!! If you're planning to buy such a bike by this year end, you should wait for the new ktm 390 adventure! That's gonna be on hell of a bike! Otherwise the triumph is also good for daily city rides and occasional highway/off-road rides!
Pls mention about the triumphs coolant reservoir placement my friend had a damage and leakage. About average my Frnd gets 29 n I get 33 in city riding late night at 65-70 kmph Highway 36 kmph. Parts r cheap. Ktm all the way
KTM will lose out eventually. They ask for a premium price and design their machines like it's an after-thought! Have you even seen the ugly new Dukes? The next RC and ADV will simply get worse. And what was that about road presence? The 400X is a new bike. ADV 390/250 have been here for a while. Obviously, Triumph will turn more heads than any KTM! Just like I said before, KTM needs to fire their design team and compose a totally new one which understands on-going design trends bettter.
A aa. You haven't been to Triumph showroom I guess. The Scrambler and Speed look Puny in flesh. I am an RE hater but sorry to say in terms of presence when it comes to retros RE gets full marks. Buying a triumph is purely for how it rides. Regarding KTMs. Those are pricey. So anyone who can't afford rejects them as sour grapes. Bottom-line Scrambler and Speed are pure all rounder bikes. Fun to ride and do everything with certain limitations. KTM adv has the same character but with a big bike feeling. It's more for people who plan to upgrade to a bigger adv in future. And the electronics. It's mind boggling. Having ridden the Ducati Multistrada in Bologna for a fortnight. I know what these electronics mean. Cornering ABS on a 390! Even Triumphs haven't been able to get that on 660s yet. It's just TVS that has managed to do that recently. I recently got the 790s cruise control installed on my 390 ADV. Thanks to the global platform and community KTM garners. So it boils down to a ratio Price:Rideability. If you can afford the KTM and spend on customising. It to your liking then Just buy one. If not buy a scrambler.
@@virajvroomsLooks are subjective but the guy outright called it ugly while he's harping on Triumph's looks. If I want a true classic just for the looks, I'd go for RE. Their build quality and products have really improved over the past few years. Why would I want to go for Triumph's experiment for the Indian market over a tried and tested Duke or RE which practically owns the classic retro segment in India? KTM offers a lot for the money you pay. Of course, they've reliability issues and quality checks aren't the highest but they really produce revolutionary motorcycles for the Indian market. A really fun bike to ride.
@@sewerrat Agreed. If you are buying a bike purely for its retro looks RE is the boss. They have mastered it over time. I am still not convinced about the quality. My friend owns a meteor 350 and the niggles are just irritating. No comments on Scramblers quality. Bajaj has the knack to conceal the tit bits that feel substandard at first glance. We will only know over time.
@@virajvrooms Oh, the entire 350 range is trash, the Gt650s go on a death spiral, the Himalayans first few gens were absolutely unfixable. What I meant is their newer offerings. The hunter seems like a bang for the buck, super meteor and shotgun (although not good for the Indian market) have great build quality and a sense of premium quality not known from RE before. They've slowly managed to become a niche brand with the reputation of building great quality beginner/second bikes in the west. The improvement is great but they still have to prove it. KTM had a similar reputation in the west, they've bettered themselves. Bajaj have turned the brand around. I'm always careful not to buy the first iterations of any bike but man, I test rode the new 390duke and I can't resist myself from buying it. I'm just waiting for the newer 390adv based on the new engine and improvements.

new Gen 3 duke is a all rounder with no issues till date to me atleast also I rode the speed 300 but it feels pale to the excitement on 390 duke
