    Avoid:
    1. Nonstick pans
    2. Plastic cutting boards - wood is best
    3. Don’t use aluminum cookware.
    4. Plastic food containers - use glass
    5. Knives - take care of them, don’t leave in water to rust, keep sharp
    6. Dish detergents - use natural, plant based
    7. Don’t use rancid oils - rancid oils smell - check with your nose! Store oil in dark glass bottles.
    8. Replace very old spices and herbs
    9. Avoid plastics with BPA
    10. Stay organized to avoid accidents.
    11. Replace old, dangerous items, like can openers

Duh. You take your knives to get sharpened! You don't throw out good knives because they get rusty! You brillo pad that shit off! 😂 They get rusty from sitting in water. Don't let them sit in water. It's a chemical reaction with the steel.

People can sharpen their own knives, buying a knife sharpener. Every knife can be sharpened in the house.
      2. Carbon Steel pans are the perfect kitchen pan once seasoned.

@murphyrod4839 No. That is NOT the same! The "sharpening" you do at home is just a maintenance thing. Professional sharpening puts a new edge on your blade.
