A silent hair killer is tap water that is hard. Essentially hard water is the worst for your skin and hair.
Please use rain water whenever you can to bath and use on your hair.

Ever since I started using rain water, i actually have my curls popping without putting any product in. Wet or dry my curls are still visible

I agree, showed your video to a friend with 4C Low Porosity hair who was getting to the point of being scared to wash her hair as it just knotted up (today's tap water contains fluoride and limescale) and it she left it to dry naturally in a protective style it would be wet for days. She tried a tea rinse made with distilled water, 3 days after a henna treatment (which dried her hair out a little) and after watching your video. The tea rinse left her hair soft and drank up the tea within hours like a nourished starved plant.

first of all, look absolutely beautiful and elegant , second i have been wondering how to hydrate my hair without water alone cause I noticed it dries it out even more and breaks when I use water alone, and you have explained it beautifully. Thank you so much, i immediately subscribed cause I finally found someone who truly understands our hair and how it operates. its quite rare to find UA-camrs who fully understand african hair , especially when the natural hair movement began. Welcome home. I went natural 6 years ago after wearing perm over 40 years. My hair was always past my shoulders and I did not big chop either. My hair is really thriving. I did roller sets while transitioning. Best decision I could have made to go natural. And you do not have to become a product junkie either. Good luck on your journey!

I’m in a very dry climate so I had to stop using leave in conditioners cause I noticed it seemed to make my hair feel dryer. Since you mentioned that about glycerin which is a humectant, it seemed like it was pulling moisture out of my hair. Once I stopped using it and just did a light watery liquid spritz and seal with oil my hair felt softer.

Just found your channel a few days ago and subscribed immediately. Thanks for the great content! I started drinking my herbal tea yesterday and this is day 2. Prior to this, I would buy them, mostly green tea, but have not been nearly consistent with drinking them. I’ll have them for months after lol. 😂. That is going to change. My hair has refused to grow for years and I’m committed to changing that this year. I will definitely do a herbal tea rinse on my next wash day! ❤
