After Effects Shatter broken Easy Tutorial

hello This is a method to use Shatter, which is a basic effect in AE, to break where the user wants.
Because this effect can be applied simply by drawing a mask where you want it,
You can use it easily at any time.

2 things to concider: 1) work in an 8 bpc project (bottom project panel) 2) don't use the effect 'Fill' on the solid, just use a white solid (fill is a 32 bpc effect and shatter a 8 bpc) that's the way it worked for me.

Oh wow. I've always done the slow motion shatter effect by making a shatter and time remapping a pre-comp of it to be slower. Didn't realize it had a built in setting for that with viscosity. Thanks!
