Hey Lovelies...just for clarification purposes...the parts where I mentioned "the base of the hair" I actually meant the tips/ends of the hair( you could see by the demonstration with my hand)...excuse me for that. That being stated, I hope this video helps someone out there. Stay Beautiful!
@lindsaychrisharmony Not sure why there are a lot of new growths which are shorter than my 8 to 10 inches length of hair. These short hairs appear like undergrowth to relaxed hair and look like serious breakage. Any advice?
@@ot3736 Different hairs on the head are at different stages of growth cycle at any given time... that's a major reason why you see some short hairs sometimes...they actually look like new growth..I can relate...but it's not breakage..no it's not...except for those who neglect their hairs, they can experience breakage like that. But for those who take proper care and have no medical condition that causes breakage like that, it's that the hairs are at different growth phases each time.
I’ve watched tons of how to grow natural hair tips videos but somehow you are the only one who emphasize the fact that the ends must be kept moisturized at all times. When I made this realization my hair started growing. I’m now bra strap length.
Love the consistent post! Been wearing my own hair twa fro out with pride in public and still I get compliments. For the first time in my life I’m in love with my curls and texture and have been focusing on my real hair now and not wigs weaves and extensions. My hair has been thanking me! Thankyou for you encouragement and representation of self love 💗

For people like you I'll keep doing what I love to do..."Teach as well as Encourage women regarding the beauty of their Natural hair". Sending you Love and Light🙏🏾
I totally agree with what you said about trimming. If one has mastered the proper way to take down protective hair styles and proper hair care habits, they will not need to trim as often.
Talk about that madness i hear some people advocating for equal hair length. I never pay attention to that and my hair is flourishing. Love you Lindsay😍
Since I went natural, I have never actually seen split ends on my hair. I just used to trim my hair because the natural hair "experts" said you're supposed to trim your hair every 8 to 12 weeks. In the past year though, I just stopped trimming on a regimen, and I've seen my hair flourish and I'm not losing length unnecessarily.
I understand...many people follow what they have heard a lot of "experts" say... without knowing the main reason behind it...and honestly...these "experts" are not always right. I can so relate with you. Glad to know your hair is flourishing. Keep up the good works 🙌🏽
Im glad you spoke on the point that hair grows at different rates. Personally the hair on the right side of my head grows faster than that on the left. I tried cutting the hair on the right many times to be the same length as the left but it will always grow past it. Thank you for sharing!😊
When my hair is long enough to twist I will begin protective style to protect my growing fro like you say. Right now I just wear short curly fro and moisturize it properly daily! My hair looks very healthy, moisturized, detangle and shiny from everything I do that I learned from you. Wearing my curly fro and twist will be my only style these next 5 years to retain length. My hair LOVES WATER!
Love you products ! Amazing natural hair advice! You are the best, a living proof, trustable source of information. I never knew my hair could feel and be so healthy. Love your products!
I'm so happy I found you! I've been natural for 10 years and thought about relaxing since I love length and I can't seem to achieve that. Your hair is my dream hair. Thank you thank you thank you for helping me with this.
Yes! This video helped me tremendously!!! Due to your video, I am transitioning from wash & Gos to tucking in my ends now that I have some length to twist. I will set a day for my ends. I learned so much from you. I am embracing and learning to LOVE my natural GOD given self. THANK YOU!
This was so good and I love how you broke it down to make us understand how important it is to moisturize your ends starting tomorrow I’m going to dedicate once a week or so to just my ends. To retain length.
Fairyfrowmother, great tips for maintaining hair length! I appreciate the emphasis on caring for the ends, it's often overlooked but so important. Thanks for sharing these helpful reminders!
Thank you for your post. I struggle knowing what split ends look like. I don't want to be cutting off the wrong thing but want to have healthy hair. I really need some guidance with this.
I just did a henna and Amla hair treatment and mixed it with coconut milk to give my hair some strength. My hair feels so strong the next day but not dry. I’m gonna focus on moisture this week and doing a scalp massage with a herbal oil every other day to promote growth. I’ll wash my hair every weeks next wash day will be moisturize, I’ll add some bramhri and jammin fruit to my deep conditioner and sit under heat for 20 minutes then braid my hair back up
Hi, thank you for your information! You have definitely changed my outlook on caring for my hair for the better. The description of the ends after straightening hit close to home because that is exactly my situation with the front of my hair. However, I have recovered the ends of my hair in the back with the acv and clay mask mix from one of your earlier videos, so thank you! I also wanted to ask if you think mini twists is a good hairstyle for protection and stretching. A simpler description of my hair would be 3b-4a for reference. I’m also 16 with a busy schedule but i don’t mind taking time out for my hair.
Hello from my lovely island Saint Lucia. I love your videos . Thank you for your generosity and love in sharing your knowledge . Your approach and philosophy resonates with me.. I need your help in caring for my short hair. I have decided to no longer relax my hair and cut my hair into a fade about a month ago.
